The campground is an easy distance to Downtown Knoxville and an even easier access to all that South Knox's Urban Wilderness has to offer. It uniquely offers a hint of backcountry camping without the 25-mile hike in. It is a great way to test the waters for primitive camping or an easy stop close to the city for a seasoned traveler. It is best suited for car camping, RVs, tent, and hammock camping. There are fire pits and picnic tables at each site with enough room for tents and RVs. Most sites have trees suitable for hammock camping all along the creek. There is potable water, firewood for sale, solar showers, and a bike wash stand all next to the covered communal area. Each standard site can accommodate 2 people to keep space between groups and lessen the impact on the land. Sites 10 and 13 can each accommodate 6 guests. If you have more in your group, we recommend reserving an adjoining campsite. Sites 1, 2 and 3 are off the main path to the left of the property, and still by the creek. Sites 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 are all along the creek and gravel drive Site 10 is very private with creek access on three sides. Site 11 is private with creek access all along the front. It is passable by any vehicle as long as the vehicle is not overloaded beyond its ability and/or has an extremely low profile. Any area that is not an actual campsite is left to nature, not manicured, trimmed or sculpted. Only 15.0mi via KY-90W by vehicle or 14mi by kayak to Cumberland Falls State Park with many hiking trails. One of the oldest original homesteads in the area, for nearly 150 years this gem has been in the family. We have shared it with many people over the years and would love to share it with you! These beloved woods are the remaining part of the once vast, Patrick homestead-started soon after the Revolutionary War. Our family ties and our roots grow very deeply along this river and these woods-we've been born and raised here and continue to strive to be good stewards of these lands. The site is a private lot nestled in a beautiful little spot outside the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. 6 miles to Pigeon Forge Parkway 8 miles to Sevierville Parkway 13 miles to Gatlinburg There are water, electric and sewage hook ups. Wifi is available. We have a great little setup of 4 chairs and solar lights surrounding a fire pit, a picnic table with an umbrella, and a 4' connect four and Corn Hole boards. There are no bathrooms or shower.

We still have horses and and a few smaller rescues , including 5 dogs. We are in the Heart of it all. Looking for quiet nights and super starry skies? This is the place. We have 1 rescued horses and a donkey. Sugergliders and trained rats from a movie. 5 dogs , 2 house cats. We are located exactly in the middle between Pigeon Forge(with shows and go karts) andTownsend.. with the quiet side of the smokies... tubing, horseback riding, hiking, Cades Cove offers biking and car tours. We are one mile from the foothills parkway entrance and less than 2 miles to a Great Smoky mountains entrance. Our sites offer toilets, potable water and trash disposal. We are pet friendly, and you are permitted to have campfires (outside of any burn ban). We offer animal encounters.

This spot was exactly the breath of fresh air I needed. The sites were beautifully maintained, the views were stunning, and the hosts were wonderfully communicative. I ended up extending my stay—twice! I even caught the northern lights during the solar flares, which made the whole experience feel magical. Sitting beside the creek was the perfect way to slow down and enjoy the day—it added a gentle rhythm to the whole trip. The location is peaceful yet close enough to town to be convenient. Highly recommend.

The location is convienent, well kept and pretty private. The port-o-john was immaculate!! Seriously, the creek was lovely, the site (#10) was perfect for us but I was most impressed with the port-a-potty. Someone takes really good care to keep it clean which is most appreciated for those of us who don't have bathrooms in our campers.

Build a camper out of a 1991 GMC box truck had to give it a shake down test of all systems and failures. Spent 26 days at this campground it's very nice and private, stayed @ # 2 site plenty of open space. The owners are great and very caring, also it's about 2 miles down the road for shopping with every restaurant chain and amenities I was completely blown away. Making upgrades and will return for another month of shake down testing, this vehicle is completely off grid it's being debug at this campground before bringing it to my mountain property with same condition. Site # 10 is beautiful and private.

The place gave me a very peaceful sense of security for a few days, to leave my stuff unattended while I researched more permanent local areas. Jacob is a great guy and is there to help anyone, the best he can.

We had a great time hanging out and relaxing on the property. The campsite was nice and level and had beautiful views. We planned to camp 2 nights, but the weather said otherwise. We would have been perfectly happy camping multiple nights. The electrical hookup, water, and string lights were a game changer. We felt spoiled. I normally camp off grid, so the amenities were extra nice. The property isn't far from the general population, but it feels secluded. We look forward to returning. *Just something to note. The owners live on the property and use the gravel drive next to the campsite. They also have a dog on the property that barked some at night. We've camped at heavily traveled campsites and have camped around coyote's that howled all night. This wasn't that big of an issue. We had a great experience.

Dylan is an excellent host! He gave us our privacy His dogs are so sweet, they'll wander around but they listen well. It feels odd camping on the side of someone's driveway, however, youre within 12 minutes of a gas station and stores and it's so quiet! Would definitely recommend for a quick getaway with 4 people max. May be a tight fit for 2 tents. Definitely coming back!
