Book by the end of March and get a Early Bird Discount! SLTABXED (10%) This hidden paradise has a waterfall that used to have a mill on it in the early 1900's. There are cliffs on each side of the creek making it the perfect spot for serene relaxation. Following upstream is an assortment of spots to pitch a tent. The most notable sites are surrounded by hemlock tree's and is peaceful when birds chirp over the small rapids echoing from the large overhang *I am in the process of making multiple sites but until I do so it is first come first serve. There are multiple sites at main campsite and along creek, I've had a private event of thirty people staying at once. There are also smaller spots next to waterfall, uphill near cliff and I've had people go below falls for some complete wilderness (blocked by gorge and waterfall). With this being said, I do offer private bookings and accommodate special events! *I travel for work, so I won't always be here, but I will send directions and details after confirmation and make sure all is savvy during. Please be respectful to one and another and let me know asap if any issues arise but truthfully everyone has been amazing and I thoroughly enjoy meeting and getting to know everyone! Thanks for your contribution in turning my dream into a reality! This hidden paradise has a waterfall that used to have a mill on it in the early 1900's. I'm not your maid, nor do I want people who can't respect the land.* *A Booking is only for one tent. You can add 2 more guests to original tent and a extra tent, up to 4 people, with booking. Any more than 8 people will need to be private camping, so should be discussed before booking is confirmed. I am open to feedback and am working to making a fair enjoyable experience for all parties!* *I'm a bout to do a lot of travelling, so I can't guarantee I"ll be there. This is the reason the price has jumped up, but rest assured all funds go directly back into building and maintaining a pleasant property for all guests.* *There are live cameras set up at my living quarters and at the entrance.  Recently someone has chopped and debarked a couple Hemlock tree's. I have not put cameras up at campsite, but if people don't respect the property I will be forced to do so. Thanks!*

Breathtaking Waterfall & Campsite
For the Adventurous Camper
This is probably the coolest and most primitive site we have camped at. Our Honda Pilot has four wheel drive but we still did not feel comfortable driving down the hill to the site. It took awhile to haul all our stuff down but mostly our fault for having too much stuff. Once we got set up we really enjoyed walking to the waterfall and playing in the creek. We were able to find some firewood on the property but it was hard to find a bundle in town. Also, make sure you bring lights. The solar power string lights either did not turn on or were only on for a short time. Thank you for sharing your amazing property, Scottie!

Beautiful, and peaceful place.
My husband and I were fortunate enough to have this space all to ourselves for our Anniversary. Scottie was very kind, and so helpful in lugging our camping gear up/down the steep hill due to not having a 4wd vehicle (necessary). The views were wonderful; the swimming hole was perfect after a long day in the heat. It is more primitive camping, so as long as you know what you’re getting into, it’s a very special spot. Extra points for his doggo Reggie paying us several visits! 🤘🏻

Great Stay!
Scottie’s site was fantastic. 4-wheel drive is absolutely handy to get equipment down to the sites. There were multiple swimming holes to cool off in. The waterfall was amazing and the sites are beautiful. We had a great time and intend on returning. Bonus: the area stayed relatively cool while everywhere else near us in the state was in the 90s.

My family and I will look no further for the perfect place to set up camp! This was the first time my 9 year old son and I have ever gone camping and our experience couldn’t have been better! My husband has camped many times, in many different places, and he was as impressed with Scottie’s place as the two of us newbies. We feel extremely fortunate to have found this and are grateful to our host for welcoming others to enjoy the wonders this natural palace has to offer. We loved swimming at the waterfall, and exploring along the river. We will definitely be back!
