Woods, pastures & lake. 2 spaces for RVs (with full hookups) overlook lake, Lots of grassy space for tent campers. Wildlife & bird life. From May thru Sept, there is an above-ground pool and bath house with shower, toilet and washing machine. We have some walking trails. No unregistered guests ever! No lifeguard on duty so no minor children, please. Adults only. Perfect for those wanting to totally relax in a natural setting --enjoying privacy, seclusion and a tolerant "laid-back" vibe.

Site 1 - Getaway Camp and Retreat

Beautiful spot! The hosts were friendly and the other campers were quiet and respectful. We didn’t use most of the amenities but the pool looked fun and the shower house was clean. Great to have a flushing toilet and hot water to wash hands.

Peace & Serenity on the Pond!

What a beautiful gated property and land to share with other hipcampers. Upon arrival, Mr. Dan greeted us with some home-cooked bbq chicken and after a day on the road, it was an unexpected treat. We did not have time to enjoy the pool, but the bath-house was truly adorable and one of the best features on the property for those used to primitive camping. A+ on the hot water shower. Embrace the open-air concept and get back to natural! Wish we could have lingered longer.

Site 1 - Getaway Camp and Retreat

We arrived right after sunset and were welcomed as we were putting up our tent. We felt welcomed and right at home on Lane and Dan's land and will happily go back again when we are in the area. The camping spots were spotless and the bath house was much more than I had expected. You'll need someone to stand guard for you while you shower as it is shielded only on three sides... unless I missed something. We missed the sunset but the sunrise was spectacular! If using GPS to get there, use the address to get to the property but use a dropped pin at the drive to actually get you there!
