Peaceful camping
This is a beautiful farm with 2 ponds, walking and biking trails, and easy access to the interstate highway. We loved campsite 5 for its serenity. Birds and bullfrogs serenade you in the evening.

We were there for a NICA race and the trails were great! Loved the group camping option and the property is beautiful! Ken was an amazing host and is easy to get a hold of for any questions or concerns. I highly recommend staying here and we are looking forward to returning there very soon!

Wonderful camping experience!
We LOVED experiencing Ken’s beautiful land! We had a blast talking about the history of the land and walking all around the area! My husband even got to take a ride on his mountain bike using the mountain bike trails! We will definitely be back!

Great place to visit!
Great spot for tent camping, biking and frishing, we will be recommending friends of ours to camp there. Trails are well maintained, bathrooms were clean and campsites had plenty of room with firepits and wood was available. Can't wait to visit again.

Loved our first night in our RV!
Ken was a great host and the camping ground was perfect. We had our RV at site 5 and it was so peaceful to have the entire area to ourselves. The trails were perfect for our dog to adventure. Everyone was so friendly and helpful.

Beautiful Land
We were thrilled to find this great camping spot towing our travel trailer on our way west. It was open off season, was reasonably near I90 but not so close that we heard the highway. Great price and with the electrical hook-up we were looking for. Ken responded with only a few hours notice and was there to greet us. Beautiful land, clean and well kept campsites, plenty of free firewood to gather. We hiked by the pond and through the beautiful trails in the woods at dusk. We will make a point to stay here again when we travel this way.

Site 1 - Tilden Hill Farm
Awesome Hipcamp!
We loved our stay at Tilden Hill Farm. Ken was a great host and has a wonderful set up for camping for Rv's and tenters alike. We stayed at site 1 near the pond and had electric and water hook up. We experienced a beautiful sunset while enjoying a fire in the large fire ring. Ken said he is the 7th generation of Tilden's and the farm has been passed down from son to son for 225 years! We only spent one night so we didn't get a chance to bike the extensive trail system on the property. We saw several folks hiking back with fishing poles so we assumed there is river fishing access on the property. The families tenting on the large level green space had plenty of room to play games and enjoyed looking for frogs in the little pond that we were parked beside. We travel route 90 often and we'll stay at Tilden Hill Farms the next time we pass through.

Site 6 - Tilden Hill Farm
Sheer Perfection
We were so happy that someone recommended this place. Words cannot describe the beauty. Not only did Ken meet us upon arrival and allow us to fill up our fresh water tank at his barn (due to winter in NY most camps have shut the water off). He proceeded to direct us as to where to go and let us know about the trails. Unfortunately we became ill and didn't get physically explore, but we're able to drive around and check it out a bit. There's an amazing cabin on the water and we saw a little amphitheater as well. Our spot is directly on the pond. I can't express what a phenomenal spot it is. We can't wait to book a stay next summer. My grandkids came out to visit and loved it...as does my dog. This is our favorite camp to date. Highly recommend!

Tilden Hill Farm
Tilden Hill is absolutely the biggest location we've stayed at. The owner welcomed us upon arrival. We were able to back in and fill up the fresh water tank at the barn. Our site is right on the pond, with a spectacular view. Unfortunately we ended up getting sick and were unable to explore all of the trails. But we were able to drive down and see that there's a really cool little cabin right on the water. The view is spectacular! We also noticed there's a really cool little amphitheater. We can't wait to book another stay when we come back to visit family next summer.

Beautiful location and great hosts!
Ken’s land reflects a serious effort to provide for a top rate camping experience! I have stayed twice now. I cannot endorse the experience enough! Ken is attentive and very accommodating. The campsites, whether power and water rv sites or wooded sites with easy access to water and porta-potties are well spaced for privacy (tent sites are easily a few hundred yards) and extremely well maintained. We have hip camped across the country. In an area (central NY) where you may not expect it, this is a rural and forested experience on an active farm. The experience rivals the best of our hipcamp experiences, including miles of wooded trails on site for walking and mountain biking. Our son is a student at Syracuse, so this location is a thirty minute drive from there -an easy distance. One can be at a ball game and dinner in the city and enjoying a nightcap around the fire on the same evening! Ken’s hipcamp is a service to those visiting the region. He and his family clearly enjoy sharing their property and all it has to offer. Additionally, they take making the experience memorable for their campers quite seriously. We are very appreciative!

Overnight camp with my dogs
I stayed overnight at Tilden Farms and it was my first experience with HipCamp. It was wonderful. The set up is spaced out. I had a port a potty close to my site, as well as firewood stored in the shed. I travelled with my two dogs and there is plenty of trails on the property. I didn’t have enough time there. Loved seeing the cows in the field next to the site. I would highly recommend and will come back next time in the area!

Site 6 - Tilden Hill Farm
Lovely spot.
This was a lovely spot. We parked next to the pond and had a great camp fire. It was quiet, surrounded by woods and cows! It was close to Syracuse and Rome. The best of suburbs and rural farm life. Ken was friendly and accommodating.
I would go back!
