Please join us at the land of Bohamia for air conditioned glamping with queen size beds and private decks, primitive camping, and RV spots with power and water. Bohamia has an upscale bathhouse with showers at the welcome center area as well as portalets stationed near campsites at the pond (0.4 miles from welcome center) Premium RV spots now available with 30 or 50 amp hookups and water. Waste station conveniently located upon exit from the property. Glamp, RV or camp amidst the natural beauty of our 268 acre property; we have open fields, shady spots beneath the hardwoods and pines, and even a five acre pond with plenty of fish if you’d prefer to wake up to a water view or take a morning swim. With miles of trails on our property, easy access to the 392,000 acre Talladega National Forest, and less than ten miles from the Pinhoti trail, you’ll never run out of beautiful places to explore. Be sure to save some time to enjoy the boulder strewn creek just a short walk from our welcome center - it’s a must see! Other local attractions are also within reach with the Top Trails ATV park and the Talladega Marksmanship Park only seven miles away.

Absolutely beautiful spot. I had a very relaxing couple of days by the pond. Beautiful Alabama backdrop. Leigh was a great host. I recommend highly!

Glamping with Isaac and Tim
Glamping here was great, very peaceful with great views, hiking, and swimming spots at the falls as well as a pond to canoe in or paddle boat around in. Lots of outlets as well and amazing A/C. The property was immaculate and the facilities were Grade A! We booked on a Tuesday and had the entire place to ourselves. Leigh was so awesome and attentive when we ordered wood and ice she had it there in minutes. We can not wait to return!

Can’t wait to return to Bohamia!
I had such an incredible weekend at Bohamia! This was my first HipCamp experience and if they are all like this, I’m never going back to state parks. From the excellent communication beforehand to the camp store delivery, the nicest and cleanest bathrooms (and port-a-potty), and a beautiful campsite, it was all five stars. My pups and I loved swimming in the ponds and creek to cool off and there are so many trails to explore. I will definitely be back!

A great place
What a wonderful place! Curry was so helpful and supportive. Anything you need, you have help. Swimming in the lake is divine. Floaties and a paddle boat make it extra fun. Bathhouse is nice!!! Keep in mind the bathhouse is a little bit of a trek from the primitive campsites. I will be back! Thank you
