the property was nice and i was thankful for a hot shower after many cold ones, being on the road.
upon arrival my doggo and the farm dog instantly hit it off, so i let them roam around together off leash. after reading the rules i believed this was okay because the rule says “pets kept on leash unless otherwise trained”. so in my brain, i read that as, if your doggo is not trained to come upon command they should be on a leash. my doggo is trained and came when i called him. even still, i was told by a worker that my dog needs to be kept on a leash at *all times* because they have a “strict rule” regarding that. i was confused because of the way their pet rule was written on hipcamp but i was told that in the past there have been dogs who’ve attacked their goats so they don’t allow any dogs off leash.
if your coming with a doggo i would keep this in mind lol. even though the rule states “..unless otherwise trained”, keep your pet on the leash *at all times*, regardless of what the clause states.
other than the pet thing confusing me, the camp was, indeed, 15 minutes from downtown chattanooga, close to ruby falls, and overlook mountain. the city was a beautiful place to explore!

Fun place to hang out and check out the animals. Campsite felt safe and charming. Can be loud at night with the trains and animals, but we had no issues sleeping here and would go again if we were staying in the area

Site 2 was great. There were multiple places to camp, pre-setup fire pits and two shelters. Access into Site 2 was very easy and I even had a big ole white dog that meet me at my car. Great site!

We liked the camp site (2), but the showers need work. One shower didn’t work at all and the second had a door about off its hinges. The area was somewhat noisy from a train close by. Overall it was a good and offered beautiful views, we would stay there again.

The area is spacious and shaded. The farm is very pretty and the farm hands are wonderful at teaching my young daughter about the animals. We have been several times in prior years and will continue to visit every chance we can.

The whole experience was lovely! We were completely alone on a great piece of land and it was magical. We got to see lots of wildlife and enjoy the farm views. We did hear the trains at night but if you bring ear plugs you’ll be just fine!

Safe area, close to the city. They weren’t joking about the trains, woke up every other hour throughout the night. Toilets were clean, showers were okay. Overall clean and safe experience to stay the night.

This was my first ever Hipcamp experience so I don't really know how it compares. I'll say it was easy to find, a comfortable spot, and I met someone the day we left at their store and she was very friendly. They were very hands off and allowed us to just show up and go do our thing. As others have stated, you definitely notice the trains. Trains seem to be a love or hate sort of a thing. Very beautiful piece of land though and great facilities.
We tent camped with the kids and a dog.

I loved this space! Plumbed bathrooms and outdoor shower available. Felt very safe as a solo female camper (I have a built out in my SUV). Beautiful grounds and access to fresh produce.

Farm Tiny Home #1 - 15 min to Chatt
Love love loved this accommodation stayed in small home #1 it was so nicely decorated and comfy ! Had everything you need including kitchenette… woke up to the most beautiful views of a mountain range and well maintained farm with cows horses and chickens and can’t forget the cute dog that’s will give you the warmest welcome … staff was very friendly was able to buy some honey they make on site for a reasonable price …. Would highly recommend

Where do I start... let's start with the fact that the so called pond to go fishing and swimming is unreachable or you have to be a real dare devil to get up there... they say check in is at 4 but come any time before 8 so that someone can help settle you in... thats a lie was there at 4:05 and there was no one there to let us know anything... wanted to buy some farm fresh food sign at the entrance says open till 6 again there at 4:05 and padlock on the door and when you call you get an answering machine that nobody calls you back from. So be ready to make a few trips to Walmart if you need anything including firewood that was under lock and key and $5 that I would have gladly paid for if anyone would have picked up the phone but of course it probably wouldn't have been any good cause the wood was WET... so now that you went and got your food charcoal and wood from Walmart let's use the BBQ... nope wasn't cleaned out from the last guest ok ill clean it take off foil to find the grates all rusted and the hinge broken so couldn't use it..... okay fine ill just cook some hotdogs on a stick with my 5 year old daughter on her birthday nope fire pit is full of old garbage and dirt... but started a fire anyway daughter ended up throwing up the next morning from the filth coming out that fire pit and we left early... needless to say I sent a message and was told it was my fault for not calling and asking for help while I was there. I DID CALL NO ONE ANSWERED OR CALLED BACK.

Farm Tiny Home #1 - 15 min to Chatt
We loved tiny home #1! Quail Run Farm was so beautiful and the view of Lookout mountain is amazing. It was a sort drive to Rock City, Ruby Falls and downtown Chattanooga. Everyone on the farm was so helpful. I’d also recommend shopping the farms market! Everything we bought from them was delicious.

This little Farm was so cute and everything was set up so nicely. I will totally stay here in the future maybe when the weather is warmer or in one of the tiny houses rather than a tent. Very much recommended!!

staying on the farm its a beautiful place! and I would love e to stay there again. thanks for having me.
it was my first time camping, on the second night I heard foot steps around the tent. But the big white Dog can't remember is name was barking it sounded like he was close by the tent but I felt safe because when he started barking the foot steps I heard outside my tent was gone, good boy chasing of what ever was outside my tent. Joseph you have a beautiful place and I will definitely stay there again. also thank you for all the quick responses when I had a question one love.

Super cute house, fit our group nicely! Our dogs loved playing outside with the farm’s Pyrenees! Firewood was prepared for you which made it super easy to have a fire and the morning views were gorgeous! I’d recommend for people who want a nice peaceful getaway! P.S. their honey was delicious!

The farm was easily accessed, and staff were super friendly! We were pretty tired from the drive& grabbed a spot fairly close to the bathrooms (very clean& convenient.) Only downside was the train noise. Next time i'd look for a quieter site.

We had a great time ! We didn’t realize this is a real life farm with hundreds of animals you visit! Great if you want to see how to run a farm or one works.
Fun for kids with activities and animals to play with.
It great talking to those who work on the farm. They were very helpful and full of knowledge.
Yes, there are trains that come at night, but it’s part of the experience and you’ll sleep through it the second night 😆
Camp fire available with pokers for marshmallows (you bring) and they even gave us a coffee maker to use.

While severe weather (tornadoes in Kansas) prevented us from staying at Farm Camp as scheduled, Joseph was very easy to communicate with. The property looks beautiful and we hope to be able to stay at another time in the spring.

Quail Run Farm is a fantastic spot just outside of Chattanooga. My wife, little one, and I really enjoyed our time truck camping here. The staff made sure we were well taken care of, and we even got to bring home some farm-raised meats. Chad and Joseph were both great—Chad was friendly and welcoming, and Joseph was very responsive. The amenities are convenient, with easy access to toilets and a warm shower. Their Great Pyrenees was well-behaved, happily roaming the area. They also provided a fire stove with plenty of chopped wood, which made our evenings nice and cozy. We’ll definitely be coming back with friends and family! Just watch out for a bit of cow poop here and there—it’s part of the farm experience. And the ducks and horses were cool. My son loved them. P.s. there’s a yellow extension chord by the showers if you need to charge your phone in the event your powerpack dies.

Great farm location. We had plenty of camping locations to choose from on the farm. There were “outhouses” with working toilets and running water sink with soap for handwashing. The outdoor showers were a great touch! (Water does get hot!) you are surrounded by farm animals (which we loved). Our 2 dogs had a great adventure! Would definitely stay here again! Or even check out the yurt of tiny houses on the property.
