Late night check in and early checkout, great for a quick turnaround, big yard for the dogs to play, end of road a little tight for the RV but all good 👍
Reach out to Bob ahead of time on Hipcamp for reservations. The site cost is roughly $27 with taxes. Dry camping only
Park your RV in a quiet, private, shaded pecan grove, just minutes off I-40 between Jackson and Memphis TN. Enjoy your privacy and feel free to build a fire, use the playground, and relax on one of three porches or swings in the pergola. It is a quick walk to Walgreens, post office, Subway and other local dining.
Pecan Grove, Bob & Carla made it such a great experience. He was communicative and flexible...we arrived on short notice. The site was wonderful with plenty of shade. Their dogs Freyda & Winnie were sweet dogs sniffing us through their fence.
The Greek Revival home was built in the 1860 and is now on three acres within the City of Brownsville TN.
TMobile 3 bars & 5G. We did not launch Starlink due to trees. Would stay here again.
Brownsville is known for its BBQ, Hatchie River National Wildlife Refuge, Billy Tripp's Mindfield, Dunbar Carver Museum and Delta

I haved stayed here before. Quite, easy to get to...Bob is accomidating, quick to respond, and wonderful. A GRRR8 halfway to Springdale, Arkansas for me.
What a charming little grove to tuck in for the night!! Bob brought us his wife's World Famous Cookies that were so tasty indeed! Easy to find, great communication, lots of thoughtful amenities as well. We would stay here again if ever in the area!
The camp is in a very nice pecan grove down a side street of the small town of Brownsville. Bob and his wife met us, showed us where to park, and brought us hot, homemade cookies. We had a very nice walk around the grove with the dogs and got a good night's sleep. This is just a few minutes off I-40 and a perfect place when you are driving across the country, as we were.
We popped in late for an overnight stay. Greeted by Bob, a super friendly host, with yummy homemade cookies in hand (thanks to his wife). Some nearby road sounds carried at night with tent camping, likely would not be heard in an RV.
Driving out the next morning we got a glimpse of the nearby town and it looked super cute with quaint shops, nice vibes, worth checking out.

Bob and his wife were absolutely lovely, it was a wonderful place to spend the night. Their dogs were great, and they were so hospitable greeting us with cookies and sent us off with the most lovely lattes. 1000\10 would stay again!

The heavy rains made camping on the lawn less than ideal. Fortunately, Bob had a great Plan B and offered me a spot on an adjoining driveway, which I greatly appreciated. I also had the chance to walk through Pecan Grove, and it was a peaceful and beautiful experience. The location is quite convenient too. Once I had my rig settled, Bob and his wife brought me freshly baked cookies, which were a wonderful treat after driving through a downpour all day. They are really nice people, and I enjoyed meeting them.

We enjoyed our first stay so much we came back five days later! The spot was just as described and reviewed, which was what we needed. And the pups and cookies were wonderful bonuses.
Please see previous review for more context. We would stay again! The second time, we got to meet Bob’s wife and thank her directly for the yummy cookies!

What a great little oasis between the madness (in a good way!) of Nashville and Memphis! Bob and Carla were both lovely and very welcoming. Also very helpful with information about the area. Carla’s homemade cookies on arrival were delicious 😋. Would definitely recommend
This was our first car-camping (sleeping IN our car vs. driving up to site and pitching a tent, which we’ve done many times) AND Hipcamp experience. Pecan Grove and Bob made it such a great experience. He was communicative and flexible…we arrived an hour later than anticipated from Chicago. The site was wonderful with yummy artesian water. Freyda (sp.?) & Winnie (sp.?) were sweet doggos who gave us their seal of approval (I think?). And Bob’s WIFE’S COOKIES! YUM! We would camp there again…in fact, hopefully on the return trip, as we were going to visit friends in NOLA. This was the perfect place to rest for the night in a lovely wooded spot in a sweet town.

We would recommend this place to anyone. It was a quiet and comfortable place to stay. There were good directions that were sent with the confirmation. Bob was very quick to communicate when needed. The host was very personable and the world's famous cookies were amazing. There was a short little Trail nearby which my husband and I were able to take advantage of.
Enjoyed a quiet dark peaceful night. Good location for our road trip stop. Heard a couple of early morning trains.. would stop there again. Great 5G cell signal with a location in town, got some work done.

Beautiful, level parking spot that was very quiet, walking distance to town and with a kind, friendly host. Would definitely stay again should the chance arise.
Bob and his wife are great hosts.
Bob and Carla were great hosts! They met me with cookies and smiles, helped me get my fire going, and even helped me with some ice when I asked (even though that was above and beyond). The site was quiet and well kept.

I had a great stay at Bob and his wife 's property, which felt very private and was quiet for it's location. They were so friendly and greeted me upon arrival! Very easy check in.
As others have said, you are warmly welcomed with home-baked cookies, such a nice touch. Bob helped me use the wood fired pizza oven and was more than happy to help make my stay comfortable. I would definitely return if I were in the area again!

Bob was wonderful! He was there right when we arrived (we unfortunately had to arrive late, and leave early the next morning). We had the place to ourselves. It is beautiful under the pecan trees as well. Thanks Bob!
