Founded in 1798 by Josiah Brewer, the farm has served as a grist mill, chicken farm, cheese factory. We offer several types of site selection for your comfort. Choose from our private tent camping to relaxing RV sites. Our tent sites are quiet and scenic, just a quick walk down to the pond. Some of our sites you can park next to, but a few you will have to walk ~100 yards with your belongings. There are 2 bath houses on the campground with hot showers and toilets. All sites include a fire pit and picnic table. We have 10 full hook up sites (water/electric/sewer) and 9 sites with water and electric. There is a dump station and fire wood available to all for a fee. Once settled in, take a meandering walk through our 12 miles of walking trails or find your way down to our pond. Each FHU (Full hook-up) site has 50/30/20 amp, water and sewer hook-up. All crush-stone pads are 75' long. All sites have access to a bath house with hot showers and toilets. There is a picnic table and fire pit provided at each site. Firewood is available for a fee. There is a washer/dryer available in the bath house on Tilden Hill Road entrance. Be sure to stop by The Market on Townline Road and pick up some black angus beef, local honey, maple syrup and homemade jam.

So very glad we chose to stay at Tilden Farms, the property was immaculate, so very well kept & the trails were many & glorious! They also have a great market store, the steaks from the Angus cattle they raise were truly amazing! Really nice set up with great beef and other meets, with honey, maple syrup and other goodies. Bathrooms are clean and extremely functional! I’ll note that it is a bit difficult to understand what you are getting when you choose A-F, as you are not on a lake as the picture suggests, but text Ken and he can provide more granularity and help you choose a spot. He is very responsive. ENJOY!

Tilden Farms certainly earned their spot as the #1 Hip Camp in New York state! We were passing through while biking the entire Erie Canal. This was our favorite campgrounds of all the ones we stayed at! The highlights were definitely visiting the baby goats and also doing some boating on a private lake. We didn't get a chance to hike the trails but saw there are lots of options! The tent sites themselves are in the woods with plenty of space. The maple trees around them are tapped for syrup, which you can purchase in the camp store. We enjoyed some farm-fresh bacon and eggs from the camp store! Some other notes: We originally booked site 5 but ended up at site 2. Sites 1-3 are more conveniently located near the bathroom, if that's something you'd prefer. No power at the tent sites, so be sure to plan ahead for that. The bathroom/shower house seemed basically new! Great setup for those!

This was a really beautiful and quiet place to stay! The amenities were exactly what you needed, no more, nothing less. Size wise in terms of campers was great and sites were spaced nicely. This was our first trip in our new travel trailer and using hipcamp. The sites were large, all amenities worked as expected, bathrooms clean, and camp store has just about everything you might need to make a few meals. Ken stopped by to say Hi and was always around - just in case - but all the other campers were friendly but kept to themselves too. The sites without sewer are quieter as they’re a bit further from the highways, but this isn’t a complaint just observation. We are considering when our next stay will be; absolutely coming back!

Second time camping in this spot -- enjoyed it a lot. Found a clearing perfect for pitching an extra tarp, and some trees supporting a hammock. Unfortunately did not make it to see the goats this time, but we have something to look forward to next time.

Very clean restrooms and showers. RV spots were roomy and the spot we had was full hookup. The whole area was clean and neat. It had the county feel with the pasture and trees. A very relaxing time there.

Just WOW! We came with our pop-up and wished we' planned for a few more days. There was plenty of room. Our dog was able to explore the field on her run and had a great time. Amenities were clean and well maintained and there were very few bugs. We'll definitely have to come back!

Tilden Hill has a really ideal mix of very attractive sites, as well as the surrounding farm which has miles of well maintained trails. And Ken is a super host - friendly, attentive and knowledgeable.

Absolutely beautiful! The park like setting, spacious sights, nice store selection, the farm was fabulous. The trails are great, animals are so fun to watch. Ken and his wife were very responsive hosts, we are glad they are sharing their family farm with others. We enjoyed our stay so much, we decided to stay another night! Stay, you will not be sorry!

I would totally camp at Tilden Farm again. Communication before was thorough & appreciated. Tent camp has great shade & the bath house is super clean (and has hot water!), and goats over the top cute 🥰 Wished I’d had time to hike or bike more of the trails.
