We booked this just a day before because the weather turned up, and we had an amazing time. This was our second time there and I did not have to think twice before boole it becae David is an amazing host and the spot is just perfect.

We had a such a great 2 nights at Riverview. David was waiting for us upon arrival, which was great for me and my 2 kids. I recommend the Glamping bundle- we were later arrivals and earlier departure, so it was nice to not have to set up and dismantle a tent. Perfect site for the kids and dog!! Will definitely be back.

David was a wonderful host. We're not avid campers I felt like we were bugging David a bit to much than I'd like but, he helped us out a lot. The apot is nice and well maintained and very close to the river. A nice secluded spot to wind down.

My second time to camp at Monarch Meadows Tree Farm these summer, brought my family 21/2 grand daughter and a dog what else to say we all “LOVE IT” we had so much fun, played games, guys went fishing for hours. Storm on our first night but nothing stop us, like my husband said its camping lol, but the best of all star gazing the moon is out so beautiful.
David was so accomodating he will help you in every way to make you feel home, and his daughter who was with him on the day we arrived shes a sweetie.
Definitely were going back to camp again, its peaceful place to enjoy time with family and life in nature.

The site was beautiful and well set up. Being right on the river was great to cool off on a hot day. The view at sunrise was stunning.
David was a great host, very helpful and quick to respond.
Would definitely stay again!

My second visit to David’s property and once again it was excellent. David is a fantastic host and the camping site is wonderful. Lots of shade - which was very helpful during this heat wave. And a beautiful view of the river - which I love.

This is one of our favourite local places to go for a quick getaway. Peaceful and quiet, shady, on the water, in the middle of nature. Absolutely recommend if you're looking for a bit of down time and relaxation.

We loved tent camping on David’s land! David was easy to communicate with and helped us bring down our gear. As described, it is a bit of a trek down the trail to the site, but we were able to do it multiple times without issue. The site was exactly as described, but pictures don’t even do it justice! It was so beautiful and serene. The large tree helped provide some shade and the water was very refreshing to cool off in. Our dog absolutely loved running and splashing around off-leash. The site is surrounded by tall plants and felt very private for our reactive dog. We could hear and see some other campers off in the distance from the water but it was not disruptive at all. There was a nice trail on-site and there are great hikes and restaurants a short drive away. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend.

We had an amazing weekend at Monarch Meadows! Everything was better than we could have ever hoped! David was so helpful and communicative. There were also so many thoughtful details put into our stay such as having a big bin full of things that we could forget. It was also so great to have the firewood provided and to also not worry about bringing chairs. The location was also perfect as it was between London, St. Mary’s, and Thorndale, providing tons of activities. And then, not to mention the view!!!! It was just stunning and we spend our first night stargazing. I would recommend this site to everyone for tent camping and hope to even come back!

We went as a small group of 3 people and 2 dogs, We loved the privacy, the dogs were off leash periodically, and we let them into the water a few times. I do recommend you get dog water shoes for the dogs because our dogs had scuffed paws from slipping on the rocks too much. Other than that our stay was absolutely stunning and amazing.
Our host David was absolutely amazing, we left a little early and he had no issues with helping us get our stuff back to cars, he was very understanding and helpful!
In conclusion, we will definitely be coming back to camp this site!

Sweet campsite! Nice little nook space, complete privacy. We stayed on hot days but the giant tree shade & steep little hill behind us made for really good temperature control.

Enjoyed our time on the secluded site along the river's edge! It was a great spot for birdwatching! While the amenities are minimal, you're sure to have a great time if you come prepared.

Beautiful spot. Cannot recommend it enough. We swam in the water, cooked food over the fire, and there was quiet— except for the chattering of animals, which is wonderful.

It's a beautiful, peaceful and private site. I brought my dog and we had a quiet camp out on the river. A nice trail as well that you can easily access. The host was helpful and responsive. My dog was able to be off-leash and enjoy the space too. Would highly recommend.

This was a beautiful campsite. I will definitely stay here again while visiting friends in London. The shelter tree is amazing...it kept us shaded during the hot mornings and dry during the rain showers. Order the firewood, you won't regret it. We'd planned on driving into town for meals, but it was so beautiful under the softly lit tree with a campfire and view of the river - we didn't want to leave the site. There were monarchs in the meadow!
A word of caution about the trail in. It's a steep descent and the ground between the stair risers can be very slippery. We were lucky to have our camping gear sherpa-ed to the campsite, but if that option isn't available upon your arrival, be prepared to slowly carry your gear in.

I loved tent camping on David’s property! It’s a perfect area being right beside the river and away from everyone and everything else. I highly recommend it and will certainly be back.
David is also a great host. He hauled all my gear to the campsite in a trailer and brought it all back up when I was done.

Monarch meadows is the best place to camp and to unwind. The perfect place its very peaceful, birds flying and tweeting, heard turkeys from a distance, the sound of a rushing river so soothing, whoosing sounds of wind from the trees, luscious green trees and grasses, crackling sounds of fire from the fire pit its a natural world.
It was raining dint care dint last long still we had a great time, we walked in the trail to explore, my hubby fish for fun, barbecued in the firepit, read my book relax and had a cup of tea.
David, hes extremely helpful helped us carry our stuff and offered helped the day we left.
I definitely recommend Monarch Meadows tree farm. I assure, you will have a good time and refresh.

The river view was amazing! I had an amazing stay listening to the wildlife over night. I also highly recommend anyone goes to breakfast at Thorndale Family Restaurant after their stay!

Great private location close to London and surrounding area to get away in nature.
Plenty of wildlife around, bring binoculars for bird watching.
David was super communicative and we were able to get our gear loaded and carried on the 4x4.
Highly recommended, will look to book in the future and bring the kids.
