This is a secluded and quiet property tucked back off the road in the bush. Lots of room to roam, trees to relax under and let your dogs run. We have three dogs that roam the grounds and are a welcoming committee.
We have lots of sites tucked into the greenery for privacy. We operate a vintage trailer restoration shop on site and have lots of interesting units around.
There is firewood on property to purchase. We have a convenience station to wash dishes. Potable water and ice to purchase. We have showers outdoors with hot water.
The newest addition to the property are two goats that think they are dogs and will greet you.
We are on the boarder of a hiking trail that is accessible from the property. So if you’re looking for a hiking spot you can start here.

We are hosting a garage sale in coordination with the town of Wellesley June 6, 8am-1pm. There might be more visitors than usual that morning. If you’d like to come out for the sake you are more than welcome.

A piece of heaven is what awaits you here. If you're looking for privacy your search is over. Imagine having your own island you reach by walking across the 15 metre bridge with a few areas to set up your tent(s) from where you'll fall asleep listening to the sound of the spring flowing into the pond, what bliss. The other site has a large rectangular pond of its own to ensure everyone has privacy.
Your drinking water comes from Mother Nature, not a well, true spring water that's icy cold and so refreshing.. There are two spring fed ponds which makes them revitalizing on a hot day when you go for a swim.
We are located 10 minutes away from the town of Hanover and the Allan Park Conservation is right beside us and has numerous walking and off road bicycling trails. The Saugeen River is 5 minutes away which you can kayak or tube down, too much fun that is.
Our property offers beautiful scenery, virtual privacy, you see glimpses of our home, peace and tranquility with the backdrop of Mother Nature to be heard, geese, wild turkeys, deer, lots of songbirds, coyotes and oh yes, our big friendly lovable
pectaular and later the stars twinkle above and maybe you'll even see a satellite high above while you're stargazing.
Each site has a table (you'll need to bring lawn chairs), firepit with a cooking grill, and a supply of wood you'll have to purchase from us upon arrival, as we are a forestry managed property. An outhouse is a pleasant walk within minutes of the site. Water for dishes and general washing can just be taken from the pond (DO NOT DRINK) Not that it would kill you, lol. Ray will keep you supplied with fresh spring water for drinking.
New to this site is a solar powered string of 300 lights, two single person floats
There are numerous things to do within a 15 minute drive. A couple dams, 2 conservation parks, drive-in theatre, casino, horse racing, small stock car racing track (great for young kids), two local breweries, a busy local butcher and the Saugeen River. With more destinations as you move outward.
We promise you won't be disappointed and can't wait to share our piece of Heaven with you.
TAKE NOTE You will be charged $500 per bag/item of refuse you leave behind. WE DO NOT HAVE GARBAGE PICKUP, besides which you are supposed to leave the site as you found it.
CANCELATIONS: IF you cancel within two weeks of your arrival date, your money will NOT be refunded nor will you be able to change the date. Park at the stream and take the bridge to your camp site equipped with gazebo, seating, picknick table and fire pit. This property is also part of a hobby farm that is home to Nigerian Dwarf goats, calves, sheep, ducks, chickens, turkeys and bunnies. Learn more about this land:This comfortable and spacious yurt is located on the 30-acre property of the historic Paisley Mill along the Teeswater river. With three large windows, a dome skylight, and wool felt insulation, the yurt provides a wonderful "glamping" experience.
There is a double bed and a single bed in the yurt along with a cooler, table, chairs, and storage space. In the future there will be solar power, but right now the lighting available is by a battery powered lantern (provided). Next to the yurt is a picnic table, fire pit, and a sawdust toilet.

Purchased in 1989, this small piece of heaven was developed by Peter & Suelaine Poot into a home for their family and beginning in 2003, a welcoming alpaca farm.
The bush area has been used for camping by many local and visiting scouting groups over the years.
In 2021, we joined Hip Camp and now allow others to enjoy the beauty, peace, and challenges of camping in our bush.
The alpacas are a peaceful herd to watch as they graze their way through the day. Crias (baby alpacas), love to pronk and play in the pastures near their mothers. During May you may observe us shearing the alpacas.
June is the birthing and breeding month. They birth quickly, so watch carefully.
Tours of the farm with explanations of the fibre harvest process and opportunities to walk the alpacas are available to be booked through our website.

