It was okay
Overall we had a good vacation. The view was great. Unfortunately the dome and deck area could use some maintenance. The stools on the porch were rusty and the deck had black mold growing on the railings and also around the dome itself. Inside the dome it smelled strongly of mold and the flooring was warped and coming up and it looked like they just tried to cover it up with a rug. We would have liked to get some dark sky views but there were automatic lights flashing and changing colors as soon as it was dark around the firepit and also lights around the deck of the other 2 rentals. Our lights weren't functional though. Speaking of the firepit its shared between all the rentals which we didn't notice being mentioned. The driveway to the rental is not for just any vehicle. It is steep, rough and rutted. That didn't particularly bother us though as we were in a 4x4 truck however it should have been noted in the listing but it only mentioned needing an all wheel drive vehicle if the weather was bad. It is also a very narrow road (think one lane with very little room to pull off) with 2 way traffic so you do get into some interesting situations dealing with that.

My family had a wonderful time staying at the A-Frame cabin. The layout was great for our family if 5, with a full bedroom plus an upstairs with 2 full mattresses. The living room couch converted to a pull out couch which was nice too. The kitchen was fully functional with stove top, microwave, fridge and dishwasher and the grill outside was great. The views from the deck are amazing and even when we had a bit of rain, we could still enjoy the views from inside with the big picture windows. The steep drive up to the cabin is worth it for the views and amenities. We would definitely recommend staying here and should we venture back to the smokies, this will be on our list of places to stay again.

The dome was amazing. Our small family had a blast. The dome is super cozy and has everything that you need for a great stay. GPS stops you short of the property so keep going up until you see the domes. The hot tub and fire pit were great to have. We had an amazing stay.
