We are nestled in the beautiful North Georgia mountains! We are close to Ellijay, Helen, Blue Ridge. We are in Suches, Georgia. Hiking, fishing, motorcycle riding and more are here. We have gorgeous waterfalls close by, and the night sky is beautiful with lots of star gazing! We have a large, level campground space for tents, RV's, and more. The yurt is a large one room tent space with a king size bed, 2 side tables, 2 lamps, a lounge chair and a coffee table. For cool nights there is a space heater, and a large fan for warm evenings. The door way is a double zip closure. It is camping outdoors in style! It is fully decorated, has electricity and a mini frig. Park in the grass or gravel in front of the yurt. There is a large shared bath house with separate showers, a large vanity, several sinks, toilets, towels, soaps, and a hair dryer. Linens and towels are provided (please leave them with us). Another great Memorial Day weekend at Kennedy Creek! Breakfast biscuits were a highlight. We'll be back in 2024.

Glamping in a Yurt!
The property the Yurt was on was gorgeous, nestled in the mountains, and even next to an airfield. The yurt itself was very cute and cozy, well furnished and much bigger on the inside than it seems! Even though we only stayed for one night, we found the experience to be a really fun getaway and a good way to get the feeling of camping even when it's freezing out, without having to actually freeze!

Glamping in a Yurt!
Amazing place! From the beautiful yort to the hospitality shown by Brenda and Claudia. Also, the facilities were the cleanest I’ve ever used at a campground. The temp. was 25F at its lowest while here and I had no issue staying warm within the yort. I will definitely be a regular here whenever hiking in the area.

Great time at Kennedy Creek!
Glamping in a Yurt!
The yurt was double booked so we got moved to a bunkhouse across the road for the same price point, they also comped our dinner at the restaurant. It was awesome! Very cozy and warm. Considering it got down to 18 degrees our second night, I think we are lucky we got moved. The restaurant was great, the staff was polite and friendly. I would definitely go back again. I heartily recommend it!

I have officially lost count on how many times we have visited at this point. We absolutely love this place and we LOVE to bring our friends and family. This was just the visit we needed to reset after a long crazy year. We hope to come back one more time before the year is out.

Beautiful weekend!
Glamping in a Yurt!
We loved the yurt on Claudia’s land!! Inside was very clean and comfortable, we’ve been to a few yurts and this was by far one of our favorites! Our yurt was not too close to the nearby cottages/yurts which was nice, the lights outside added a coziness and felt very romantic for my husband and I :) The restrooms were nearby and easily accessible, and a cool part was having a tavern to go to for drinks and delicious food! Prices were awesome, the hosts/owner made us feel like family and the food was delicious. 10/10 recommend!

Absolutely beautiful place! Can’t wait to come back and rent a yurt or cabin. The hosts were kind, friendly and accommodating. They really went out of their way to make sure I had a comfortable stay. Highly recommend. Tent space 4 is a little further back and private.

Great location with a variety of amenities. Brenda was super helpful and kind. It was amazing that they have fully furnished dorms available, which came in handy when our tent collapsed from the massive rain we had. Having a safe, dry place to sleep out the storm was very appreciated.

Glamping in a Yurt!
This was so cool!! The place is on a little campground with a general store/walking trail/Public space. Super, super cute and the yurt itself was comfortable and the location was great for my hike the next day! Highly recommended!

I had such a lovely time with my boyfriend and his daughters, I just had to bring my son and best friend up to see this place. The views of the ski and the magic of the property is so very lovely. Truly feels like home. Not to mention the food is amazing!! And the trees for hammock sleeping is wonderful.

What a wonderful campground in Suches, GA! We didn't lack for anything and everyone made us feel like we were right at home! They even provide meals on the weekends (for a charge) and the food was wonderful! We will definitely be back!!! The tiny cabin was cozy and clean and had everything we needed to make our trip wonderful! My 3-legged dog, Dixie even loved it!

Kennedy Creek Resort: Tent Spaces - 513c
Beautiful, well-maintained, almost impossibly green property, nestled in a high mountain valley with enough level real-estate to hold a 2,000-foot grass airstrip. (Each day featured at least one take-off and landing from light, single-engine craft.) Tent camping was either in a wooded area or on the edge of an open field. We chose the latter, but set up hammocks in the woods. Clean restrooms and showers were an easy walk away. Easily available firewood, ice, and weekend buffet dinners were a plus. (We typically do all our own cooking, but we did get some smoked chicken and ribs our second evening at the "leftover" rate.) The only mild critique I'd offer is to point out the abundance of poison ivy and poison oak in the wooded area. Might be a good idea to go in and take that out so less wary campers don't come home itchy. That said, we've already booked a site for Memorial Day weekend 2023.

Very chill spot in the beautiful blue ridge foothills. Views were great, food was delicious, and the folks were very kind. Plus there is a cool little plane that flies around! Bring a frisbee!

Great spot for camping! Very picturesque area in a valley. Large open grass field, small forested area, and a creek. We definitely plan to come back and stay again in the future.
