Days here are meant to move slowly. Wander the trails. Listen for owls after dark. Watch the fire. Look for mushrooms and tiny forest treasures. Or do absolutely nothing at all. Nestled among the trees is Camp Kyle, our tiny off-grid cabin built for unplugging from the modern world—without giving up the pleasure of climbing into a king-sized bed at the end of the day. Outside, you'll find a covered kitchen and dining area and a large open firepit for long evenings beneath the stars. Raven Hollow is intentionally rustic. This isn't a resort tucked into the woods... the woods are the experience. Expect wildlife, changing weather, dirt beneath your boots, dark skies, crackling fires and all the little sounds that come with sleeping in a forest. And while the Hollow can feel wonderfully far away from everything, you aren't. Chesley is about 10 minutes away and Hanover about 20, with hiking, waterfalls, beaches, swimming, fishing, small towns and plenty more to explore throughout the surrounding area. There are also lots of backroads and opportunities for ATV and side-by-side adventures nearby. Dogs are very welcome, but must remain leashed at all times while exploring Raven Hollow. This is a secluded and quiet property tucked back off the road in the bush. Lots of room to roam, trees to relax under and let your dogs run. We have three dogs that roam the grounds and are a welcoming committee. We have lots of sites tucked into the greenery for privacy. We operate a vintage trailer restoration shop on site and have lots of interesting units around. There is firewood on property to purchase. We have a convenience station to wash dishes. Potable water and ice to purchase. We have showers outdoors with hot water. The newest addition to the property are two goats that think they are dogs and will greet you. We are on the boarder of a hiking trail that is accessible from the property. So if you’re looking for a hiking spot you can start here. Please message us for any special requests or questions you have. We are hosting a garage sale in coordination with the town of Wellesley June 6, 8am-1pm. There might be more visitors than usual that morning. If you’d like to come out for the sake you are more than welcome. Looking forward to a great camping season.

We have now added a Bunkie that can be booked for a more comfortable camping experience. The Perth Harvest Pathway section of the G2G rail trail is quite literally in the backyard. for hiking , bird watching and biking. The bush area has been used for camping by many local and visiting scouting groups over the years. In 2021, we joined Hip Camp and now allow others to enjoy the beauty, peace, and challenges of camping in our bush. The alpacas are a peaceful herd to watch as they graze their way through the day. Crias (baby alpacas), love to pronk and play in the pastures near their mothers. During May you may observe us shearing the alpacas. June is the birthing and breeding month. They birth quickly, so watch carefully. Tours of the farm with explanations of the fibre harvest process and opportunities to walk the alpacas are available to be booked through our website. Imagine having your own island you reach by walking across the 15 metre bridge with a few areas to set up your tent(s) from where you'll fall asleep listening to the sound of the spring flowing into the pond, what bliss. The other site has a large rectangular pond of its own to ensure everyone has privacy. Your drinking water comes from Mother Nature, not a well, true spring water that's icy cold and so refreshing.. There are two spring fed ponds which makes them revitalizing on a hot day when you go for a swim. We are located 10 minutes away from the town of Hanover and the Allan Park Conservation is right beside us and has numerous walking and off road bicycling trails. The Saugeen River is 5 minutes away which you can kayak or tube down, too much fun that is. Our property offers beautiful scenery, virtual privacy, you see glimpses of our home, peace and tranquility with the backdrop of Mother Nature to be heard, geese, wild turkeys, deer, lots of songbirds, coyotes and oh yes, our big friendly lovable pectaular and later the stars twinkle above and maybe you'll even see a satellite high above while you're stargazing. Each site has a table (you'll need to bring lawn chairs), firepit with a cooking grill, and a supply of wood you'll have to purchase from us upon arrival, as we are a forestry managed property. An outhouse is a pleasant walk within minutes of the site. Water for dishes and general washing can just be taken from the pond (DO NOT DRINK) Not that it would kill you, lol. Ray will keep you supplied with fresh spring water for drinking. New to this site is a solar powered string of 300 lights, two single person floats There are numerous things to do within a 15 minute drive. A couple dams, 2 conservation parks, drive-in theatre, casino, horse racing, small stock car racing track (great for young kids), two local breweries, a busy local butcher and the Saugeen River. With more destinations as you move outward. We promise you won't be disappointed and can't wait to share our piece of Heaven with you. TAKE NOTE You will be charged $500 per bag/item of refuse you leave behind. WE DO NOT HAVE GARBAGE PICKUP, besides which you are supposed to leave the site as you found it. CANCELATIONS: IF you cancel within two weeks of your arrival date, your money will NOT be refunded nor will you be able to change the date. I had an amazing stay here with a group of 10 friends! The campsite is spacious enough for multiple tents, and the pond has beautiful, crystal-clear spring water. You can literally see all the way to the bottom! What I loved most was how private, peaceful, and quiet the place is. It’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy nature. Terry is an absolutely wonderful host super friendly, responsive, and such a funny lady! She made our experience even better. I highly recommend this place and would definitely come back!

