Beautiful large property with 40 acres of woods to explore and a spring fed pond with a creek running threw the property. There is a large pavilion for hosting and a heated bath house. There are hiking and riding trails a mile from campground. There is also several lakes within a few miles for fishing and water sports. Each camp site has its own fire pit and picnic table. There is water spigots for filling and a dump station for RVs. Firewood for sale for $5 a bundle or 5 bundles for $20. There is no hunting on property. There is also a driving range on site, so bring your clubs and hit a bucket. ($4.00  a bucket. CASH ONLY)

Rustic Cabin #2- Robin's Nest

Cabin #2 is in the middle of the campground and closest to the bathhouse. It is fully furnished (linens are included, doesn't include towels for the bathhouse or personal care items). There is a full size bed, an oversized chair with pull out twin bed, and a twin size mattress in the loft. Loft access is best suitable for children or small adults. The cabin has a maximum capacity of 4 people. There is no running water or toilets in this rustic cabin, it does however have electricity and a propane furnace for heat in the winter months. There is a propane cooktop stove, small fridge with freezer, a microwave, coffee pot, toaster and water dispenser. There is also a small set of pots and pans, cooking utensils and dining plates, cups and utensils.

Rustic Cabin #1 - Melody's Mode

Cabin #1 is on the south end of the campground and has a more rustic feel. It is fully furnished (linens are included, doesn't include towels for the bathhouse or personal care items). Site 1 - PV's Rustic camping in the woods
The site was very spacious for 2 vehicles and 2 tents. I camped with my cousin in early September and it was very quiet. However, there is a family that lives in a trailer home right next to Site 1, and I wasn't sure if they were associated with the campground or just lived that close. They had a couple small dogs that would occasionally bark at us. I could not find the potable water that was advertised on the listing, so that was a small disappointment, and there were no trash bins clearly labeled for campers' use (there was a dumpster closer to the grounds entrance, but I was unsure if it was for us to use). When I reached out to the hosts through Hipcamp asking about firewood, I didnt receive any response from them. We ended up buying wood from a roadside stand nearby. The campground is about 10-12 minutes from town, so that was very convenient for grabbing snacks and supplies at the local Wesco. The bathrooms were very clean and the TP was restocked. On our site there are some nice trees for hammocking too. Overall, we had a pleasant camping experience here and would advise future campers to come prepared with plenty of water and firewood.

Nice and quiet. Many pull through sites. 300’ or less away from water in the off chance you forget to fill up before setting up like I did. I’m sure we’ll be back next year.

Such a nice little piece of land. The bathrooms were immaculate and I even got a hot shower! It is about 300 ft from main road so we could hear some road noise, but it was also nice to be able to go grab ice, etc from a nearby gas station when needed. Great experience overall :)

We had a great stay. There was a playground, volleyball court, and pavilion with lights that come on at night which was wonderful for walking around in the dark as it was centrally located to help light the path to the bath house. The bathrooms were clean and we were happy to have flushing toilets and a shower. It was quiet while we were there and our site was spacious.

I loved it. It was clean and spacious. Only thing is the trailer that took away from the nature. Other than that, everything was great.

Really nice and quiet campground. Clean bathroom and shower. The host Danielle is amazing and gave me some great tips on where to go fishing and swimming near by. She also went above and beyond by mailing me my dogs e-collar I left behind. Will definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

PV Campground is peaceful and off the beaten path. It full of mature trees and I enjoyed watching a variety of birds! The bathhouse was an added bonus!

Great little place! Sites are well spaced out and have plenty of room. Theres a lovely playground area and a charming heated bathhouse. Great area for hiking and enjoying the outdoors!

Really great and quiet campsite ( minus my kids, sorry 😂). The campsites were spacious and clean, my kids loved the playground, and it was a pretty spot. My only Gripe was there was no firewood for sale on site.

My father and I had an amazing Labor Day weekend staying here. It was easy to find, the campsite was super clean and peaceful. The bathrooms and showers are extremely clean and very nice. This site is close to lots of things in the area. We went hiking, biking, and rode electric scooters on a bike path within 20 minutes of our camp. Evenings were peaceful and we both slept great. Will definitely be back when we come back to this area. Can't beat it for the price, cleanliness, and peace.

Great cabin with everything that we needed. Folks were friendly, the bath house and cabin were both clean and well stocked with necessities. We would recommend this campground to anyone looking for some peace and quite among the trees.

Just what I was looking for. Quiet and serene. Great restrooms. (location and condition) We stayed on a rustic tent site. It was a spacious wooded lot and had a nice fire ring and a picnic table.

Spent 3 days here and would recommend, however the campsites are very close together and we only had privacy because no one else was camping while we were there. Very cute spot off the road with good hiking trails nearby and good views of the stars on a clear night

We recently stayed at this family-owned campsite and had a wonderful experience. The campsite was clean, well-kept, and easy to find. The hosts were fantastic—responsive, accommodating, and even left firewood (we paid), which was a nice touch. The other residents were quiet and friendly, creating a pleasant and peaceful atmosphere. While there were a couple of unexpected noises during our stay, like some nearby dogs barking and music from another neighboring campground, these were minor and likely specific to that weekend. Overall, we highly recommend this campsite for its cleanliness, excellent hosts, and friendly environment. We look forward to visiting again!

My husband loves to camp and wanted to share that with me and the kids. We chose this site because it seemed very kid friendly. It was more than he hoped for. They have an amazing area of games and a play place with swings so our kids never got bored. The owners were incredibly amazing and check on us just enough so we never felt ignored, but just little enough that we didn't feel like they were always around. We will definitely be back again.
