A great cabin in a really cool spot. Def worth a second visit
The cabin had everything you could possibly need for an off the grid stay! Rick is nice and very helpful but gives you space to enjoy to peace and quiet of the Woods.

Really enjoyed my stay on Ricks property, it has everything you need to relax and recharge. The property is beautiful, well groomed trails with fun/clever decor hidden in the trees. Perfect place for my dog to roam off leash. Wish I could’ve stayed all week! Thanks again Rick :)
Such a perfect location! It was great for a few days of a father/son getaway. The cabin felt very secluded and yet it was still a short drive to activities. Rick is a great host and we would definitely stay here again!

We had such a wonderful stay at Rick’s cabin. It’s a clean, cozy, truly off-grid escape surrounded by beautiful forest, ferns, trees, and tall grasses. We loved the quiet, the nature walks, and especially sitting by the fire with plenty of wood to keep it going.
Close enough to Cadillac for anything you need, but far enough away to feel like you’ve really gotten away. Exactly the peaceful nature escape we were looking for. We were genuinely sad to leave and would happily go back!

My pup and I looooved staying at Rick’s cabin! The cabin was stocked with everything I needed which made it such an easy and relaxing stay. Rick was also super helpful and responsive. I will definitely be back!

Wonderfully placed in the woods with everything you need. The only thing I would do differently is to spray something for mosquitoes other than that it was a perfect stay and I was pleasantly surprised by the outhouse. It was relatively clean and not bad ant all, very impressed with my stay. Will definitely come back! Rick was very nice and hospitable…
We had a great time here! The cabin was well stocked and kept us warm all night. It was far enough from Rick’s house that it still felt very private, but we knew he was accessible if we needed anything. He was a great host, and we plan to come back again!

The landscape was really pretty, there were trails to hike. There was some fun decorative humor around the site:). There were lots of this and that to make for the perfect off grid experience.

Beautiful setting of pines and ferns. Awesome little cabin, well equipped for primitive camping. Nice big fire pit and free firewood. The bed was comfortable ❤️

This place is beautiful!!! It’s peaceful and well maintained! Rick is so kind and helpful!! He made sure we stayed stocked with fire wood. The cabin is so well stocked! From pans, and chairs, to dog tie outs, ! I would definitely bring any and all mosquito repellent you can think of lol. Therma cell worked well. We will be back! And thank you again Rick!

Rick and Jack are excellent hosts. The cabin is an absolute gem for a secluded getaway. It comes with everything you need - from bedding to firewood! You won't even miss electricity! We will definitely be back!

Very private and quiet. We really enjoyed our stay. It is absolutely beautiful in the trails! It was well stocked in blankets, firewood, propane tank, etc. We liked the fire pit and the view.
This is a great cabin. Appreciate all the supplies that are available. We forgot to bring fuel for the stove and there was plenty in the cabin the for us for the weekend. Ricky is kind and welcoming. This was my 2nd visit would definitely recommend.
Rick and the cabin were fantastic! 2 kids 2 adults for 2 nights, we were comfortable and warm through an entire day of freezing rain. We will be back to experience it in sun and snow.
It was a great cabin just as expected. We had a wonderful time winter camping. Stayed warm and toasty inside the cabin with the wood burning stove. I was impressed with all the extra things in the cabin like a spatula which was very handy for breakfast when we made pancakes. I would 100% go back. Beautiful experience.

Everything you need for a beautiful secluded off grid experience. Excellent snow shoeing all over the property. He was very accommodating. Showed me around, helped get me acclimated & kept me stocked up with wood on the cold February nights. Will definitely be back.

Awesome cabin! Great property with lots of trails to explore, cozy cabin with very effective wood stove. Lots of privacy and a very quiet location, would stay again.
Nice little cabin with a wood stove! Rick was a super friendly host and easy to work with. Made a great stopping point for our trip!
We loved camping at Rick’s! The cabin was well stocked with spices, flashlights, cozy and nice bedding. Rick resupied firewood for us and pointed out the trails to explore. The view from the cabin porch was beautiful with lots of colorful trees. The firepit was huge and we used the grates to cook over the fire. We’re coming back next summer!
Rick's place was such a gift. There were so many signs of thoughtfulness and insight into his prepared mind. Not only was the cabin equipped w/ basics but he also offers extras such as raincoats, hammocks, and what not. The property is well cared for, he has beautifully growing plants on the front porch The outhouse was actually nice, well stocked, and it was clean! The cabin too, was very clean, cleanest tiny cabin in woods I've seen yet! I like how he designed and decorated the cabin, it felt much bigger than it was. The framed bear art was so enjoyable to look at, each time I'd find something I hadn't before. It was like a mix between a Hieronymus Bosch piece and a teddy bears picnic! I highly recommend, he's a really nice easy going guy, pleasant to communicate with.

Rick's cabin is great and the surrounding land is beautiful and peaceful. This was my 2nd stay at Rick's and I look forward to next year!
Wonderful little place! It was perfect! My dog enjoyed some much needed play time off leash. Everything about it was great! We will be back!
