The land is beautiful, bathrooms are clean, shower is lovely and Danny is warm, friendly, responsive and helpful. There is a bit of road noise if you’re sensitive like me. Overall, a great place to camp.

There were plenty of great spots to choose from! The picnic tables were clean and sturdy, and the fire pits were surrounded by large rocks—perfect for setting hot skillets on. The view was absolutely beautiful! The restroom, water, and shower were all in good working order. One of my favorite parts was showering under the stars in the outdoor shower—it was such a unique experience. There’s a sturdy bench, large rocks to stand on, and a big two-by-four to hang your clothes, towel, and shower essentials on. Just a heads-up: if someone is staying at the top, the shower area isn’t completely private. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming. I’ll definitely be coming back!

He was very friendly and helpful and the property was great. There were many trails to explore the area and the scenery was awesome. The gorge was very beautiful and nice to get wet in. The sites were very private and nicely done. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to hike and camp.

So many different paths around the camping area to explore and many tucked away sites. There was some road noise, but still felt very isolated. Appreciated the easy access to fire wood. The road getting up to our site was a bit bumpy for my low car, but there is a lower parking area if I didn't insist on parking at camp. Overall, great trip and time!

Our campsite felt extremely private. There was a beautiful view of the mountains. It was the perfect way to get away and relax. Zed greeted us when we got there and gave us a tour of the grounds, and he made us feel extremely welcomed. I've done a lot of camping, and this is definitely one of my favorite spots now. We will be back!

Dark Hollow was a beautiful spot, amazing views, and lots of great trails to explore. It was also really cool being able to hear the lions from the animal sanctuary. She said yes by the way, thanks so much Danny.

Really nice campsite with a fun hike to a creek with waterfalls. My son and I had a blast playing in the water during the day, and enjoyed some really nice views at night.

We had a great stay at Danny’s land! We booked day of on a rainy day and Danny still met us to give us a tour and show us which spot he thought would be best suited for the on-again-off-again rain we were having. Pitched our tent during a rain break and had the most peaceful nights sleep in the rain at The Ledge campsite. We purchased the wood for the fire not knowing whether it’d be dry enough to use. The covering over the wood actually kept the wood dry enough that we were able to get a fire going in both the evening and the morning. Beautiful land, well separated campsites.

Host was absolutely 10/10, highly recommend - Zed was super friendly and an absolute hoot of a human to chat with.

My family and I had a great stay at this camp. We had the larger site at the top of the hill. It was clean, organized, and had nice amenities I don't normally have while tent camping. On site water, outhouse, and solar shower. The fire rings were great and everything was really well maintained. The hike down to see the creek was really pleasant. Highly recommend and definitely will be back!

My pup and I really enjoyed our camping trip! Beautiful trails, amazing outdoor shower, and the views are amazing! Hearing the lions & tigers at the near by sanctuary was a treat ! I am looking forward to going back !

The camp sites here are well cared for and set up really nice. I woke up and hiked down the infinity loop trail, the vegetation is beautiful. The hike had challenging inclines and it feels good. I was alone and felt very safe here. If you need a breather in a beautiful spot with a potty and a shower I cannot say enough good things about this gem of a campsite :) I will be back.

Fantastic spot! The camping areas are very well laid out and was definitely well cared for. Nice picnic tables, well maintained composting privy, we didn’t use the outdoor shower but were very impressed that it was available for us. We arrived in the evening just before a rain storm so unfortunately we didn’t hike the property. Danny was a great host. He met us onsite and suggested the best spot for our trailer. He definitely takes pride in his work and it shows. The location was super convenient. “The Diner” is just minutes away- we stopped for breakfast on our way out of town. Absolutely we recommend this host and property. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

This place is so lovely, I could stay here forever. There are beautiful trails, a nice hot outdoor shower, a really cool privy in the woods on a platform.. talk about a throne! The dark skies allow you to see all the stars. You hear the tigers and lions at the wildlife preserve...you feel very much like you have stepped back in time. I enjoyed the privacy and views of The Ledge site. You can hear the water from there. I will come back here again soon. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful piece of nature with us.
Danny my hope is that all your future guests value your space as much as I did, and I hope they will be good stewards of the special land you have.

Tent camping was amazing. Stayed at the Eagle Point site and the full moon illuminated the whole property beautifully. Propane heated outdoor shower was a really nice amenity and parking was super convenient. Definitely will be coming back to this spot!

It was a great spot with a great view. We camped in tents with our three kids. The hike down to the stream was perfect. The water was excellent at the bottom of the trail at the swimming hole. I would highly recommend booking a site here.

Great spot with nice amenities and a wonderful view. Owner was extremely kind and helpful. The road is nearby, but seldom travelled so not an issue to me. Next time I would like to explore more of the trail which looked very nice.