What a delightful stay! We booked at the last minute and the hosts were so gracious. It was a perfect getaway. The cabin was spotlessly clean and well equipped. The bed was really cozy, there was room for our pup and we were grateful for the small heater. The setting was just lovely — pine trees, water views and a lovely meadow for the dog to run in. We were grateful for the picnic table, extra drinking water, propane grill, fire pit and really comfy chairs. The location is great — sweet small towns, great coffee, and nice hikes without a lot of people. We will DEFINITELY be back. If you’re considering booking — don’t wait! This is your place!

Lovely host! The toilet was very clean for a biffy! Beautiful view of the Alpacas. Learnt lots about the fluffy animals and were able to interact with them with the owner. Fall colours were gorgeous. Site had a fire pit, x4 chairs, and a nice mix of sun and shade on the back end of their house. Would recommend! Not - it's not private. People are walking by and the feeding of the herd is at 7am and 7 pm. They are happy for you to join in!

1 night at Beaver Ranch

Super last minute trip for one night unfortunately but Angela was quick to respond and very friendly. The firewood was nice and dry so no problem getting a fire started🔥. Had an amazing time even though it was short lived. The option of being by the river and with the moonlight shining upon it was a real treat, very soothing sound while going to sleep too 🥲. Will be back for a longer trip next time 🤞.

Chris and Bruce were great hosts! Nice quiet site far away from the road and lots of nature around. Was very private but we also had the whole place to ourselves. Chris also gave to great fishing tips. Would recommend!

We stayed in the wee Boler and despite its size, it was perfectly comfortable for our nights. Otherwise during the day everyone was friendly and there were always dogs & goats to visit. Denise & Chris were lovely, helpful hosts. Would recommend everyone pay a visit!

1 night at Willow Pond Haven

This is the cleanest bunkie I have ever stayed in. Everything was thoughtfully provided. Water, little heater, bbq, wood, extra blankets. Even a little wagon to help move things from my car to the bunkie location. I was offered help if needed and also given privacy. The whole site is tidy and pretty. The water fountain in the pond is a wonderful relaxing backdrop.

Weekend Trip to A Piece of Heaven

The site was really scenic and looked fantastic. There was plenty of space for setting up tents and the food area felt pretty spacious for our group of 6 people. The group before us left their set up above the fire where we were able to hang a pot, which was super thoughtful and nice. We hardly heard anyone at other campsites, just that one time when someone was chopping wood. The hosts were really attentive too, making sure we had enough wood and water. Overall a very lovely stay!

We had such a lovely stay at Willow Pond Haven! ❤️ Everything was perfectly set up for us—even the firewood for a cozy bonfire. We just had to bring our food and ourselves! Lisa and her partner were so warm and welcoming, and the property is beautiful and peaceful. We truly enjoyed our family getaway and would love to come back.

We loved our campsite 2! The campsite felt private, and the owners were very kind and welcoming. Our kids especially loved seeing the animals, including the donkeys. With the walking trail and farm atmosphere, it felt like a real farm getaway. We’d happily come back again !
