Our 2.5 acre property is located just outside the small village of Millbank. The large lawn area is great for camping, campfires, playing games and relaxing while watching the horse and buggies of the local Amish and Mennonites go ambling by in a manner that speaks to a time gone by. We have now added a Bunkie that can be booked for a more comfortable camping experience. The Perth Harvest Pathway section of the G2G rail trail is quite literally in the backyard. for hiking , bird watching and biking. We have an outdoor shower and large sink in a shed attached to the rear of our garage. It is easy to identify as it has a large white x on the door. We also have a few camping items such as a grill and a few cooking pots and pans in the small shed near the G2G trail

Hike or Bike to our campsite, pitch your tent, and enjoy a nice warm shower after a day on the trail. Then relax by the campfire while enjoying the quiet country atmosphere with the local Amish and Mennonites passing by in their horse and buggies. There is an outhouse at the trail entrance along with a rest area complete with cold drinks and snacks for sale. The outdoor shower and large sink for water supply and dish washing is located at the rear of our garage and is easily identified as the door with the x design. The well known Elizabeth Watson Flower and Artisan store, Zehr's Country Market and Anna Maes Restaurant are all within easy walking distance.

Our Bunkie located within a few meters of the G2G Trail is a more comfortable option than tent camping. A rustic cabin with a built in solar light and solar charging station for your mobile phone. There is a bunk bed with a double bed on bottom and a single on top. There is access to the outhouse style toilet and a shower house with hot and cold shower and a large sink with potable water. You provide your own sleeping bags.

Great overnight stop on the GNR bike packing loop . So nice to have a warm shower . Great property and location . Only a few minutes to Anna Mae’s for a great breakfast to start day 2

Great spot right off the G2G trail. I was a little unsure if it being so close to the trail would be an issue for me, but it really wasn't. There is lots of available land with mostly flat, nice cut grass where I could setup my tent. There is a second picnic table near the Bunkie in addition to the one by the rest area off the trail, so I setup camp near there. I didn't rent the Bunkie, no one stayed there the night I was there. I suppose if there were multiple campers, the picnic table would need to be shared, same as the outdoor, single unit shower/sink by the owner's house, and the outhouse by the rest area. There is also a firepit a short distance from the picnic table and Bunkie, with a selection of firewood made available. I had a great time after biking to site, also walked into Millbank which only took 5-10 minutes. The road traffic noise mostly faded into the background for me, it died down a lot into the night and the sound of crickets takes over. I was treated to a beautiful starry night while sitting by the fire, not too much light pollution in the area. Honestly, can't really think of anything different I would ask for from this spot. I really appreciate the owner's setting up the trail rest area and this campsite in such a perfect location! Come ride the G2G trail and stay at Cottonwood Manor!
