Welcome to Tiny Dreamer Homestead. If you are traveling through or just want to get away, we would love to host you! The land is mowed down, lush green with some trees in the middle and just all around beautiful. I just added 4 gravel Rv pads and gravel paths around the homestead as well as 6 large wildflower gardens. Right now there are no activities on the land. Just a place to stay if someone wants to camp or you can walk on the paths. If you have a golf cart, you can ride those on the property. I do own 22 chickens which are a delight and I sell farm fresh eggs. Produce coming eventually. I also rent my tiny house on wheels on Airbnb. The camp sites have not been broken in yet so the spots are not in a designated area yet. There are 4 tent camp spots to choose from. The photos you see are the areas you can choose from. I supply a fire pit for your use during your stay.

It covers 160,300 acres and features 2,300 miles of breathtaking shoreline. Bring your boat and use our private community boat ramp. You can stop at the marinas located nearby for food and live music. If you don’t have a boat, you can rent one nearby. Kentucky Lake is a boaters dream with its clean water and beautiful scenery. Boat storage is included in your stay. Additionally, some of the best freshwater fishing in the Country can be experienced in the Kentucky Lake and is known for excellent fishing for large and small mouth bass, bluegill, white bass, catfish, and many more. WOW!!! Don't hesitate to stay here. First, this is only an hour away from our home but the drive there was beautiful. We didn't know it was so pretty. When we arrived, we met Jody. She's so warm and genuine. The campground is under construction but it is wonderful. We met Troy as he took a break from working hard just to say hello and welcome us. At night the campground has beautiful lights not big street lights but lanterns that provide just enough light. Do yourself a favor and take a drive. We didn't use GPS for our drive we just drove. So beautiful!! This campground is a hidden gem. Full hookups with WiFi! We will be back often.

Had a great stay at Lori‘s property! Plenty of space between sites, Direct water access which was great for kayaks and floats. Easy site to back into and hook up. Was concerned about how much gravel there was and how comfortable that would be, but it is very Fine gravel it was very comfortable under our outdoor rugs. Lori was extremely responsive and was a big help when we had to reschedule due to health issues. Definitely recommend!

Weekend Trip to Peaceful Hills Retreat Campground

This campsite is the perfect escape—completely quiet with no traffic noise at all. The area is clean, spacious, and well-maintained, featuring a metal fire ring, a picnic table, and a dedicated parking spot. It's fully shaded, which kept us cool and comfortable throughout our stay. We were surrounded by peaceful sounds of birds during the day, and at night, a few adorable armadillos rustled around the campsite. There are plenty of level spots for setting up tents, but while there are trees, none were quite right for our hammock—so we were glad we brought a stand. Overall, it's a serene, private retreat where nature takes center stage. Would definitely come back!

2 nights at Peaceful Hills Retreat Campground

Jennifer went above and beyond my expectations. The campground has many options for tents, RV's, and motorcycles. The site I chose wasn't the best for bikes but there are many more options to pick from. I always enjoy using Hipcamp to book campgrounds. I really enjoyed walking the grounds and taking in the wildlife. I had trouble with my bike and Jennifer and family had my back. They tracked down a part I needed to get underway, picked it up for me, and even helped with installation. While I waited Jennifer's daughter brought me water and a snack. I wouldn't expect this kind of service anywhere else. The family wanted me to enjoy my stay and bent over backwards to make sure I did. I highly recommend checking this place out. A very beautiful location out of the way of all outside noise. No car sounds or city lights to hinder ther experience. Great place.

We have been here a few times we love to bring the dogs they have so much fun running and swimming! We wished the weather would have cooperated a little better but we still had a great time everything was beautiful as always. There was several new upgrades this time which makes this place even better we love this spot and can’t wait to come back again!

Camping out in the country is great! Very peaceful. The last 3 miles to the campsite is on a gravel road if you are coming from the Bucksnort exit off I-40. Only 4 cars passed by while camping for 2 days. Plenty of shade available if you plan to set up a tent. This was my second visit to this campsite in the last month. Hope to return again in the Fall.

