Lakeside Getaway is a seasonal peninsula on Douglas Lake of primitive camping sites in historic Dandridge, Tn just 30 min from Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area. Come enjoy your boat, jet ski, or kayaks from our 75 foot boat dock and new concrete boat ramp for launching. Our pavilion is a nice commons area with a charcoal stove and can be reserved for private parties. We rent out Kayaks to parties or individuals. Our quite cove is about 2 miles long and very secluded... Great for Kayaking!

Quarter Spring Farm is located in Liberty, TN on the western edge of the Cumberland Plateau. It comprises 63 acres of wooded ridges and hollows with exceptional hiking and distinct landscape features. Smith Fork Creek, which feeds Center Hill Lake, is visible from the campsite. Quarter Spring Farm’s history is murky and still being discovered. The house is over 100 years old. There are stone property walls that may predate the civil war. We believe this site was a Mississippian period settlement because of the large amount of artifacts we have found.
Please note: there is no electricity at the dome. There will be a battery with a light and the option to charge your phone. There is no parking at the dome. The walk is uphill and takes about 5 minutes or so. This is still a tent, the dome is not insulated and is not 100% sealed. Bugs do get inside from time to time. I will also provide you with water for cleaning and at least a gallon to drink. Just let me know if you need more. If you can get here before it gets dark, that is the best. If you can’t, that’s ok, we’ll just be hiking in the dark. Luckily I know my way around pretty good.

My sons and I had an awesome winter weekend camp out at the farm! The dome was really cozy and Heather made sure we had everything we needed. We felt right at home from the moment we parked our car until we said our goodbyes on Sunday morning. The property was perfect for exploring during the day and it was quite peaceful at night. The farm animals, especially the goats, were really cool. We even got to be there to welcome a new baby goat into the world! 10/10 recommend this place!

Very unique camping experience with all the anemities you need. It's cozy, fun, and had a great morning sunrise view. Waking up each morning to the sun popping up between the trees was awesome. The outdoor area and patio over looking the small pond is relaxing as well. And close to Big South Fork, which was a gorgeous hike was a bonus as well.

3 nights at Glamping Domes & A-Frame
This place is absolutely beautiful. Waking up to a sunrise over Appalachia is worth it on its own. The dome is well maintained, clean, and the area is super quiet and safe. It's an amazing place to relax in the hot tub and stargaze, play some games at the outdoor table, or just sit by the fire pit to talk and enjoy the scenery. There are two fire pits - a private metal one on the deck and a large communal area between the domes. There's also hiking and walking trails a short drive away in the Smokies (like Mouse Creek Falls).
Ravi is super friendly and responsive to messages. We met him on our way out when he came up to do maintenance. He takes good care of this place.
There are a few turns that are hard to see, so definitely arrive when it's daylight. If you use Waze, keep going up and around after it thinks you've "arrived".

I just wish we knew how many stairs there were and would’ve planned accordingly! Other than the stairs (which really wasn’t an issue) it was the best stay I’ve had in a very very long time. Very nice site very nice view comfortable stay and the hospitality was top tier definitely will be bringing my kids back next year before school start. They definitely enjoyed waking up to animals outside the tent.

Weekend Trip to Quarter Spring Farm
Heather’s land is gorgeous. Moderate hiking up to the Dome, but she provided a wagon to carry our stuff up and down, and an ATV that she packed up with the heavy stuff and drove, which made the hike more enjoyable. The Dome is fixed with windows facing the west so midday onward is very hot inside, late July. She has sturdy patio furniture to sunbathe and enjoy the deck, as well as a few camping chairs to move about with. Small fire pit with loose stones and a grate to cook over the fire with. We did bring our own propane cooktop for faster cooking which made the fire pit more for marshmallow roasting and enjoying. It was nice to sleep in a real bed off the ground, yet less glamping than an RV due to a small compost toilet and no shower. The goats roam up and down around the Dome several times a day and that was a super unique and cool experience!
On day 2, Heather gave us a goat milk soap making class in her little shop and that was awesome! She shows you the quantities of each ingredient and lets you choose your own scent and color and you get to take home your own handmade soap to cut up and use! The whole experience was delightful. Heather is a great host and honors your time while offering many add ons like a battery, firewood, towels, sheets, cold water, etc. Highly recommend for those that want to camp but don’t want to sleep on the ground and do the whole camp from scratch. :)

2 nights at Glamping Domes & A-Frame
We loved our stay at Contrast Cove! This was our anniversary getaway, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The views were absolutely stunning — especially from the private deck where we could just relax and soak in the beauty of the mountains. At night, it was peaceful and quiet, with nothing but the sounds of nature around us and the stars in the sky.
The dome itself was incredible. The bed was massive and super soft, and the whole space stayed cool — which was a lifesaver on a hot summer day. Every amenity worked flawlessly: the sink, shower, toilet, and air conditioning were all clean and functional. The bathroom was also well-stocked and well-maintained.
While the hot tub didn’t get very hot (more lukewarm than anything), everything else made up for that tenfold. Honestly, we’d give the experience a 10 out of 10 — and would absolutely come back in the future.
Special thanks to Ravi, who was an amazing host. He made us feel safe, welcome, and taken care of the whole time.
🌙 Pro Tip: Do not try to arrive at night. The road up the mountain is pitch black with no guard rails — definitely better to get there during daylight for a safer trip.

Weekend Trip to Glamping Wild
What a lovely quiet spot for a first Geodome experience with my wife. We were taking a long weekend trip to celebrate the anniversary of our First Date (40 years ago on the exact date of LiveAid, so good thing it wasn't a wasted date😁). This was a great Geodome with everything you could want and all of it was like the pictures.
What was nice was not being in a Tourist Trap City, just a quiet, peaceful place to relax. There were things to do for a change of pace right at the sites. The last 3 miles getting there is a very curvy narrow road, which I only got to have fun on once; I scared my wife. We definitely would go back to relax.

Weekend Trip to Glamping Wild
We had such a wonderful time — geodomes were gorgeous, the hillside was so very peaceful, and from river side walks, to on-site hikes, there was always an opportunity to put down the phone and just spend some time outside. Staying here felt like a sigh of relief and we can’t wait to come back!
