Greeter Falls Campground is now open for business! We want to welcome all you happy campers to our timberland escape. Greeter Falls Campground is located less than a half mile from the Greeter Falls Trailhead, adjacent to the 16,000 acre Savage Gulf Wilderness area offering over 50 miles of well-marked trails for every skill level. The .08 mile Greeter Falls Trail loop connects you to three awe inspiring waterfalls as well as the nearby Blue Hole swimming area. We offer many recreational options to help you enjoy the area including Primitive Tent spots, furnished Yurts (Bell Tents) and RV/Travel Trailer sites (each with electrical and water hook-ups). Unlike many RV camps where sites are over-packed into a cramped trailer park setting, all our sites are ensconced within sparsely inhabited raw timberland; with less than 3 sites per acre versus an average of 10 nationally. Solo/Duo Tent Camping

A near by dog barked all night so I was not able to sleep so I decided I didn’t want to risk another night like that and packed up and left although I had paid for a second night.

BEST CAMPSITE

I HIGHLY recommend! - This was my first camping trip and I was so impressed with this place! - When we arrived, it was very easy to find the place. We went to the front welcome center and the girl who checked us in was so sweet and friendly. She explained everything and gave us a little magnet souvenir and map! - The bathhouse was also at the welcome area and there were a few stalls with toilets and showers and sinks with mirrors. The bathhouse was very clean and required a code so only guests could use it. - our campsite was right across the street. There was parking and all of the sites were in a row but there were trees in between each site and they each were down their own little path for privacy. - the site had room for a tent, and had a fire pit with a grill and a little hay bale bench. - we had purchased firewood for 5$ when we reserved the spot which was perfect and just enough to have a fire for s'mores and hot dogs. We had to add in some twigs to get it going though of course. - The site had our initials and dates and everything on a little sign on the tree so it was easy to see which spot was ours. - it was very quiet and safe! - the greeter falls waterfall was amazing!! -I would definitely come back here. It was extremely simple to access and book. The camp was clean and very nice for first time campers especially and the office/welcome center is open until 9pm making it easy to checkin whenever you arrive!

Very helpful staff upon arrival someone even stopped by later during the day to ask if we needed anything Location is close to waterfalls and some other cool places like stone door The only bad thing for my primitive camping site was Not being able to back up my vehicle to site so you have to carry everything to your site .

Our space (#24) felt a little small for three people and one large tent, but it was cozy and private and we enjoyed our stay. Loved the short walk to the trailhead!

Absolutely loved camping at Greeter Falls Campground. It was beautiful and plenty quiet. Even if there’s several people camping on a loop they spread you out so you have space. The camp hosts were some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. The hikes nearby were wonderful as well. Absolutely recommend.

Campsite was well managed and easy to navigate. Clean, easy to access bathrooms and shower. Easy hike from campsite to Greeter Falls. Will for sure be back!
