Weekend Trip to Historic Riverside Farm

We camped at Site 2 for 2 nights and it was absolutely perfect. On one side of the campsite is a hill of wildflowers with a bench swing at the top! On the other is the Wallkill River, which offered a cool place for the kids to splash and explore and a calming sound to fall asleep to. The site was clean & easy to access. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful property and campsite. Our host Sarah was super helpful and accommodating with any questions we had. She was quick to respond and friendly. We would definitely love to come back again sometimes.

2 nights at Waterfall Sanctuary & Quiet Retreat

I had a wonderful time at the sacred waterfall property. The hosts were responsive, accomodating and kind. The waterfall itself is one on the most peaceful and awe inspiring places I've ever been. Never more than a party or 2 in addition to us swimming there. Forest cabin was close to the falls, and had just the essentials.

3 nights at SoHi Campground

We spent the July 4th weekend at SoHi in upstate New York, and absolutely loved it! The campground was peaceful, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by stunning natural scenery—perfect for a relaxing holiday escape. The vibe was laid-back but welcoming, and you could tell the owners really care about creating a great experience. Everything was clean and thoughtfully set up, from the campsites to the shared spaces. Whether we were sitting around the campfire at night amazed by the number of fireflies , or just enjoying the fresh mountain air during the day, it felt like a little slice of summer paradise. We’ll definitely be coming back again—already talking about making it a yearly tradition! Highly recommend SoHi to anyone looking for a cozy, scenic spot to unwind and reconnect with nature. Special shout out to Rob! Thank you for being so helpful and friendly during our stay!

3 nights at Issac’s Endless Acres

My stay at Isaac's property was wonderful! He was very communicative. Gave recommendations on where to set up camp, gave detailed instructions and checked in. He offered us water from his well. I brought my dogs and it was wonderful to just let them run wild and not have to worry about any cars or any other groups of people. Will definitely be back again!

Weekend Trip to SoHi Campground

We stayed two nights last weekend and had a great experience. The host was responsive and answered our questions within 30–60 minutes. The campground was easy to find, and the host was very friendly and kind. We were assigned a beautiful, clean spot next to the creek. The toilets and bathrooms were also clean. Our kids enjoyed the playground, and there are plenty of hiking paths nearby. Overall, we had a very good time and would happily come back.

3 nights at SoHi Campground

Had a great time RV camping. Hookup was good and the hosts make sure you’re all situated. They helped us back in and made sure we were able to hook up to everything. There’s good space between you and your neighbors. Showers and toilets were very clean and the upkeep was good. The staff is good about making sure the bathrooms stay clean. People play music and enjoy themselves but it’s still nice and quiet in the evening. Met other campers and most people were friendly. Would refer others to camp there and I would return.

3 nights at Locust Grove Waterfall

Locust Grove was such a magical place.. the sounds of the water and the numerous birds singing their songs with a few sounds of coyotes over the hill you couldn’t ask for a more serene getaway !! We definitely took advantage of the privacy !!! Felt like we were 16 again!!! Will definitely be coming back!!! ❤️❤️❤️

3 nights at Historic Riverside Farm

We loved staying at Riverside Farm the site was very private and very large. The river access was great, just a short walk on a wooded path led to a beautiful spot were we fished sat in tubes and just hung out in the water. The only thing I could say was a little inconvenient was the entrance to the site was a little tight for trailers to navigate around the dumpster through the opening to the path down to the site. But even with that we are definitely coming back.

Weekend Trip to Upper Shire Campsites Hudson Valley

Loved the location and accommodations. Fire pit ready to go with stocked wood. Outdoor shower was great. Quick ride to town and easy to find. 10 out of 10!

Weekend Trip to Wallkill River Camping

Had a great weekend here with my family. The wooded area offered the most privacy, but you also have the choice to set up near the river with plenty of open grass which is also secluded. The hosts were very attentive and nice. There were lots of mosquitoes near the river which is to be expected, but there were less in wooded area. Fishing here was our highlight and we caught lots of catfish. Other campers were tubing and swimming in the river. Only downside is you need take your own garbage with you and there’s no potable water, so make sure you plan accordingly. The outhouse was fairly clean and well maintained considering. A firepit and grill was available on our site. Lots of fireflies and stars at night which was nice to see. We will definitely come back and we would definitely recommend this place!

3 nights at Wallkill River Camping

Highly recommend! We stayed in site 1 and set up our tent in the trees at the top of the hill. Beautiful site with view of the river and the hay field. Short walk to swimming spot by site 3 (muddy but worth it!). A gorgeous place to spend some time! We loved seeing the bats overhead at twilight, the stunning display from the fireflies, waking up to birdsong. Private and quiet. Clean outhouse. Good vibes, friendly host!

1 night at Private campsites miles of trails!

It was private, spacious and wild. I was definitely glad I had a 4 wheel drive vehicle and glad to be wearing long pants. Had I had more time I would have liked to explore some of the trails, fields and creek which were plentiful. Christian was friendly and helpful. It definitely suited my overnight needs for pitching a tent with a fire and privacy.

Beautiful, peaceful location! Extremely well maintained grounds, private camp spots and very well represented on the app. Would recommend, would stay again.

The campground was amazing and very well kept. A minor detail, but delighted to find out when the ground was soft, great for tent camping (site 2). Sam was very helpful in responding to questions.

The site was lovely and a perfect getaway. Instructions were great and the nearby waterfall was so beautiful. Everything was easy and we'd highly recommend. The campsite was within earshot of the road so you could hear when larger trucks would drive by, we didn't mind that but just weren't expecting it.

Weekend Trip to Upper Shire Campsites Hudson Valley

Our group loved staying at the Upper Shire tent site. It was spacious and private with shade available for ~3 tents, a fire pit surrounded by adirondack chairs, and hammocks. The port a potty was clean and the shower hut was a dream. The paths through the property were beautiful and our dog loved splashing around in the pond, though we didn’t get around to using the canoe ourselves. Also, there were magically no bugs at all? I don’t understand the science of that but we were not complaining. Fireflies all night long. We can’t wait to go back!

3 nights at Red Fox Meadow Campsite

big area with lots of fire pits. there is a bath house that is a bit of a walk, but close port-a-potties. The host is part of the cafe, which was an added bonus! The camping part itself was just us and one other couple, but the cafe was busy on the weekend. There is a wooded area as well if you prefer. The ground was only a little soggy while we were there. Super dog friendly! you can hike/bike from the campsite. we did a small hike to the slabs, played in the pond and on some ropes/swings/netting.