Campsite was great! Nice fire pit provided, and the site was private with lots of space to enjoy both sun and shade, plus evening stargazing. Jenna was a great host, very prompt with communication and accommodating! We floated down the river during our stay (highlight!) and she was kind enough to help us get to the river and provide a raft. The location is also really convenient, with towns just a few mins away in either direction if you need to grab anything or want to explore the area. Thanks for having us!

I had a great time at this place. The hosts are lovely and friendly. The property is truly amazing the pond was beautiful and the water was perfect, BBQ area was ideal for making a nice meal, and the fire pit has a wonderful view of the pond and also the bunkie was so cozy and comfortable. 🫶🏻 It’s also just 1.5 hs from Tobermory, making it the perfect spot to rest before or after a long drive.

I would definitely come back again and recommend this camp site. Charles (Chuck) is very friendly and helpful, my friend brought the wrong air pump for his air mattress and Chuck had no issue helping out, we mentioned it would be nice if we had space by the river to fish and next day Chuck had cleared two spot for us to fish.
The view is beautiful, clean outhouse. There was another 2 sites there it was nicely spaced out so that you have your own privacy. We were booked for Upper Deck and Chuck was nice to let us move to Waterfront as it was empty right at the water edge.

Weekend Trip to Edges Sideroad Springs
We really enjoyed our stay at the A-frame (two adults plus dog). The area is beautiful with a pond nearby and trails going through the property. The cabin was clean and comfortable and felt private. Even though there are other campsites on the property, for the most part, we felt like we had the place to ourselves.
The host was very friendly and so helpful, even taking the time to show us how to build a proper campfire. Despite being out there over a rainy weekend, we had a great trip. So whether you're a seasoned camper or someone thinking of giving camping a shot for the first time, this is the perfect place to stay.

We stayed at Camping Site 2, and it was peaceful, clean, and perfect for relaxing. Overall, we had a fantastic time and created some lovely memories. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique and enjoyable camping experience!
The donkeys were very friendly, and Lily was definitely my favorite—I absolutely loved spending time with her!

We had such a great time here and are really glad we chose this place for our weekend getaway. From the moment we arrived, the hosts were warm, welcoming, and easy to communicate with. They made us feel at home while still giving us plenty of privacy.
The campsite was peaceful and exactly what we needed to take a break from the city. We spent the evening around the campfire, enjoyed the quiet surroundings, and woke up to beautiful views of the pond. It was the perfect place to relax and recharge.
I was a little unsure about the portable washroom before arriving, but it turned out to be very clean, well maintained, and much better than I had expected. Overall, the experience was excellent value for money, and we'd happily stay here again. Highly recommended if you're looking for a quiet, relaxing escape in nature.

Our camp time was great despite the rain storm that stayed for one and half days. We had our tents and canopy up and were able to string some tarps between the trees as well to increase our dry space. We had high ground to tent on and a large picnic table to cook food and store our bins. The distance from the parked cars to campsite was small but we used our wagons to drag our stuff in and out of site. The wood pile was large and we had that fire going all day and most of the night.
The farm dog was maybe a little too friendly with our dog but they had fun playing together.
Hosts came to check in on us a few times and to grab their dog at night as he was too happy to hang out with us.
It was fun to see the alpacas as we walked to the port a john and to our cars. They are so sweet and cute looking.

We had a wonderful stay at this campsite! The owner was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and accommodating, which made us feel right at home. Although we experienced some rain during our stay, we still had a great time and enjoyed the beautiful natural surroundings. The peaceful creek and greenery made it a perfect place to relax and spend quality time with family. We would definitely love to come back!

Another awesome camping for me and my family, we dint care even its pouring rain, grand daughter was so thrilled wearing her rain outfit. Hubby and son in law went fishing nothing stops them even its pouring.
The host David, I appreciate you so much for taking your time to check on us when its pouring rain and offered your bunker for us to move.
Its our third time to camp at Monarch meadow we love the place its peaceful, our last night finally the rain stops we saw the star and fire flies its magical.
Definitely we be back again next year. The best of the best to camp with family or a couple.

We had an amazing stay at Everhill Farm over the long weekend. A beautiful site with loads of room and privacy, and the river is a bonus on a hot day! The bathroom facilities were super clean. The tractor ride was fabulous and the history shared about the farm and town was great. I would highly recommend visiting this location. Josh, we will be back - thank you for the amazing hospitality.
