Cabin One
What an awesome stay!!!!
This site is an absolute dream!!! We stayed in the cabin, which had so many thoughtful supplies and amenities, including cookware, cooking appliances, a sink, lantern, coffee set up (even creamer, sugar, and coffee, for those who are forgetful), & much more.
The cabin itself is great - rustic, charming, yet comfortable. However, the surrounding land was even better. The pond is a short walk from the cabin's front door, and the fire pit with adjacent picnic table an even shorter one. There are even paddle boats provided!
The RV sites were empty while we were there, so we had the land all to ourselves, which was awesome. However, the sites are far enough from each other that even when fully booked, I'm sure everything would feel private anyway.
Randy was a really great host. We weren't able to meet, but he was extremely responsive and kind via the Hipcamp messages.
NOTE: the bathroom is in a separate structure from the cabin itself, just a short walk away. It's more a rustic but private hold-in-ground situation, which was totally comfy for us. A nighttime bathroom visitor may want to grab the lantern or have a flashlight handy for the short walk (inside the bathroom there's a motion sensor light which is super helpful).
Overall, Randy has an awesome, special place that he's generously opening up to Hipcampers! Doing a full land booking would probably be a super fun time (friend group, family reunion, etc), and worth asking Randy about!