We loved this place! Very private and picturesque. The deck was an awesome place to wait out an afternoon rain shower. We found that we didnt spend much time at all inside our camper. It was too nice to be inside. On a side note... if there was a 30A power outlet I never found it. Bring an adapter to use the 20A or 50A outlet. But that didn't dampen our stay at all.

Peaceful Hills Retreat 390 American Way Centerville, TN 37033 (Pleasantville) Looking for the perfect getaway, you will find some peace and quiet here! Only 14.6 miles from I-40 and located on 97 acres, this campground is surrounded by nature, very secluded and private. There is a crystal-clear creek that runs parallel with the driveway and fresh spring water flowing from pipe in the rock close to the entrance on American Way. The creek is bio-diverse, filled with fascinating species, and spring fed, which means it stays cool in the summertime. There are three beautiful homes which are able to be rented out as well. The A-frame log cabin at the top of the hill is called the lodge. The second home, which is a two-story brown log cabin, is where the host lives. The third home is the cottage. Long before these three homes were built, native Indians lived in these beautiful rolling hills and we have found many arrowheads right around the homes on this property. This is a special place and we are happy and honored to share it with you! Peaceful Hills Retreat, a family owned business, started in May of 2017. It all began when Jennifer’s brilliant brother booked a two-story home through Airbnb for Jennifer and the family for a week in the Carolinas. Their Airbnb vacation was a great experience, and she loved having a kitchen to cook in, while traveling with her large family. She gladly said goodbye to tiny hotel rooms. Linda and her daughter, Jennifer realized they desired to run a BnB, and watched the scattered pieces beautifully fall into place. Peaceful Hills Retreat is also a wedding venue. There are three beautiful spots for a lovely outdoor wedding. The waterfall site is a favorite. The lodge is a beautiful place for the reception to take place outdoors and the Honeymoon Cottage makes for the perfect getaway afterwards. At each home you may read a special book called A Soldier’s Child Foundation (ASC). This life-changing, wonderful foundation near Nashville, serves children all over our great nation who have sadly lost a parent who served in our military. ASC tremendously helped Jennifer’s family after the loss of their military soldier and Peaceful Hills Retreat donates a portion of their profits to this amazing non-profit. A Soldier’s Child Foundation removed the shame and sadness from our loss and replaced it with hope, honor. and love. About

Surrounded by views of the Tennessee River, Natchez Trace features hiking trails ranging from short jaunts to a 40-mile overnight trail, many of which wind through forest, fields, lakeshore, and streams. Visitors can learn about local history in the museum, choose from four fishing lakes, or head to the unique onsite wrangler camp. You’ll find 250 miles of riding trails on the south end of the park in the Natchez Trace State Forest.

Notable campgrounds

Best for RVs: Pin Oaks Campground is located on the shore of Pin Oak Lake, has hookups, and can accommodate RVs up to 80 feet in length.
Best for equestrians: Close to the equestrian center, you can camp with your horse at Wrangler Camping.

Best for tent campers: Cub Lake Campground, open seasonally, is divided into two sections and offers a more primitive experience.

Tips for snagging a campsite

Booking in advance is recommended and can be easily done online and up to one year in advance.
Same-day booking is not available online, so you will have to call.
Double-check your dates before booking: There is a non-refundable booking fee.

When to go

Natchez Trace State Park is open year-round and great to visit at any time (though some campgrounds close seasonally). The area is a popular spot for viewing the golden fall foliage in October and November. Overall, spring might be the best time to visit, as you can see colorful wildflowers in bloom and enjoy pleasant temperatures typically in the 60s and 70s.

Know before you go

Backcountry camping is allowed in four designated sites, although a permit is required.
Visit the Natchez Park Camp Store for gear, snacks, and other supplies.
Cell service is unreliable throughout the park, so be sure to download maps prior to arrival.
Only certified heat-treated firewood is allowed to enter the park as outside firewood.
