Site 7 - Woodland Escape Rv Electric Camping
July stay
Stopped on trip from Wisconsin. Our stay was great. Only issue was difficulty navigating throughout the property. Additional signage for ponds and no through access on trails would be beneficial. The property was accessible and clean. Staff were polite and helpful. Shower was great. There was some bug that as soon as the sun set would begin their noise that was extremely loud and overbearing. Thankfully neighboring sites were empty as we had to talk louder than normal as a result. Overall great experience.

Primitive Camping & Swimming
We go camping every year for the 4th of July to escape the fireworks for our fur babies. I found Theresa’s Property here on Hip Camp and almost immediately knew we were staying here. We camped at Site 3 and can’t wait to come back again next year. She is so sweet, and came over to visit and bring us our eggs and fire wood we ordered after we got set up and settled. The property is beautiful and the ponds are so relaxing to sit by especially at night m, while you oh listen to them come alive with frogs and other animals. Our site was very clean, we were able to walk to the hot showers and wash our dishes at the cute community center she built. You’re surrounded by corn fields, trees and fire flys, it’s absolutely beautiful. We also chose it because the location is fantastic!! So many gorgeous water falls in the area and places to swim and hike. Highly recommend taking a cooler for a swim to Little River Canyon Falls and also to the other l big and beautiful, Desoto Falls. I can’t recommend camping here at Theresa’s enough, she is so kind, made it very easy and her primitive camping is just what we needed and love! 10/10 Vacation. Thank you again for having us Theresa. See you next year!!

amazing week!
how can i describe our week staying at woodybrooke? the word incredible does not do it justice! we brought our 2024 t@b 320 s with a 10x10 pop up for a cooking/ porch area. theresa was an AMAZING hostess & checked in on us daily & responded to messages promptly. my GF & I had a private RV spot just to ourselves for 95% of our stay (site 6) for the week of 4th of July til Sunday. who needs entertainment when we went fishing every afternoon & had plenty of shade in our spot near the compost outhouse. one rainy morning didn't dampen our spirits, we chilled inside for the rain to pass & hit the ponds to fish directly after. just sitting outside day, afternoon, night in this peaceful atmosphere was romantic & recharging. the community center was a nice touch when I didn't want to use all the water in the RV to clean dishes, the view at night was splendid, & when theresa says it's spring water tapped, you better believe it was the best to fill up jugs during this hot month. the outdoor shower was a blessing since we converted our shower/restroom into a closet. i love how theresa cares for her clients & how she genuinely seeks feedback on how things could be better. . . .they cant, we were that impressed & will definitely be back in the fall, winter, spring, anytime. please be mindful of the host & other campers, pick up your trash! it is not the responsibility of the host to clean up after you for being lazy. definitely at the top of our 'to return on multiple occasions' list.

We had a blast the whole time. The size of the site on top of the pond and the view was perfect.

Beauty and peace.
The below review "read carefully", is not my experience at all. I've came and gone twice now and the ponds were nice and clean and full of fish. Dogs do not randomly roam. They are friendly when the get out to stretch their paws. The cat on the property isnt an issue and will leave when told. My experience here is and will remain a blessing. God and peace is what I feel when there. Theresa and her family are super people and go out of their way to accommodate all guests. If your there to fish or just to explore and relax, you'll have it made. I have traveled all over for the Army and work and have stayed in many camps. This one is by far the best. It's primitive (well maintained outhouse, and the coolest Flintstone shower ever), and both suit your needs if your a camper. If your a glamper there are power sites. If you need or expect more...... You should go on to koa. We will be back every second I can escape the Chattanooga jungle.
