It all started when grandfather Charles B Wright first establish this farm in 1904. He purchased it for its natural springs. In our barn (now home to Gardiner Brewing Company) he had gravity fed water troughs for his cattle. Since then we have slowly switched from animals to tree fruit. You will enjoy rolling hills of fruit trees and fruit gardens along with beautiful views of the Shawangunk Mountain Ridge. We have 450+ acres so it in very private.
As we are a working farm, you can see us driving pass with our tractors or maintaining the orchard around your campsite on occasion. You are welcome to ride your bikes, hike or jog where you will pass ponds and a working farm landscape. Please don’t pick our fruit. If you would like to enjoy the fruits of our labor please visit our farm store open year round on the premises where we sell cheeses, our fresh picked fruit and veggies, local meats, and our famous cider donuts along with other farm products. We also have a farm brewery open 3-7 in our old dairy barn for you to enjoy. Live music Saturdays and Sundays. Minnewaska State Park and Mohonk Reserve are only 10 minutes away. The rail trail is three minutes away. This trail gives you walking and biking access into New Paltz, where there is tons of restaurants and lots of shopping.
Please be aware that during the months of September and October there may be a Pick-Your-Own customer or two walking around picking apples around the campsite area between the hours of 10:00-6:00. You are also welcome to come down to the farm market and purchase bags to pick your own apples in season.

Our 75 acres is a wonderful, diverse mix of habitat, harmoniously integrated with our small farm. This land was the homestead of the very first non native settler of the area, John Wiley, in 1787. Before that, it was the land of the Mahican native Americans. They named it "valley of the butternut trees", or Wyomanock.
The Wyomanock Creek is the backbone of this little valley. Beaver have dammed the creek at several points to create ponds and other wetland features that support a diversity of wildlife including otter, moose and a myriad of birds, from osprey to herons. This sanctuary is host to many uncommon native plants and plant communities. We would love to share it with you!
Your host, Thom, invites you to property to explore 75 acres of meadows, woods and water. Choose one of several sites either in the woods or open areas. You are also free to use our outdoor solar shower or take a dip in the cold pond or artesian spring fed pool.
Our location is convenient to the Berkshire Mountains, state parks, hiking and other attractions, including Ramble Wild tree to tree adventures and Jiminy Peak. There are a few miles of rail trail access just down the road.

Relax at Tilden Hill Farm its a 155 acre farm raising Black Angus Cattle it has been in the Brewer family for seven generations. Founded in 1798 by Josiah Brewer, the farm has served as a grist mill, chicken farm, cheese factory.
We offer several types of site selection for your comfort. Choose from our private tent camping to relaxing RV sites. Our tent sites are quiet and scenic, just a quick walk down to the pond. Some of our sites you can park next to, but a few you will have to walk ~100 yards with your belongings. There are 2 bath houses on the campground with hot showers and toilets.
All sites include a fire pit and picnic table. We have 10 full hook up sites (water/electric/sewer) and 9 sites with water and electric. There is a dump station and fire wood available to all for a fee.

Our slice of paradise consists of 225 acres of forested land nestled in the foothills of the Catskills near Albany. We are a homestead and small campground devoted to the principles of organic farming and self-reliance. Modern agriculture and big business are unsustainable, destroying farmland at an accelerating pace. It is important for us to teach the next generation, there is an alternative. We produce much of our own food. We have friendly goats, chickens, ducks, peacocks, donkeys and horses the guests can pet and feed. There are no swimming holes on our property, but many waterfalls and swimming spots within a short drive (see list below). A quick 5 minute drive will get you to one of the best disc golf courses in the north east. For the truly adventurous, Clarksville Cave is a short drive away. Slate Valley Trails and Merck Forest are close by. Places to picnic, enjoy the sunset, and idle are a plenty. Our farm stand is stocked with seasonal produce, jams, eggs, and bagged ice. Spring water is available. Excellent locally burgers, steaks, chicken and more are available.

