1 night at Conleys Creek Campground

Wonderful & peaceful campsites right on the creek. Anne & Chris were gracious hosts. They have a lovely bathouse & game room, as well outdoor games. Only stayed one night, so didn’t take advantage of all the fun stuff. Close to Bryson City & Cherokee. Hope to return someday! Highly recommend!!

The bubbling creek running just behind our campsite was soothing and added to the overall restful atmosphere. Sweet chickens wandered the property serenely and the planters full of mint and herbs made the water spigot and picnic table area even more inviting.

The location was perfect for exploring the area of Gatlinburg and Dollywood while giving the peaceful nature feel at the end of a busy day. The creek was lovely and the property was well maintained. We will definitely be back again when we come to visit the area.

Dan and Pam are wonderful hosts. Very helpful to meet all of our needs as well as providing us with privacy and a very relaxing stay. It was actually the best stay of our long trip. Camping next to the bubbling river was a great plus.

Great camp host and site near the creek. Very serene and soothing. Would definitely visit again. The "bath house" is a trailer where you can access only the small very dated bathroom. However, it does the job.

Keith has been great to work with. The site is really nice. It has has full hook-ups, CATV and it's own WIFI. The site is on a catch and release pond. It is also close to Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Don’t miss visiting this amazing National Park!

We visited in mid-May. The weather was perfect! We did have some rain the first late afternoon/evening we toured New Found Gap but it didn’t affect our enjoyment at all. As a matter of fact, we were treated to a rainbow at an overlook as we drove to Kuwohi observation tower. We also enjoyed a sublimely beautiful sunset at Morton overlook. The next day we toured Cades Cove and saw 8 black bears, as well as deer and a sprinkling of groundhogs. Words cannot say how lovely our day was!

We had a wonderful time hiking and walking the nature trails. The park is so large; there’s so many scenic views where you can sit and relax and enjoy nature or take selfies with your loved one.

Smokemont Campground

Was pleasantly surprised by this campsite. It runs along a beautiful river and has some cool little trails to walk. It is a larger fairly open site, so there's not a huge amount of privacy. Caution when booking to pick the right loop for your type of rig. RVs are primarily in one of the loops and partially in another.

I may be a bit jaded because I live in the Pacific Northwest but GSMNP was nice but not stellar. And it’s busy, even on a Wednesday in April (not during spring break). Blue Ridge parkway was better.
