This is a beautiful, unique setting and the wine tasting is an added bonus. The hosts are responsive and welcoming. I enjoyed staying in this corner of the world!
Stayed two nights at the property. Hosts were super friendly and the property was awesome.
Would not hesitate to stay here again, and we plan on returning for our next camping trip!
We had a really great stay here! The property has some fun, unique touches (like a UFO, some aliens 👽, and creative birdhouses) that made it interesting to explore. The amenities were super convenient, especially having a bathroom with running water and firewood provided. We really loved the wine tasting, fishing, and stargazing. The hosts were amazing, and we and our dogs had a great time!
This was a beautiful spot and more lovely than advertised. Lisa is a wonderful host, the fishing was great - just a wonderful oasis and a great place to get out of the city. Thanks Lisa and Dennis!!

One of my favorite Hipcamp sites yet. The bathroom is so cute and such a game changer for camping. We were also able to catch a lot of fish in the pond. Would totally recommend and would love to come back.

Lisa and Dennis were incredible hosts who take exceptional care of their land and visitors. Our family of 4+pup enjoyed 2 nights camping, wine tasting, fishing, and much more. The privacy of our stay was paramount and this site more than satisfied our needs. We have been home for 5 hours and already miss this place and are planning our next trip. Do yourself a favor and book a stay at this beautiful property!! The selections of wine are amazing and unique! Dennis was an incredible wealth of knowledge and took great care of us during the wine tasting as well as every other part of our stay!

Lisa and Dennis were such wonderful hosts! This was our first camping trip with our toddler and we couldn’t have found a better spot for our first outing with him! We loved fishing in the pond and enjoyed the fire pits. One of the most special things were the fairy lanterns that came on around the property after the sun went down. The bathroom was a top-notch amenity, too! Lisa and Dennis gave us a wonderful tour of their property and we enjoyed meeting all their animals (dogs, cats and Cajun the potbelly pig). We would absolutely come back again!

Dennis and Lisa are such a kind and friendly couple! We had a very pleasant, relaxing time staying overnight at Backroads Vineyard. The cozy camping spot we had was far superior to any campground site. The fall colors and the morning sun peaking through the trees was so therapeutic and rejuvenating.

The bathroom was stellar! Running water, flushing toilet, private, & there are some necessities in there if you forget something.
Firewood is supplied. Fire pit was huge & had 2 cooking grates ready to use. We were able to make 1 big fire & 1 for cooking. Plenty of chairs (6 maybe) and picnic tables. There's a trash bin with bags supplied. We took our trash with us.
The site we chose by the fire was surrounded by trees, but had the perfect opening for star gazing.
We loved tent Camping at Lisa and Dennis’ place! They provided firewood and even loaned us their wood axe when we realized we forgot ours. It was very peaceful and private. Their outhouse is beyond cute and has single use makeup wipes and other toiletries for guest use. Also, the pond is stocked to the brim with fish. We could barely keep our hook in the water when we went fishing in the afternoon!
As for the winery, all you have to do is ask! Both Lisa and Dennis were very agreeable to doing a tasting when it worked for us and great company during the tasting. We are normally more dry wine people, but found ourselves enjoying their sweet wine so much we went home with a few bottles.
We really enjoyed tent camping at Backroads Vineyard! Dennis was very kind and welcoming and check-in/check-out was a breeze. Their place is very beautiful and a great place for car camping. Definitely recommend!
Lisa and Dennis are the nicest people you’ll ever meet and their land is so special! Right on the pond with the nicest bathroom full of the cutest things. Even disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste available - such a wonderful touch. Lisa and Dennis went out of their way to take videos for our arrival given we were arriving while they were away at an event. They provided a ton of firewood and the chairs by the pond are the comfiest ever - thank you for sharing your piece of heaven with us!
Loved my stay here! Have this huge review with more description of the property as well as pictures but there's just not enough room to fit it here! Stayed during a down pour! Brought tarps and the site was perfect for setting up a dry spot over our tent. Loved our stay!

We had a magical night camping in our rooftop tent here. Our kids loved feeding the pot belly pig, exploring the property and playing yard games. Lisa gave us a welcome basket that was a nice surprise and the on site bathroom is great to have (so cute too). You can tell a lot of love goes into their property. We brought a grill grate and skillet and made dinner with the provided firewood. Lots of seating provided and a picnic table near the firepit. The kids watched the fireflies as they went to bed and then we saw hundreds of stars sitting by the firepit ❤️ You won’t be disappointed!

Great private camping experience. There’s plenty to do with the pond and fire pits. They had tables, chairs, the nicest camping bathroom ever, and even provided the firewood. Will for sure be camping here again in the future

My son and I had such an amazing time fishing and enjoying the secluded camping. Lisa and Dennis are great hosts. My only regret is that I didn’t get to sample any of the wine.
We will absolutely visit again.

Very quiet. Hosts lovely people. Well cared for grounds. Lots of places to hang out. And
We truly hit the jackpot when we found this place to camp for the eclipse! We wanted somewhere in totality and away from the large crowds.
The property is basically in the middle of nowhere so we fell asleep listening to the peepers and bullfrog and woke up to the birds singing.
Lisa and Dennis met us promptly as we pulled in the driveway and gave us all the details we needed. Since we were the only campers, we had had our choice of site. The pond site was nice and private, with ample chairs to enjoy the world around you!
The bathroom was THE BEST outdoor bathroom I've found when camping! The decor was so cute and there were all sorts of amenities tucked into the drawers in case you forgot anything!
There are several dogs and cats on the property as well as the cutest pig!
The fact that this is also a vineyard was the icing on the cake. We had plans to watch the eclipse from the pond but we accepted Lisa's invitation to join the watch party.
We will definitely stay here again if we get back to the area!

My girlfriend and I loved tent camping at this spot! From the pictures we were not 100% sure if the tent site was private or not. This spot was very private and we would certainly stay here again!
Absolutely beautiful roads to get to a piece of heaven on earth! We didn't stay but a few hours but it was perfectly relaxing!!
TOTALLY recommend!!!!
