Ellis Cove

This spot was exactly the breath of fresh air I needed. The sites were beautifully maintained, the views were stunning, and the hosts were wonderfully communicative. I ended up extending my stay—twice! I even caught the northern lights during the solar flares, which made the whole experience feel magical. Sitting beside the creek was the perfect way to slow down and enjoy the day—it added a gentle rhythm to the whole trip. The location is peaceful yet close enough to town to be convenient. Highly recommend.

Ellis Cove 008 Riverside Campsite

Beautiful location. The river is very picturesque and would have been perfect for playing in if the weather had been warmer. We had no trouble finding the place and the hook ups all worked well.

Just a really peaceful spot to stay. We are low maintenance and don’t really need any attention and this suits us perfectly. Our dogs love the wide open space and splashing in the river.

Campsite #9

We stayed at campsite #9 and absolutely loved it. We had an open view of the field and the surrounding hills. There is a pine tree that blocks the deck of the neighboring tiny house so it felt more secluded. We took our yellow lab and he loved playing in the creek and retrieving in the field. The campground is well kept and secluded. The only negatives are minor but worth mentioning. While it’s nice being secluded, if you want to go to the store or a restaurant it’s a 30 minute drive one way. Also, the sewer connection was too high for my hose to drain without help. Again, those are minor inconveniences and definitely not a knock on the campground. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a spacious, secluded place to camp.

The views from this property are absolutely breathtaking! The gentle, rain-rolling river added such a peaceful touch to the stay. It’s close enough to town if you want to explore, yet quiet and relaxing when you’re ready to unwind. The community fire pit was the perfect spot to share stories and connect with other guests. If you haven’t camped here yet, you need to! Andrew was incredibly accommodating—just as amazing as the property itself! Will be staying here again!

A beautiful location away from the hustle & bustle of Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg but only a 15-20 min drive away. Full hook ups & Starlink made it feel like all the comforts of home. Spot # 9 has the best view but it is also mere feet from one of the tiny house porches....our trailer was small enough to angle away a bit so as not to look directly at their back porch. There is a large common area fire pit with grill grates but we didn't have a chance to use it. The real star of this spot is the river located on the property. It was a beautiful rocky river with plenty of places to float the day away....the neighbor across the river even offered up his tubes.

I had a wonderful time at this campsite. The property is beautiful and right next to the river. It has a fire pit with a grill that is just stunning. I'm a private person so I appreciate the fact that nobody bothered me while I was there. I will definitely be back!

My family and I truly did enjoy our stay here. We had site 7 it was very level. There were only a few families here. It was very quiet. The river was a short walk away it was very hot outside and we were able to go down to the beach and cool off. I will totally recommend this place to anyone that wants a place to feel at peace

We had a great stay on site 5. The reviews say it’s very off level, but we didn’t find it to be true. Just normal leveling with blocks. Very quiet, close to river. We enjoyed paddle boarding up the stream, then coming down through the rapids. Make sure you check Fox Fire Park, just 10 min away. A hidden gem.

Great place to camp and easy access to the river the only complaint I have is the ants are horrible at the campsites , there where a couple of big ant hills that needs to be treated but other than that its a great place and we will be back. And a FYI , wifi doesn't have enough signal to work at site 7.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ellis Cove! Very clean, very private, and super close to all the things we wanted to do in the area- Gatlinburg, Dollywood, Smoky Mountain National Park. Tubing in the Little Pigeon River was so much fun! We would definitely recommend this spot to anyone, who like us, doesn’t like to be packed in with the crowds of a regular RV Park.

Enjoyed our stay at site 0009. The site was level and facing the field that lead to the relaxing river. You can't see the river but can hear it from the site. The river is a slight walk across the field which the grass was a little high due to recent rain. We watched birds in late afternoon and June bugs fly above the grass in the early morning. There was a nice group fire pit. It was so peaceful except for the occasionally loud vehicle going up the hill on the road on the other side of the river (trees block the majority of the road.) I have already recommended to a friend and hope to come back one day. Two days wasn't enough time.

Awesome family getaway

Ellis Cove provided the perfect backdrop for our family getaway! We were so impressed with the spaciousness of the campsites, which made our stay feel comfortable and uncrowded. What truly made this trip special for our children was the proximity to the Little Pigeon River. They were in their element, from the simple joy of skipping rocks to excitedly splashing and even trying out some fun tubing. Beyond the campground, we also appreciated the easy drives to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and the Sugarlands Visitor Center in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It made exploring the area incredibly convenient. If you're looking for a campground where kids can truly connect with nature, enjoy river fun, and still have easy access to all the local attractions, this is it!

Misleading but it worked

Private, easy access to the stream, well maintained, easy hook-ups, difficult to find. Wish there was signage for “RV spots this way” or something other than the parent company’s ads. I had no idea it was owned by a vacation company rather than a small company.

Great campground

This was a beautiful site. It was very quiet and private. We had a wonderful stay. The river was lovely. It was 20 to 30 minutes away from Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Seiverville. The only downside was the narrow windy road leading to the campground, but it was that way in multiple areas and was not a deterrent. After driving past the extremely crowded larger campgrounds, we were glad that we stayed here.
