Camp Travelhick is located off an easy on/off main road. A small private driveway leads to an automatic 20' wide secure, coded gate.
The camp has two level camping sites. Site 1 is a large 40x62 cement site that can accommodate larger campers/motorhomes with full hookups (electric, water, & sewer). Site 2 is a smaller packed gravel site which is 16x32 with electric and water. Both sites have 50/30/amp connections. For your convenience, there is an additional dump station on the property.
Our camping area offers a covered pavilion with two picnic tables, lighting, fans, and a charcoal grill. There is also has an outdoor fire pit for those cold nights or for s’mores! The camping area is about 1.3 acres fully fenced in so pet owners can allow their pets run around and have some secure space without having to worry about a leash.
Bring your ATV's or side by sides! The back side of the property has almost 50 acres of ATV and walking trails. A spring fed private 1.5 acre stocked pond with a covered and lighted boat/fishing dock is also located on the property. Covered fishing dock has benches for getting out of the sun and relaxing.
Property is less than 15 minutes from a Walmart, Lake Eufaula, many chain/local restaurants, parks, and museums.
Property owner is not on site, but is just a phone call/text away.

Weekend Trip to Parksland Retreat
My husband and I are busy and exhausted and on top of that, we have been through some major life changes. This has led to a rough patch in our relationship. The only choice we had the weekend we went was to cancel all plans and just exist in nature. We didn’t have time or patience to work for it either. I didn’t want to set up a tent and I didn’t want to be in a house or a hotel. The sunrise cabin at Parksland was exactly what I personally needed. We got to be completely free with our bodies and minds. Which led to freedom of conversation between us. The windows and glass doors allow you to zone out and watch the birds fly and the trees sway. It is particularly charming in the rain. I am so grateful that I live so close to heaven. The sauna and swimming hole are added benefits. Cherries on top. If you need SERENITY this is your place but don’t mistake that word for boring. I had the most mind opening experience here!
Want to add, I have tent camped here as well and no matter how you do it, just do it.

This was a beautiful and tranquil spot. Lush green and waterfront area, gracious hosts and the cabin was perfect to relax and take a break from ‘busy life’. Larry and Sheila were more than accommodating. The cabin was perfectly stocked and spotless upon arrival. I enjoyed my time so much, I extended another week! Thanks Larry and Sheila. Tent site 1 was very private and quiet - exactly what we were looking for! The bathrooms are up a little gravel hill and are closer to all the other sites than this one, but the walk was just fine for us. Bathrooms were very clean and cute and even had some strategically placed screws in the walls to use as hooks for our stuff.

We had an absolute great time!!!! Richard was quick to answer when we had an issue with the main gate. It was nice and secluded along the Styx River. We stayed a best camping spot. Even though it was partially raining off and on we were able to stay dry under our huge tarp. Watched the river rise 3 to 4 feet between Friday and Monday. Made life long friends with our neighbors. And planning trips with them to come back. My only complaint was the briars down by peddle beach camp site. We will be back to make more memories!!!!!!

Beautiful property!! Glamping tents were cozy and the ac ran very very good! Bathrooms were really nice and clean. We had an amazing trip and will definitely be back. Was so happy to be able to use the canoe for free and even caught 6 bass in just an hour or so! Best campsite ever.

Dark Hollow is an amazing place! The sites are well maintained and several have phenomenal views. There is plenty of space between sites and plenty of privacy. I stayed in The Ledge site and it was perfect for me. While it rained each day during my stay, it cleared enough fo me to check out the trail they have on property. It is a fairly rugged trail of switchbacks down into the bottom and it continues across the creek and up the opposite hillside. All in all, despite the rain this was an excellent trip! I have to say that this is one of, if not the best camp here. I highly recommend checking out Dark Hollow!

This retreat was sooooo magical! Dustin has created such a warm, welcoming, inclusive environment. We felt at peace and very safe.
We stayed at P2 Creek Bend. It was not nearly as bad as some the reviews made it out to be. But then again, my partner and I are very active and in pretty good athletic shape. We loved this spot because it was really big we had the Creek to play in with our pups and had it lull us to sleep at night. The Creek is crystal clear, super clean and very refreshing on a hot day. First time hiking naked! We never wanna hike any other way!

We camped at p3 creek side the furthest away site possible from everyone the hike is an quad burner but we love hiking so it was the icing on top for us the site itself really isn’t big enough for anything bigger than a 8 person tent and your not gonna pack heavy for this one but once you get there boy is it worth it an oasis in itself plus the 2 mile trail it could use some cleaning up here and there but I imagine it’s hard keeping the trail clean with all the other things needed to upkeep the owners homestead dusty seemed like a busy man but the welcome was warm and explained where everything was and how to use the showers already planning our next adventure here !

Camping at Bohamia was sooo relaxing. Leigh was very good at checking in on me even before I arrived. From the initial greeting, I felt very welcomed. I was lucky enough to have the pond site all to myself. It was a great place to test out my new tent.
The bath house was very clean. But be careful, the showers can be WAY too relaxing. So much that I forgot my toiletries bag. Haha! But Leigh was kind enough to go out of her way and mail it back to me. Thank you again!!
Super relaxing stay.
Oh, and AT&T has great service there.
