Dalton Traders Grand Cabin
Beautiful & Cozy Forest Cabin
We stayed in the beautiful, cozy cabin nestled in the woods on Ed's property. Ed was fun to talk with and had such a jolly dog, who guided our car all the way in. My daughter and I loved the forest ambience and appreciated all the details that Ed and his wife have put into this site. Thank you!

Fun and beautiful!!
Ed’s property made for a phenomenal camping experience… Can’t even think of one thing we didn’t like!! Upon arrival we were greeted by the cutest pup named Cocoa who was the queen of fetch! Ed, the host, was also very warm and friendly and gave us the run down of his beautiful property and showed us our campsite. The large open field had lots of space for our tents, as well as room for activities with the kids. But it was also wooded enough to provide shade. The Porto potty was extremely clean and the outdoor shower was pretty awesome as well! The fire pit was awesome and Ed provided everything we needed to make a fire. So many thoughtful little touches. The kids loved playing on the playground and were always entertained (especially with cocoa!). Would totally recommend this place and hope to come back one day!

Dalton Traders Grand Cabin
Ed was there to greet us upon arrival and gave us info about cabin and amenities. This is a cute little cabin set back away from the house on quite a bit of property. There is a nice sitting area by a small pond and a small playground area for children. A group fire pit area that we did not use but looked nice. The cabin is cozy and cute and there were some supplies available such as paper plates paper towel potable water. There is also a well pump down by the shower area and a large handicap accessible Porta John. We were only there for one night so we did not use the shower though I think it's nice to have in a rustic rental. The outdoor area of the cabin is very peaceful with trails for walking, a nice seating area for a fire which we took advantage of. Easy check and easy check out and plenty of privacy. There are some campsites not far from the cabin but nobody was renting. We would stay here again it is a good location to many beaches and other activities.

I loved the little cabin in the woods. More was provided than expected! And Ed was able to help me with my cell phone battery charging problem by letting me charge up in their barn.

Dalton Traders Grand Cabin
We booked Ed's cabin at the last minute when our previously booked campsite was unavailable. It ended up being the perfect place. The cabin is beautiful. Even though there is no electricity, there are little lights and lanterns everywhere. It had everything we needed for our one night stay, including potable water for drinking, wood for a campfire, and an outdoor shower. The port-a-potty was the cleanest we've ever seen!
Ed is the perfect host. He went out of his way to meet us at the road with a lantern, because the power was out everywhere in town due to a major storm and there were no lights anywhere. We would love to come back and highly recommend Ed's cabin!

Dalton Traders Grand Cabin
We had a great stay at the Grand Cabin! Ed was waiting for us when we arrived and showed us to the cabin. There were lots of thoughtful touches, such as spare flashlights and lanterns, matches, kindling, extra pillows, a fan, etc. The trundle bed fit two of us comfortably and the cabin was super clean. We enjoyed the private fireplace and well-kept portapotty bathroom. It rained throughout our second night, so the porch was a great feature. It was an easy drive to both Muskegon State Park and PJ Hoffmaster State Park for hikes. I highly recommend staying in this super cute and comfy cabin!
