There are 3 treehouses present on these 5 acres of land tucked into the National Forest. A stream runs past 2 of the treehouses down to a pasture with a small assortment of animals. The property includes friendly, free roaming, outdoor cats that will likely keep you company during your stay. Do note there are dogs at the main cabin. While on your glamping trip, there are several places nearby to hiking, fishing, swimming, and if you're brave enough, even biking the ups and downs of the mountain roads. Parking, as well as a bathroom with running water and electricity, are at the main cabin, which is a short walk from the treehouse.

Snapping Shoals Creek

Porterdale, GA · 2 sites · Tents, Lodging
Secluded campsites near Snapping Shoals Creek, our fully furnished campsites come complete with a hot shower, clean bathroom, picnic tables, trash cans, a grill, and complimentary firewood. The road in is narrow and can become muddy after rain, making it best suited for small 4x4 vehicles. If you need assistance, we have a tractor and trailer available to transport you to and from the campsites. We also have a treehouse situated high above the creek, uniquely built so you don't have any stairs to climb, even though the back porch sits 25 feet above the water. The treehouse is primitive but cozy. It is equipped with a wood-burning stove for cold nights, and during the summer, an air conditioner can be provided.
