The Riverview site really is beautiful, and it's awesome to wake up to the sounds of the river. We never had a chance to meet Jess and Greg, but they were very nice and responsive when we messaged them and they provided plenty of very clear instructions for how to find the place, where to park, etc. The hike to and from the car is very hilly, so I definitely wouldn't recommend this site to anyone who can't pack their kit down to one or two trips, and for anyone who might show up after dark make sure you have a headlamp. That said, the hike seemed well worth it for the privacy and the sounds of the river. The path from the site down to the river itself is very steep, but there are ropes tied up to make things easier, we came too early in the season for a swim but I'd love to come back in late summer. Just bring bug spray, as it warmed up on our final day the bugs really started coming out - no surprise that close to the water but just something to keep in mind.