This is a beautiful piece of property located in the heart of the Finger Lakes and Wine Country of NY. It features a stunning spring fed waterfall and nice forest land. Very close to town but also very secluded and private. Great place to unwind and relax from our everyday lives. It is situated however in a gully next to a creek and waterfall so it is susceptible to heavy rains. It is recommended to at least have an AWD vehicle if rainy. I can usually help campers with getting to the site in my side X side if you need to park up at the pasture. Please order enough wood initially as I have found I spend a lot of time delivering extra wood to campers. It seems as if you will typically go through 2 bundles per night on average. Also I supply a contractor size garbage bag to you if you choose garbage removal. It is also a good idea to text me when you have a solid ETA so I can be here to take you to the site. I want to mention that the two sites closest to the waterfall are a slight hike in and can only accommodate up to 4 person tents so if a bigger group or vehicle camping you will be placed at another site. For generations, the majestic waterfall has been revered for its spectacular beauty. It’s considered a sacred site central to local land rematriation work with the Kanienkeha:ka.
Coursing between two outcroppings in a deep ravine, the waterfall crashes down over mossy rock shelves into emerald swimming holes and through dramatic clay beds. It’s one of those extraordinary spots on earth that make you feel like you’re in another world. The sites aren’t suitable for parties or loud groups.
It's about a 10 minute hike to the waterfall where you can spend the day swimming, exploring the clay beds and looking for fossils in the 280 million year old gorge. In the evening, make a campfire and fall asleep under the stars listening to the river below.
The hike is steep and appropriate footwear is required. All hiking is at your own risk. Although your path to the waterfall is private and the waterfall is on private property, there may be other guests or locals that access the waterfall further down the road. There is no glass or alcohol allowed at the falls.
Be aware that you may hear your camping neighbors in the woods. For this reason, we ask that you don’t play amplified music and keep noise down after 10pm to enjoy the sounds of frogs, crickets, owls, and night songs of the countryside
At the entrance to the campsites there is a barn community room with a charging station, cold water sink, fridge, coffee maker, cookware, and a port-a-potty. There are 5 gallon solar shower bags that you can use at your campsite. You are responsible for filling them and putting them in the sun to heat the water.
This is a leave no trace site. Take all your trash with you when you leave. Bring your own biodegradable soap for dishes and toilet paper for the port-a-potty!
Firewood is available onsite for $1 per log.
The Schoharie Valley is said to be the most fertile valley east of the Mississippi. It is still wild, unspoiled country and there are many local farms stands with fresh produce and organic meat close by.
Within a 5 miles radius is a general store, Scrumpy Ewe Cidery, Panther Creek Arts, Rooted Movement, the Sap Bush Country Store and Café, and Mustang Valley (a wild mustang sanctuary). Nearby hikes include Looking Glass Pond and Vroman's Nose, and others.

Primitive Camp on the Esopus Creek in the Big Indian-Oliverea Valley surrounded by seven 3500' Catskill High Peaks including Slide Mountain, the tallest in the Catskills. Our PRIVATE camp (no other campers) is situated on 100 acres of land in the middle of the Catskill State Park. We are the closest HipCamp site to Slide Mountain, the Catskills tallest peak at 4180 feet. A perfect base camp for some of the best hiking in the Catskills, the site is bordered by Forever Wild Forest and is minutes from the trailheads to Balsam, Giant Ledge, Panther, Big Indian, Slide Mountain and dozens more peaks within 30 minutes or so away.
Though the base fee covers up to 4 campers, the site accommodates up to 14 campers. The additional fee is $20.00/per camper per night on top of the base fee.
Our drive up camp includes a 10X12 covered tent platform, several individual tent sites with private fire rings, as well as a bunkhouse and a leanto for day use. The camp table and cook pit are covered from the elements.
The camp also features the newly designed and built 'Little Bear Cabin', an 11X14 cabin that sleeps 6 with covered porch, with two Queen sized and one double bunk and comfortable 4" thick Thermarest MondoKing mattresses, chairs and a table with a wood burning stove for those chilly nights. The cabin has an additional fee of $30.00/night and can be booked in the extras section at check-out. The cabin does not include bedding so bring your own gear. If tent camping only, the cabin will remain locked and closed unless requested after arrival.
For toilet use, we have a CleanWaste loo which is a 5 gal bucket in a toilet seat box. You lift the lid, place a CleanWaste bag in the bucket which has a kitty litter like powder called Poo Powder in it. You do your business, the powder absorbs all the odor and gels all the matter. When done, you lift the seat, take out the bag, tie it up and throw it in the trash.
There are camp rules about how to handle trash, recycling, and compost so as to minimize the possibility of black bear visits. Follow those rules so as to avoid a penalty fees of $50.00 if trash, recycling, and compost are not followed. A detailed message about trash, recycling, and compost practice will be sent to campers days before the booked trip.
Seasoned bundled 16" firewood is available by honor box cash payment on Brown rd across the camp entry road.

