There is something a little magical about tent camping with people you love. ❤️🏕️
This weekend was full of muddy shoes, curious animals, sleepy little campers, and memories we’ll be talking about for years. My sister, nephew, daughter, and I packed up the tent and headed out for an adventure that reminded us that the best vacations don’t always come with fancy hotels or perfect weather.
We fed alpacas, visited beautiful horses, learned about the history of the property, and had the pleasure of being hosted by Karen, who made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. We even took a trip to a butterfly conservatory that left all of us completely enchanted. 🦋
The highlight of all? Watching my 3-year-old nephew experience his very first camping trip. From painting in the tent to falling asleep after a day of exploring, seeing the world through his eyes made everything feel brand new again. There were giggles, sunsets, messy tents, animal encounters, and the kind of conversations that only seem to happen when you’re sitting under an open sky.
It wasn’t perfect, and that’s exactly what made it perfect.
Here’s to first camping trips, sister adventures, cousins making memories, and choosing experiences over things. We can’t wait to do it again. 🌅⛺🐴🦙💕
