Loved staying her, great vibes and wonderful feel. Not very private but also could be. Everyone there seems super kind and friendly if you do run into anyone. Great for dogs, family and base camp!

Nice stop for us passing through on our travel south. Lucked out and got waites landing which is very spacious site. Didn't stay long, just a quick car camp and go. The retro Porta John's, were unique, well worn, but did the trick in the morning before our travel. Bacon egg and cheese is definitely worth grabbing before heading out if you're there passed 8:30. It is a little dicey getting up the hill but doable, I'd imagine rain might make the clay a bit more challenging. The instructions were clear, communication was on point, and (instructions had some clever highlights 👌) but for 25 a person, it was affordable. Our path took us down some beautiful roads.

Wally’s spot is beautiful and peaceful! Wally was very communicative and all the directions were clear and easy to follow. The farmers market down the road is an extra bonus! The spot is in a great location, close to so many great hikes and parks. We will definitely be back!

Rustic Ridge View Farm (near Gunks)
Very nice spot on a hillside overlooking Minnewaska State Park Preserve. I booked this at the very last minute for a bike-packing trip and the host, Wally, immediately sent me very clear instructions on everything I needed to know.
I arrived late in the afternoon, and most of the spots were taken by car campers. I was able to walk my bike up a small hill and found a nice spot overlooking the whole campground. The listing mentions it, but be very cautious if you're driving in and it's been raining recently. I arrived after a solid storm, and the grounds were wet and the driveway incredibly muddy.
Overall a great site, with a friendly host. 10/10 will stay here again. (Also make sure you get a breakfast sandwich in the morning at Damn Good Honey Farmstand which is a 5 min walk down from your camp. One of the best I've ever had!)
