Site 3 Yurt tent and queen bed
The camp was fantastic! It’s absolutely beautiful. If you are into ‘Off the Grid’ you need to stay here. The hosts were so accommodating and friendly. My boys and I tented and loved it. As well, it’s only 10mins from Wildwood lake!

Group Camping with Friends

Prospect Forest Acres Group camping
Our group of friends rented the entire group camping area for a weekend at the end of July 2026, and we had a wonderful experience. Having the entire campground to ourselves gave us plenty of privacy and allowed everyone to relax and enjoy the weekend together. We made great use of the campfire area, where Erma generously provided plenty of firewood for everyone. The on-site outhouse was clean, well maintained, and stocked with toilet paper and hand sanitizer, making it a convenient option for those without washroom facilities in their trailers. On Saturday afternoon, we walked over to the pond, where we spent time relaxing on the deck chairs while some of the kids enjoyed fishing. They were excited to catch a fish, which was safely released back into the pond. Cell service for those using Rogers was limited in some areas of the campground, but that gave us the opportunity to unplug and spend more quality time together. Overall, this was a fantastic place for a group camping getaway. The peaceful setting, privacy, clean facilities, and thoughtful hospitality made for a memorable weekend. We would happily recommend this campground to other groups looking for a relaxing place to gather, and we look forward to returning in the future.

I absolutely loved this campsite! It was beautiful and spacious. The drive through the forest was enchanting. This is such a serene little oasis! I enjoyed the trails and sitting on the deck by the pond. Rick and Erma were very friendly and helpful. I will return again and again. Its now my favorite campsite! It was recommended to me by a friend and I am so glad that I know about it. A hidden gem!

Lovely Spot

We were able to bring our 21 foot trailer to site 1 (site 2 would also work). It fit nicely into the space. We do not require electrical, so it was fine for us. Erma’s land is quite nice. There are lots of trails to explore. My husband even caught and released some small bass in the pond. The fire pit is quite large and is communal. Wood was provided. Overall, it was very quiet and peaceful. The site is close to the quaint town of St Mary’s where we were able to do some kayaking and explore the town. A great spot for a nice getaway.

Location was nice. Place was superb. No disturbance. Nice forest. Great thing was they provided firewood. Cons: No water No washroom(the one which is mentioned is not sustainable to use) No electricity Water and neat washroom are must in a campsite.
