Beautiful log cabin built in the early 1930s; the front of the house originally served as a local bait shop. We have the largest lot on the lake and the best view. During the winter, you can even see Stone Mountain in the distance. The property features a large fire pit, a metal kayak, and a Jon boat for your use. Our lake is fully stocked with largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, and bluegill. There are plenty of great spots to pitch a tent, and since we are situated on a hill, there is no need to worry about flooding. The Bait Shack includes one bedroom with a queen bed and a bunk bed (twin over full). There is also a large couch in the living room and an air mattress tucked under the bunk bed for extra guests. Interestingly, our property was recently used as a filming location for two of T-Pain’s new music videos!

The entire property is about 10 acres. But don't let the seclusion fool you! We are a 30min ride to the airport. You can enjoy a walk through our labyrinth that has over 80 blueberry bushes surrounding it. As an extra, you can have a tour of our family farm. Stone Mountain Park is also a short drive or bike ride from here, where there is hiking, paddling, golf, and amusement rides available. For a more local experience, the Pine Lake Beach is just a 1.5 miles away. It's a beautiful site for swimming and fishing. New to camping and not sure that you can cook an adequate meal over a fire? No problem. This site provides access to the best of country luxury alongside the city conveniences of DoorDash and UberEats, all in one place. We have a propane heater for the colder months and 2 battery powered fans for hot days.

I can’t say enough good things about my stay! The farm setting was absolutely serene — nestled along a river and within striking distance of the mountains. Every detail was so thoughtfully done, from the well-kept amenities to the little touches that made it feel both comfortable and connected to nature. What really stood out was the hospitality. The hosts were genuinely kind and welcoming, and they went out of their way to help me plan things to do in the area — from scenic spots to local hidden gems; they went out of their way to make my stay extra special. Between the peaceful surroundings, beautiful scenery, and top-notch amenities, this place was the perfect balance of comfort and adventure. I left feeling refreshed, grounded, and already dreaming of coming back. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a peaceful escape in nature!

Loved the tent camping provided including the appliances available to cook. Great sleeping space in the tent. Only recommendation is if the tent for the toilet is a little bigger. It was quite difficult to utilize due to the tight space. Other than that, I recommend if you need a quick and simple space to get away from the city.

Weekend Trip to Stone Mountain Glamping Site

We rented Kim's campsite for my husband's 40th birthday celebration. The woods on her property are lovely and private. You feel isolated, even though her property backs up to neighbors. It's super tranquil. We did not spend the night, as we had toddlers and only live 30 minutes away. We did utilize the fire pit and the additional wood Kim gifted us was very appreciated. It had been raining for days (weeks) and the ground was muddy. Kim put down hay for us and it really turned out to be such a fun experience. The grill was basically brand new and there were so many additional amenities (plates, cups, grilling tools, a firestarter bundle). Even though we didnt sleep there, I could imagine a really fun night time experience. It is well lit and there are extra chairs and lanterns We loves exploring the woods and walking on the trails. A few weeks later and those bluerberries would be ripe and ready! Thanks for the wonderful time, Kim!

Weekend Trip to Welcome To Blue Fork Farm!

We LOVE staying at Andy & Anna’s rustic little farm. This was our third time staying there. The weather didn’t cooperate very well this time; we didn’t get to have a fire in the fire pit while we were there and there was some really bad weather for a minute but we never lost power in the cabin. We explored the property some when it wasn’t raining and played games we brought along inside the cabin when it was rainy weather. Andy and Anna provide games to play in the cabin if you don’t bring any with you. There are also some big wooden blocks (think giant Jenga sized blocks) that my daughter loves to play with when we are there. Every time it’s time to leave we want to stay longer! The small kitchen area has a microwave and a dorm fridge so it is a little challenging to make meals for 5 people (our group size) if the weather is too yucky to grill out. Luckily for us on this trip the weather cooperated long enough to make a couple of meals; the other meals we ate at a couple of restaurants. I think Andy & Anna’s rustic farm is a great blend of camping and GLAMPING (indoor plumbing for the WIN!) The hosts are super welcoming, friendly and helpful!

This was my first time using HipCamp or any renting platform, I was a little nervous about figuring things out, timing, etc. Leading up to our weekend stay, Kim was ready and willing to answer any questions that I had. Kim & Taylor are so awesome, communicative and super helpful!!!! Their space is beautiful! My partner and I enjoyed our stay so much!! It’s a super cozy and peaceful spot. We chose Kim’s spot because my mother lives near Stone Mountain and we wanted an adventure while visiting her for Easter. Situated in a quiet, residential neighborhood we felt completely safe being so close to Atlanta. I liked the well lit, large off street area to park. There’s plenty of room for multiple cars. Kim’s manager, Taylor, met me on-time, gave a wonderful orientation of the grounds and set up an extra hammock for us. I visited with my brother, so I rearranged the furniture a bit but the large canvas tent easily accommodated my cot. The memory foam mattress was great, the potty was easy to use and the trails through the woods were clearly marked. When I visit my mom and the weather is agreeable, I hope I can stay again. The glampsite at Kim and Trina’s farm is truly a sanctuary in the middle of Atlanta. Not only is the set up a scenic getaway, but the hospitality that Kim and Trina create is truly unmatched. I will be coming back in the future when I visit Atlanta again. Lois

This is the perfect place to stay if you’re looking to glamp right outside of atlanta. It was only a 15 min drive to decatur and 25 to atlanta. The host was very nice and communicative. We had everything we needed and I would recommend!

4 nights at Welcome To Blue Fork Farm!

Another incredible experience! Last year we visited Andy and Anna’s for a reset and this year more of the same. Last year we wish we had stayed longer and this year we did stay longer yet it still didn’t feel long enough. This is a special place where you can experience nature and all the things you love about camping but without the work. I personally love cooking outside and enjoyed doing that for most every meal. The fire pit is huge, cozy and inviting. The space is so well thought out and even on a rainy day it is bright and airy with plenty to do. I can go on and on but ultimately the care and hospitality that Andy and Anna give to the experience and property is rare which is why visiting their little farm will hopefully be a yearly thing for us (hopefully more)!

This was an absolute gem of a hip camp!! So perfect!! The rustic cabin was so charming and cute! And the hosts were wonderful!! Even had muffins and wine waiting for us!! It was just what we needed to make this weekend extra special! Definitely will Be staying again!!

The cabin is perfect for outdoorsy folk who have people in their crew who may be more indoorsy. It is close to Ellijay and Carters Lake and easy to get to Blue Ridge. Would definitely stay again with my wife and young kids (who loved the bunk beds).

The cabin was lovely and had delicious muffins and a bottle of wine waiting for us upon arrival. The farm was beautiful and we took hikes down to the river. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating. A favorite place we will remember forever and we will definitely be planning another trip here.
