Campit is a wonderful place for the LGBTQIA+ community and allies to relax and recreate with each other. The property is beautiful, and the people are genuine.

Everyone there was very nice. The cabin we got was very cozy and comfortable, and the vibes were good overall. The site is also in a very nice location. It’s very quiet, and it’s a good place for stargazing! It’s also very close to a lot of different small business that were very lovely to explore! 10/10 would recommend this place!

I thoroughly enjoyed my second visit to Campit. It was even better than my last visit two weeks ago. This time I booked for Creekside and was much closer to the Clubhouse. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The accommodations were great, very comfortable and had everything I needed. I hope to visit again soon.

my day was absolutely phenomenal when we checked in. It was late, around 11 PM, but they were still so friendly and quick to accommodate. We were told that they had accidentally overbooked the specific site/tent style we had reserved, so as a courtesy, they upgraded us to a lovely little cabin (YESSS!) with a hot shower and bathroom as well as an electric fireplace and air conditioning unit. What a lovely surprise! The staff was super helpful and accommodating, and the grounds are absolutely lovely as are all the other guests!

Creekside Open Tenting
I’m a fairly experienced tent camper but this was my first time going solo, and I couldn’t have picked a better spot! Creekside was beautiful, wooded, and quiet, but not too far from all the action. As a disabled person I had no issues getting around from my site at the end of the road.
The staff were all super friendly, the weekend events were a blast, and I even ran into (and made some new) friends! Can’t wait to bring my partner back here for another lil getaway.

Had such a great time! The pool and facilities are very nice. The staff were so nice and everyone was so friendly. If you’re staying creekside, it’s walk-in, so the car goes in the lot just around the bend. Will be returning!

Very cool place to disperse camp. I had the full campground to myself on the week day and it was peaceful, clean and accommodating. The weekend was party central. Hipcamp noted that it's LGBTQ+ friendly but it's more like hetero friendly. It is a gay oasis that's inclusive to everyone, so be prepared to enjoy yourself in a judgment free zone. I would go back with friends one day.

This was an amazing fun -friendly place to camp! We will definitely be coming back! There were activities and fun things to do all weekend! It had a great pool, store and beautiful community of people with options to stay in peaceful-quiet zones or whoop it up. We enjoyed both!

Camping at Campit is something I would recommend over and over again!! My boyfriend and I did everything we could to get our shifts covered and extended our stay by another two nights!!! The camp ground is massive, beautiful beautiful beautiful scenery, amazing people, fun events and activities, so welcoming, I could go on forever!! I made so many new friends and I can’t wait to come back!! I’ve been singing the praises about Campit to everyone I know because I truly felt so happy and had so much fun here. Thank you to everyone at Campit for changing my life and I can’t wait to come back<3

What a wonderful surprise this camp turned out to be! The staff was kind and welcoming and the crowd was fun and friendly. The tent was large with an air mattress and at one in the morning withstood a severe thunderstorm without a drop getting inside! We are coming back to this spot again and again!

Everyone we met were very nice and helpful. The campsite was great with a nice canopy to provide shade. We were close to the pool area, so there was a chill music vibe throughout the day. We really enjoyed our night there. We were there on a Sunday night when people had cleared out, only a couple of campsites in our area were also being used. Facilities were clean and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

It was simply more than I expected as a lesbian woman I thought it would be all men when it says lgbtq! It was definitely mixed and everyone was very welcoming no drama! Also as an African American group in west Michigan prior thoughts were idk but again everyone welcome and loving towards everyone! Fun and I love the different event and festivals that are hosted! Only down side although dog friendly, my lil Chihuahua is quite and harmless but was not allowed at the pool so it limited our time there as we couldn’t leave her alone in our tents! Maybe doggie daycare for future lol! But we love love love and will be back again ❤️ 10/10 recommend

My lady and I needed to get away. So we looked up some campgrounds in Michigan. We came across camp it. We booked our stay and I have to tell you it was probably one of the best camping trips. Either one of us has ever had both individually and together. Everyone and I mean everyone was absolutely friendly for both of us. We will definitely look into booking time there again.

We LOVED camping here! We went to a different spot a few miles up the street and it wasn't anything we were expecting so we ended up leaving. Campit accommodated us LAST minute, was CHEAPER, and just beautiful! We will definitely be back here. The grounds were beautiful and kept up on, the staff was so friendly. We stayed in a tent and the style camping they have going on is just awesome.

This was my first time using Hipcamp and I had no clue what I was doing. Randy was awesome, super communicative and understanding. The environment was warm and friendly. Everyone I talked to was so kind!! That space holds the same time of happy vibe festivals do. Magic. I will definitely be back if I’m in the area :))
