Welcome to "Helluva View" - the glamping bell tent with a "Helluva-view!" Nestled on a 20 x 20 deck, overlooking the river and Smoky Mtns. This 200sqft canvas tent comes complete with a plush queen bed and a cozy seating area surrounded by windows, you'll feel like you're sleeping in the great outdoors (minus the critters). Cozy up with a good book or challenge your loved one to a card game showdown. Wash away your worries in your private bathhouse, complete with an outdoor shower ( solar bag shower) just 10 feet away from your cozy cabin. Say goodbye to cramped communal bathrooms and hello to the great outdoors. An indoor kitchen steps away has a 2 burner campstove, dishes, basic spices, and 5 gallons of water with electric pump for washing up. But let's talk about the real star of the show - the great outdoors! Lounge in the hammock, roast marshmallows in the firepit while star-gazing, or gather 'round the picnic table for a good ol' fashioned cookout. Forget about the tedious packing list for your camping trip! We've got you covered. The Shroom Room isn’t your typical cabin—and that’s exactly the point. Tucked high in the woods, this one-of-a-kind geodesic hideaway has a queen bed beneath the soaring dome and panoramic windows framing the forest, river and distant Smoky Mountains. It’s cozy, a little wild and just unusual enough to feel like you’ve found somewhere special. Step outside and the experience continues. The large deck has a front-row seat to mountain sunsets, a hammock waits for lazy afternoons, and the firepit is ready for dinner beneath the stars. Your private bathhouse and hot outdoor shower come with a view of their own. Wander farther and you’ll find onsite hiking trails and river access, with kayaks available to rent when you’re ready to get on the water. Inside, you’ll have what you need to settle in: a kitchenette with a two-burner camp stove, dishes, utensils, basic cooking supplies and a 48-qt cooler. The firepit has a cooking grate, too, if dinner over the fire sounds better. Think of it as the best parts of camping—the view, the fire, the outdoor shower, the sounds of the woods and waking up somewhere wild—only a little softer around the edges. The Shroom Room is part of GlampVentures, our collection of 4 thoughtfully unique, adults-only stays created for experiencing East Tennessee a little differently. Come for somewhere different and proof that the best getaways have a little fun-gi in them. 🍄 Eventually, you might decide to leave that view behind for a while. It’s a short walk down, but fair warning—the hike back up is a little spicy (steep)! 🛶 Kayaking Sit-on-top Kayak rentals are available for $10 each. Be mindful of your use, and we’ll make sure you’re refreshed with a new supply each day. 🚙 Getting here is part of the adventure The final stretch to The Shroom Room is a short mountain road that likes a little ground clearance. SUVs, trucks and similar vehicles do best, with AWD/4WD recommended when things get wet. If your vehicle isn’t up for it, we’ve got you. Park in the main lot and we’ll shuttle you and your gear in our 4-door Jeep, no worries! 🌲 Expect some wild neighbors You’re staying in the woods, which means squirrels don’t respect property lines, birds don’t observe quiet hours and the occasional bug may forget it wasn’t invited. It’s all part of staying this close to nature. The Shroom Room is comfortable, intentionally simple and designed to keep you connected to everything outside those panoramic windows. Somewhere between sunrise and starlight, the rest of the world starts to feel a little farther away.

Our stay at this mountain glamping tent was absolutely incredible! The setting was peaceful and secluded, surrounded by stunning views of the mountains and fresh, crisp air. The tent itself was beautifully set up…… cozy, clean, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The best part was the host, wonderfully responsive, kind, and attentive to every detail. They made sure we had clear directions, checked in to ensure we were comfortable, and went above and beyond to make our stay special. If you’re looking for the perfect mix of nature, comfort, and warm hospitality, this is the place. We left completely relaxed and can’t wait to come back!

Very nice and helpful owners. The campsite was awesome. Everything was as stated on the website. Just great. We seen tons of wildlife. Raccoons, deer, tree frogs, lizards, and even a black bear on a nature walk. So awesome. Book your trip today.

The A frame cabin at Anthony and Kristins was the perfect get away! Spent the long weekend here and had a great time relaxing by the fire and visiting the sites around TN. Such a thought out space with helpful and attentive hosts. Definitely recommend!

The location is a pretty drive to get to then Kristin is wonderfully helpful leading you to your site. While it requires four-wheel-drive, this was fun for me in my truck! But I know anyone who gets a ride with Kristin will enjoy it just as much! The views, the hikes, the exploring, the surrounding towns… Everything about this place is perfect. They really thought of everything for guests! I miss waking up to that view like crazy!!!

5/5! We actually ended up staying in the Lady A cabin and we really enjoyed our time there. They had everything you could possibly need available to us. You can buy firewood on site, running water, camp stove, cookware, dishes, extra blankets, charging stations for your devices, space heater, and a really cute and cozy vibe. Kristin was so kind and friendly! She even drove us and our stuff up to the cabin since my car couldn’t have made it up. We even had service up there (even though we told everyone we didn’t lol). The hikes and views were beautiful and our campsite was peaceful. Everything was easy and relaxing. We hope to return in the summer!

It was phenomenal staying at this site! Anthony and Kristin were so accommodating and had anything we could ever need (solar powered fans, binoculars, etc.). The views were stunning and it was so relaxing to unplug and spend time in nature. My roommate and I are 100% planning to come back!

We booked this tent last minute and Kristin was so nice in getting it ready for us and making sure we had everything we needed. Two big storms blew through during our stay, but we were perfectly cozy and dry in the tent. It was plenty spacious and we slept great especially with the rain at night. The set up is perfect and we loved sitting out in the evenings and enjoying the view of the river as the sunset. Was a perfect two night getaway and we’d love to come back!

Helluva view does not describe how beautiful this site was. Very peaceful, private, and quiet. The sound of the river at night was like a lullaby. Anthony and Kristin were extremely nice and welcoming....would help with anything you need. Didnt want to leave....but will definitely be back. Awesome trip and fabulous hosts.

Awesome Birthday Getaway!

Our 2 nights in Lady A were AMAZING. This was a surprise birthday trip for my partner and it was the perfect getaway. When we arrived Anthony and Kristin gave us a tour and the run-down of their property. The first night there was a thunderstorm and watching it through the window was SO cool. I cannot recommend this place enough.

This was just what we were looking for. You can see the amount of work that was put into the A-Frame site. Very comfortable and secluded. Amenities all present and some extras. Walk to the lookout was nice and the view even better. Anthony and Kristin were very responsive and informative. Would definitely like to visit again.

If I could give more than five stars I would. This off grid camping trip was everything we needed for a getaway retreat and more. Anthony and Kristin were above and beyond accommodating, the A frame is .5 miles from the river spot, and .5 mile from their “Hell of a View” lookout spot. Would definitely recommend over any Airbnb or Vrbo any day. No need to leave the campsite, you have everything you need here. We had a screech owl visit our campsite at night when we were at the fire pit!
