It all started when grandfather Charles B Wright first establish this farm in 1904. He purchased it for its natural springs. In our barn (now home to Gardiner Brewing Company) he had gravity fed water troughs for his cattle. Since then we have slowly switched from animals to tree fruit. You will enjoy rolling hills of fruit trees and fruit gardens along with beautiful views of the Shawangunk Mountain Ridge. We have 450+ acres so it in very private.
As we are a working farm, you can see us driving pass with our tractors or maintaining the orchard around your campsite on occasion. You are welcome to ride your bikes, hike or jog where you will pass ponds and a working farm landscape. Please don’t pick our fruit. If you would like to enjoy the fruits of our labor please visit our farm store open year round on the premises where we sell cheeses, our fresh picked fruit and veggies, local meats, and our famous cider donuts along with other farm products. We also have a farm brewery open 3-7 in our old dairy barn for you to enjoy. Live music Saturdays and Sundays. Minnewaska State Park and Mohonk Reserve are only 10 minutes away. The rail trail is three minutes away. This trail gives you walking and biking access into New Paltz, where there is tons of restaurants and lots of shopping.
Please be aware that during the months of September and October there may be a Pick-Your-Own customer or two walking around picking apples around the campsite area between the hours of 10:00-6:00. You are also welcome to come down to the farm market and purchase bags to pick your own apples in season.

For July 4th weekend, and Labor Day weekend drive-up sites are a 2 night minimum. In the off season starting after Thanksgiving through April, there is no water or toilet or shower facilities available. Please check for exact dates.
Our 75 acres is a wonderful, diverse mix of habitat, harmoniously integrated with our small farm. This land was the homestead of the very first non native settler of the area, John Wiley, in 1787. Before that, it was the land of the Mahican native Americans. They named it "valley of the butternut trees", or Wyomanock.
The Wyomanock Creek is the backbone of this little valley. Beaver have dammed the creek at several points to create ponds and other wetland features that support a diversity of wildlife including otter, moose and a myriad of birds, from osprey to herons. This sanctuary is host to many uncommon native plants and plant communities. We would love to share it with you!
Your host, Thom, invites you to property to explore 75 acres of meadows, woods and water. Choose one of several sites either in the woods or open areas. You are also free to use our outdoor solar shower or take a dip in the cold pond or artesian spring fed pool.
Our location is convenient to the Berkshire Mountains, state parks, hiking and other attractions, including Ramble Wild tree to tree adventures and Jiminy Peak. There are a few miles of rail trail access just down the road.

A grassy meadow nestled between a forested ridge the Wallkill Valley Rail Trail, an open access walking and bike path. The Rosendale Rail Trail Cafe is just across the meadow from you and Rosendale trestle bridge is a short bike or walk away.
We do have hot water showers and heated bathrooms in the Owlwood. Use our hand drawn map to find your way around the farm.
Please drive extremely slowly while on the farm road, there and kids and critters everywhere and your car will thank you! Also, we encourage everyone to drive as little as possible while on the farm, why drive when you can walk and enjoy the land.
If you want to sleep in a car or rv make sure to contact us so we can let you know where to car camp. No cars are allowed in Red Fox Meadow. Also, if the meadow seems too wet to camp give us a shout, there are other areas to camp that are dryer in the wet moments, just not as private.

Relax at Tilden Hill Farm its a 155 acre farm raising Black Angus Cattle it has been in the Brewer family for seven generations. Founded in 1798 by Josiah Brewer, the farm has served as a grist mill, chicken farm, cheese factory.
We offer several types of site selection for your comfort. Choose from our private tent camping to relaxing RV sites. Our tent sites are quiet and scenic, just a quick walk down to the pond. Some of our sites you can park next to, but a few you will have to walk ~100 yards with your belongings. There are 2 bath houses on the campground with hot showers and toilets.
All sites include a fire pit and picnic table. We have 10 full hook up sites (water/electric/sewer) and 9 sites with water and electric. There is a dump station and fire wood available to all for a fee.
Once settled in, take a meandering walk through our 12 miles of walking trails or find your way down to our pond. Water activities are plentiful: fishing for bass, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, we accommodate it all!

