Fireside Trail LLC
This is our second time at Fireside Trail and it’s always a wonderful, peaceful, and quiet stay, making us want to come back time after time. This site is a great base camp for adventures in and around the Big South Fork area, which we always enjoy the many hiking trails the area has to offer. We enjoy making sure to stop by Yoder’s Donuts and Bakery for some fresh homemade donuts and the many baked goods they have, just a short drive going towards Jamestown. The full hook ups always work perfectly. The fire pit is always enjoyable and the site location is so relaxing, kicking back and taking in the chorus of peepers and watching lightning bugs flash around you, while looking up to the sky at night watching the stars and even getting to see meteors fly across the sky. Thank you for having us again and we will always look forward to returning!

The site was very peaceful but if you have a larger camper it is best to enter from the east and back in. There isn't enough room to turn around a large camper.

An absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and private site! Has plenty of room to maneuver your camper in and to set up everything. The sites hook ups worked perfectly. We even got to see some deer. We really enjoyed the firepit. Plenty of hiking trails close by. Lorri was a great communicator and answered all our questions. We can’t wait to come back!

So quiet and easy! Great communication. This is a particularly good spot for trailers and self-contained camping. They have provided a very nice, large, level, gravel pad with a great fire ring. If you plan to sleep on the ground, the large gravel could be uncomfortable. The owl sounds and night sky were absolutely memorable!

Great visit to Big South Fork area.

We had a great stay! Very private but easy to get to. We love coming to Big South Fork area for hiking. This time did a hike at Colditz Cove State Natural Area down to the water fall there and also spent some time visiting historic Rugby TN. Had a great lunch and ice cream at RM Brooks general store in Rugby. Lori was great communicator snd made sure we had all info we needed before out visit. Hope to be back.