The site was very well put together and had everything you could possibly need a toilet, water for showering, dishes, a Coleman cooler, a shaded picnic table, a lamp, speaker by coleman, even a fan…. you name it, they had it! And they even provided free firewood! 🔥
This place is truly magical. My dogs absolutely loved it, and we had such a cozy, relaxing weekend. 🐶❤️ We’ll definitely be back!

Our stay on Pierre’s land was absolutely perfect. We had a group of 9 people and still had plenty room for more. Pierre was also such a great host. When we arrived it was raining pretty hard and Pierre offered us the cabin for the weekend which we gladly took advantage of. Not only that but this site is perfectly setup for rain/storm situations. We loved the coverage over the kitchen and cooking area so you can comfortably hang out or cook with the separate fire place that was under the overhang. Being on the creek was magical and lulled us to sleep every night. We also really enjoyed the peacefulness of being the only campers on the land. We got to enjoy the watering hole, which Pierre lead us to when we couldn’t find it and even gave us fresh peaches after I time in the sun and creek. We were also grateful to meet Pierre’s Maine coons! Another highlight of our stay. Overall we were very happy with our creekside campsite and will be looking forward to coming back next year. Thanks Pierre!

We had an incredible experience at Historic Riverside Farm! I stayed at Campsite 1 with my son and a friend, and we had an amazing weekend.
We love fishing, and having the river right next to our campsite was perfect. We caught several smallmouth bass and some big catfish. 🎣 For anyone who loves fishing, nightcrawlers and small spoons worked really well for us!
The campsite is beautiful, peaceful, clean and well organized. Site 1 has plenty of shade, trees for hammocks, a picnic table, and a clean portable toilet nearby.
Melissa was an amazing host and very kind to us. She even brought firewood directly to our campsite, and we bought a couple dozen fresh eggs from the farm — highly recommended!
I also flew my drone over the property and noticed a huge peace symbol cut into the landscape, which was really cool.
This has definitely been my favorite camping trip this summer. Great fishing, beautiful surroundings and a wonderful host. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you, Melissa!

Riverside campsite is a really special place. It’s isolated yet accessible. The campgrounds and the entire property is very well maintained. My 4 year-old particularly loved going up the road to use the old-school water pump to get freshwater. The river itself is not very deep and doesn't flow fast so it’s not a dangerous high-alert situation with children. There are a lot of bugs, but thats camping. Unavoidable. Sam the host was kind and welcoming.

We loved this spot. Our hosts we responsive with the small niceties that they offered (eggs and campfire wood). The location is well maintained and the tent platform was appreciated. Definitely recommend.

Very clean restrooms and showers. RV spots were roomy and the spot we had was full hookup.
The whole area was clean and neat. It had the county feel with the pasture and trees. A very relaxing time there.

Hucklebuck Railway Campground was an amazing experience! Our family had the best time and thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the campground and the surrounding area. Paula and Bill organized everything in such a thoughtful way that we had way we needed as novice campers. They were responsive whenever we needed anything and gave suggestions for places to view the abundant wildlife. My children and fur babies loved being next to the water most of all. Truly this is a hidden treasure and we’re already planning our next trip back! Again thank you Paula and Bill for your hospitality and accommodating our families every need!

We had a lovely time staying on Sharon’s property. There is a beautiful little pond that is perfect for a swim, rolling hills with wildflowers, spectacular views and a great place to enjoy the night sky. Sharon is very helpful and friendly and my dog got along well with her pups. I look forward to staying there again!

Absolutely beautiful! The park like setting, spacious sights, nice store selection, the farm was fabulous. The trails are great, animals are so fun to watch. Ken and his wife were very responsive hosts, we are glad they are sharing their family farm with others. We enjoyed our stay so much, we decided to stay another night! Stay, you will not be sorry!