This is a beautiful piece of property located in the heart of the Finger Lakes and Wine Country of NY. It features a stunning spring fed waterfall and nice forest land. Very close to town but also very secluded and private. Great place to unwind and relax from our everyday lives. It is situated however in a gully next to a creek and waterfall so it is susceptible to heavy rains. It is recommended to at least have an AWD vehicle if rainy. I can usually help campers with getting to the site in my side X side if you need to park up at the pasture. Please order enough wood initially as I have found I spend a lot of time delivering extra wood to campers. It seems as if you will typically go through 2 bundles per night on average. Also I supply a contractor size garbage bag to you if you choose garbage removal. It is also a good idea to text me when you have a solid ETA so I can be here to take you to the site. I want to mention that the two sites closest to the waterfall are a slight hike in and can only accommodate up to 4 person tents so if a bigger group or vehicle camping you will be placed at another site. For generations, the majestic waterfall has been revered for its spectacular beauty. It’s considered a sacred site central to local land rematriation work with the Kanienkeha:ka.
Coursing between two outcroppings in a deep ravine, the waterfall crashes down over mossy rock shelves into emerald swimming holes and through dramatic clay beds. It’s one of those extraordinary spots on earth that make you feel like you’re in another world. The sites aren’t suitable for parties or loud groups.
It's about a 10 minute hike to the waterfall where you can spend the day swimming, exploring the clay beds and looking for fossils in the 280 million year old gorge. In the evening, make a campfire and fall asleep under the stars listening to the river below.
The hike is steep and appropriate footwear is required. All hiking is at your own risk. Although your path to the waterfall is private and the waterfall is on private property, there may be other guests or locals that access the waterfall further down the road. There is no glass or alcohol allowed at the falls.
Be aware that you may hear your camping neighbors in the woods. For this reason, we ask that you don’t play amplified music and keep noise down after 10pm to enjoy the sounds of frogs, crickets, owls, and night songs of the countryside
At the entrance to the campsites there is a barn community room with a charging station, cold water sink, fridge, coffee maker, cookware, and a port-a-potty. There are 5 gallon solar shower bags that you can use at your campsite. You are responsible for filling them and putting them in the sun to heat the water.
This is a leave no trace site. Take all your trash with you when you leave. Bring your own biodegradable soap for dishes and toilet paper for the port-a-potty!
Firewood is available onsite for $1 per log.
The Schoharie Valley is said to be the most fertile valley east of the Mississippi. It is still wild, unspoiled country and there are many local farms stands with fresh produce and organic meat close by.
Within a 5 miles radius is a general store, Scrumpy Ewe Cidery, Panther Creek Arts, Rooted Movement, the Sap Bush Country Store and Café, and Mustang Valley (a wild mustang sanctuary). Nearby hikes include Looking Glass Pond and Vroman's Nose, and others.

Our slice of paradise consists of 225 acres of forested land nestled in the foothills of the Catskills near Albany. We are a homestead and small campground devoted to the principles of organic farming and self-reliance. Modern agriculture and big business are unsustainable, destroying farmland at an accelerating pace. It is important for us to teach the next generation, there is an alternative. We produce much of our own food. We have friendly goats, chickens, ducks, peacocks, donkeys and horses the guests can pet and feed. There are no swimming holes on our property, but many waterfalls and swimming spots within a short drive (see list below). A quick 5 minute drive will get you to one of the best disc golf courses in the north east. For the truly adventurous, Clarksville Cave is a short drive away. Slate Valley Trails and Merck Forest are close by. Places to picnic, enjoy the sunset, and idle are a plenty. Our farm stand is stocked with seasonal produce, jams, eggs, and bagged ice. Spring water is available. Excellent locally burgers, steaks, chicken and more are available as pre-order EXTRAS.

Ugly Apple Farms is a diverse place. We have opportunities for farm classes, pick your own veggies and more. We also have 1800 feet of access to the Neversink River.
We recommend four wheel drive for some of our sites so please ask about them.
We are an off grid farm with access to some solar for charging. We have tent sites and room for campers. Our camping is primitive but there is access to potable water and sanitation if needed. All extras are first come first serve if not reserved in advance. We love and welcome any questions!

