You may spot dragonflies, birds, squirrels ,bears and more, though wildlife sightings are never guaranteed. I absolutely loved my stay here! Sam thought about everything! From the fire pit, to the incredible hot tub with coffee in the morning, I would return 100000 times! There are so many incredible things to do around there, I had the best day ever exploring around there and staying! I can’t wait to return!

Nice area quiet and well kept. everything you need to set up camp. The pad is a little quirky. Your power is on one side of the pad and water and sewer are on the other side. The pad I guessing is 36 feet wide, So you need to park according to how much cable or water line you have.I parked near the power so I had to run 25 ft of sewer line. and it goes up hill at the end so you had to walk out the drain line , There seems to be 2 inlets you need to look around for the lower one it is hidden in the grass. the other inlet sticks up so high it was difficult to get a good drane . both 50 and 30 amp are available. The water is Ocracoke water, I Never did like it You might want to bring bottle water , Although there is no problem with the water it is safe to use , I just don't like the water anywhere on the Island. no picnic table or trash cans. You can deposit trash at the trash depot next to the post office. Not far from town so community store is just a few minutes away as well as Restaurants and shops. If I keep RVing I will be back .

Large site, easy access, I did not see a picnic table or trash bins, the electric and sewage are on opposite sides so you may need extra hose and park in the middle of pad. I would definitely return and am already looking at dates to re book

This is the perfect choice for those looking for simplicity when camping. The area was spacious and well maintained making it perfect for tents, or in my case, a small 15ft off grid camper. The driveway leads back to an area surrounded by trees giving it a sense of privacy despite not being out in the middle of no where. Given the convenience of the location.... you're not going to find a better deal for miles around if you're looking for something simple.

Great RV spot in Ocracoke. A quick bike or golf cart ride to everything in town. Nice level RV pad with easy access to hook ups. The neighborhood is a set of roads with houses along the canals. Great for walks. Ocracoke is an amazing place. Very relaxing and everyone we met was friendly and welcoming.

Beautiful setting that is convenient to Avon yet also private and natural. What a great way to use the space under a beach house! It was perfect to keep our teardrop out of the rain and give us plenty of covered space to spread out. Note that while this home is as close to the dune as possible, the homes on this part of the island are set back from the actual beach so there is a bit of a hilly nature walk to the dune and a steep drop down to the beach. However, that nature walk (complete with wild flowers) was actually our favorite part! Just a note that those who have mobility issues might need to use the public access walkway a few houses down the street which has decking and stairs for better accessibility. The owner is very quick to respond when we had questions. We did have a few minor issues (e.g no hot water or lights in the shower or bathroom) but we loved it regardless and will hopefully be back!

We loved camping at this horse farm. Dawn was responsive and easy to work with. The drive back to the site can be a little tight but if you take your time you can make it easily. Water and electric worked perfectly. It's a great location in fairly close proximity to Rehoboth and other beaches in the area.

A great little spot in Wanchese, just a few minutes from where Hwy 64 hits 12 at the beach. I was here several nights as I explored the OBX and it the location was perfect. Not too far from Wright Brothers memorial and a perfect spot if you want to go north or south on OBX. The spot is simple but comfortable, just off the road in front of the host’s house. The road is pretty quiet and there’s a hedge to provide privacy from the road. I stayed both weekdays and a weekend day, the road noise was minimal as the location isnt too far from the “end of the road”. There is a 30 amp hookup, water and sewer connection available. Levi was an awesome and friendly host, a great guy to chat with when we passed each other. I would definitely come stay again at this site.
