3 nights at Twin Lakes

Enjoyed staying here at the camp ground . The fishing ponds where amazing and it was fun and relaxing to fish . The host where great checked on us made sure we didn’t need anything .

Beautiful peaceful place! Lots of birds, huge pond, horses. The sounds were wonderful. John was very thoughtful. Only wish the water heater was turned on for a hot shower, but I made do. It was nice having those accommodations on site! Thanks so much for the great stay!

Weekend Trip to SK campground

This spot had it all. The hookups were easy. The view relaxing and quiet. I enjoyed meeting and talking to the host Shay. She is kind and easy to live next to. I felt comfortable and welcomed there. We booked extra nights saw some deer and a hawk. Some lovely nature views while visiting the sights in Memphis.

This gated location is very private and safe. Campsite #1 felt a bit cluttered though because of the piles of landscaping materials surrounding the RV area (the host runs a landscaping company from that location). It worked great as a safe place to stay within Memphis but I would not recommend it if you’re looking for a quiet and scenic getaway.

Highly recommend Moon Lake farms host extremely accommodating going to bike packing trip and when I first got there it was raining he let me sit under the pole barn until it stopped and then I set my tent up at the lake extremely nice spot and you can even buy fresh farm eggs there

What a fantastic campsite! The site is very secluded and private (this was the best feature in my opinion). We were able to let the dogs roam free without worrying about them getting in trouble. The views of the farm from the platform are really nice. The bed and tent were comfortable. My son loved playing in the creek, riding the zip line, and sitting by the fire.

3 nights at Twin Lakes

We loved camping here in Site 1. Level site with full hookups right off a well marked beautiful hiking trail that does a loop to lake 1. We found lots of interesting fiungis, ferns, and wildflowers. Site is up on a hill so we could see the farm including the 3 lovely and friendly horses that trot up to you when you walk down to visit. Fished in lake 2 and caught plenty of bluegill and bass off a jig and a spoon. Gets nice and dark so the stars are crystal clear. Also very quiet—and we heard so many different bird calls including Whippoorwill, piliated woodpeckers, screech owls, and the songs of some dogs treeing a raccoon in the late evening. Was an amazing weekend—30 minutes to Oxford. Can’t say enough about the hosts who were so thoughtful and friendly. We know we will be back soon for more hiking and fishing!

6 nights at Oasis Homestead

I enjoyed my stay there. I think it's good for saving money if you just need a safe place to pitch your tent and aren't really going to hang out much at the campsite. It is a scenic livestock farm out in the northern Mississippi hill country. Dogs bark and roosters crow so it's a good idea to have ear plugs.

The host provided clear instructions to follow upon arrival to access the pasture for tent camping. It is probably 100 yard from a road making the noise level noticeable until around 10-11 pm. We were not greeted upon arrival by the host but they gave such detailed information that we found everything we needed within the hipcamp app.

What a fun spot! This beautiful campground is on over 300 acres with 2 fishing ponds and miles of off roasting dirt tracks. They had a loaner side by side and we hit the trails! It was our first time off roading, and we had an absolute blast!

I LOVED THIS PLACE!!! Anita and Lynn are the kindest hosts I’ve ever met! They were helpful and went above and beyond to make sure my daughter and I had a great time! I’ll be going back in August for The Watermelon Festival! Plan on staying with Anita and Lynn again. Lynn even asked us how WE thought they could improve. Just humble, lovely people!❤️❤️

Super Hosts!!!!!! Great dirt bike trails! Got to hear the roosters crow every morning. Trees, trees, trees! Full hookup sites worked well. Easy access. Did I say super hosts!

We had a great stay at Twin Lakes campground! Lynn & his wife Anita were very welcoming & friendly. Full hookup's is always great. We got to explore the vast SCCA sanctioned ATV trails and the 2 lakes - so fun! We highly recommend Twin Lakes!

Feels like the country but Walmart and a laundry mat are only 5 minutes away. 30 and 50 amp plugs available for 1 rv, sewer, water and wifi all included. The tiny home is $85 a night, the rv/camping spot is $45 a night. 😀

Learn more about this land: There are a lot of soft people in the world today, if you're one of those people this isn't the place for you. In the spring and summer the property can become quite overgrown. Some people have had difficulty accessing the inner part of the property that is pretty well cleared and secluded. I happen to like it that way. A quarter acre, just a stone's throw from Graceland. The property itself doesn't provide much more than a place to park, but you can literally walk to Graceland and Beale Street is only about a 15 minute drive or Uber ride. My friend has parked his 5 window skoolie with a 15 foot utility trailer without any issues. There's no access to the shipping container on the property, but you're welcome to set out a few chairs and bbq on the back side of the property as long as you're careful about fires. There are no fire rings, toilets, or running water; and certainly no power. You're welcome to park or tent camp but understand that this property is very primitive. If you're looking for luxury there are some amazing properties in the area listed right here on HipCamp. Please have a great stay and message with any questions.