This campsite is nestled in the deep woods of a 120 acre farm that offers beautiful views coming and going. After being allowed to use the restroom at the stone farmhouse, you will then go rustic and start your 3/4 - 1 mile hike in (approximately 20 minutes to the campsite) past the fields and pond down the path into the woods. The trail is remote and you will instantly be able to leave the sights and sounds of civilization behind you and breath the clean forest air. Wear good hiking shoes because portions of the hike are uneven and rocky.
This site is best for experienced campers who know how to pack light with just the essentials as there is no tractor service to this campsite.
When you arrive at the campsite, you will be within 20 feet of a year round stream with brook trout and in a hundred foot tall hemlock canopy nestled between two brook meadows. A 9,000 acre forested preserve abuts our property so you will be able to completely relax, bird watch, enjoy the wildlife, or fish for a brook trout breakfast without hearing the sounds of anyone but yourselves.
The campsite has a stone fire pit, split log benches for seating, a canvas privacy blind around a stand of trees where the composting toilet resides, and a food bag lift to attach your food and trash bags to about 100 yards from the campsite.
Unlimited Split firewood is free next to where you will park that you can take down to the site. All trash needs to be carted out with you. We can't accept mixed trash as it will attract animals that will knock over the trashcans and make a mess. No food goes in our personal trashcans as we have learned this the hard way. Thanks!

Wonderful stay at Site 3. It’s tucked away from the other sites and right on the river. The site itself is well maintained and super clean. The farm has nicely manicured pathways for exploring. My dog had a blast running through the fields. Sam and Melissa are very responsive—providing directions to the site, delivering eggs, and checking in about firewood. I appreciated the hospitality. Absolutely plan to come back!

Their farm fresh eggs are delicious (and colorful!) and they're gracious and well organized hosts. Plenty of walking paths to keep kids (and adults) occupied. We hope to come back before too long.

We had an amazing time on site 5 with a group of 14 campers. The property is incredibly beautiful and well maintained, and the river access and views were fantastic. Also the amount of birds and fireflies was a testament to how ecologically healthy and diverse this place was. It was such an awesome time that we are already planning our next trip!

I Enjoyed my weekend at the farm. The trails were really easy to get to, well marked and pleasant to hike on. There were other campers nearby but overall it was very quiet. Would definitely go there again.

Great stay at Tilden Hill Farm. The bathroom and laundry facilities seemed brand new and nicely done! We are hard to impress and it was impressive. The market is great. We bought some of the frozen meat products they sell. The only small issue we had was finding our site since they have 2 entries. Other than that it was a top notch visit. Thanks, Ken!

Wally made things super easy with his clear instructions and well-maintained property. Cell service is a bit spotty, so be prepared for that on the way in, but that is of course a blessing once you arrive and can really disconnect.
The land is absolutely beautiful, well-maintained, and rustic in the best way.
Cannot recommend enough!

Had a lovely stay here, the amenities are all in top shape and Paul&Marilyn are amazing hosts, we felt truly welcomed onto their farm. Staying around the animals added lot of fun, we got lucky with some cute calfs and kids. Watch for the goats, and don't bring your most precious tent!
Definitely worth a fee days here to unwind from the city, expect we'll be making this a regular

Great spot,
Spent the weekend solo camping, Mohonk/ Minnewaska state park are close by , and the on site brewery is the perfect place to be after a long day in the mountains.

The hilltop campsite has an undeniably beautiful view of the mountains! A few things to know going in: there’s no shade at the site, so bring sun protection. It’s also worth knowing that multiple parties can book the site at the same time, we had it to ourselves the first night and was joined by RV campers the second night, so don’t expect total privacy. It would be a perfect spot if you came with your own big group and booked it out together. An amazing plus was having a brewery and farm store just down the road with great food and a live band, really added to the whole experience. Would recommend, just go in knowing you may not have the place to yourself!

Absolutely loved this camping spot. The view is breathtaking and the whole place feels peaceful, private, and very safe. You can really disconnect and relax surrounded by nature. The farm products were delicious and fresh — such a special touch that made the experience even better. Everything was well cared for and welcoming. Definitely a place I would come back to and highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet and beautiful getaway.

Weekend Trip to Wyomanock Farm
Great “glamping” experience! Perfect little spot next to a pond with lots of birds and frogs to watch and listen to. Easy access from the parking lot. Mattress was comfortable and roomy enough for two people. Thom greeted us upon arrival and showed us to the site. He was responsive and very friendly. Didn’t use the grill, but there were all the essentials, including propane and utensils, to dine comfortably. Be prepared for the bugs, but that’s par for any outdoor experience. All in all great stay at Wyomanock Farm!

Amazing place, lots of room to explore, most of the sites are private and spread far apart with a few closer together that would be fun for a larger group.
Dirt roads but I’m in an old rear wheel drive campervan and had no issues after several days of rain.
Clean facilities, well kept trails, cool host.
Have Verizon and was able to get enough bars to download files from a hotspot, was slow but doable.
Would absolutely return.
