This is a beautiful piece of property located in the heart of the Finger Lakes and Wine Country of NY. It features a stunning spring fed waterfall and nice forest land. Very close to town but also very secluded and private. Great place to unwind and relax from our everyday lives. It is situated however in a gully next to a creek and waterfall so it is susceptible to heavy rains. It is recommended to at least have an AWD vehicle if rainy. I can usually help campers with getting to the site in my side X side if you need to park up at the pasture. Please order enough wood initially as I have found I spend a lot of time delivering extra wood to campers. It seems as if you will typically go through 2 bundles per night on average. Also I supply a contractor size garbage bag to you if you choose garbage removal. It is also a good idea to text me when you have a solid ETA so I can be here to take you to the site. I want to mention that the two sites closest to the waterfall are a slight hike in and can only accommodate up to 4 person tents so if a bigger group or vehicle camping you will be placed at another site. We hope you enjoy Pooh's Corner as much as we enjoy having all of you great Hipcampers sharing our beautiful Fingerlakes Region with us.
Pooh's Corner lies in a rural area just 1.5 miles from Watkins Glen. (3315 County Road 28, Watkins Glen, NY 14891). We took great care to make sure each campsite is PRIVATE (parking on-site*) and the trails are easily navigable. Our 'Welcome Shed' is equipped with a compost toilet, local information, (newly added) Hot Water Station, first-aid kit, charging station, bug spray etc. and is located in a safe, well lit, open area on the property. Each site is equipped with a fire pit and comfortable seating with tables, chairs, and/or picnic tables and tripod grills. Firewood is available on a donation basis.
There are State Parks and places to hike one of the many gorges around beautiful Seneca Lake and surrounding area. Take a tour of the many wineries and breweries which our region is famous for. Enjoy hiking, swimming, biking, kayaking, and many historical sites to see. Our reviews tell it all. We know you'll love it here :)
*PLEASE NOTE: Our sites are custom made for TENT or CAR camping. Because we have "parking on-site", Large RVs, Campers (over 16'), and any 5th-wheel campers are very difficult to place since there are no easy ways to back in or turn around. We highly recommend "Havana Glen State Park" (same general area) for those types of camping units.

We have a wide variety of grass fed beef, pasture raised pork, snack sticks for long hikes, and dog bones and smoked treats for your furry friends. Many of our items are well suited for campfire cooking. Keep in mind that all our products are frozen so be sure to plan for time to thaw. If you're not sure what that involves - we're here to help.
We are a working farm but, much of our property is not grazed or farmed. You are welcome to explore the entire area while also getting a glimpse of sustainable, pasture-based, farming methods. Learn more about us and the history of the farm at our website.
As you roam the hills and forests you'll eventually bump into some of our animals. Please do not enter the animal enclosures or touch any of the electrified fence lines. If you really want to pet a piggie or hold a chicken - just reach out to Ike or Dave and we will gladly arrange this for you.
Red House Ranch is also the perfect spot for wildlife enthusiasts and bird watchers. During your stay you may encounter eagles, blue herons, coyotes, turtles, wild turkeys, foxes, the endangered bobolink bird (its unique call sounds a bit like R2D2), deer, great horned owls, and many unique plants. It's not uncommon to hear the coyotes howling at night.
In addition to hiking trails with incredible views, there are four ponds on the property easily accessible with mown paths. One is very large with a dock and suitable for swimming, paddling, fishing, or just relaxing but the water. The other three are smaller and are now primarily wildlife habitat. easily accessible with mown paths
If you're feeling adventurous, there is a more strenuous hike down into the creek bed where you can find miniature versions of the gorges and waterfalls that our region is known for. We are happy to provide maps and guidance or leave you to your own devices.
When skies are clear our area has very little light pollution and excellent star visibility. It's a great place to view the night sky during a meteor shower.

In the heart of the Finger Lakes, the outdoors awaits your exploration of waterfalls, Cayuga Lake, State forests and parks, wine and beer trails, Cornell U, and the quaint town of Ithaca 7 miles away with all it has to offer.
Owner is on-site and available for your questions/suggestions/assistance!
Summer 2026: This summer I’m late arriving to the site so may not be around but if you need assistance I may be able to have a neighbor assist you.
Summer Dream is seasonal and open June 1-Sept 30 subject to weather constraints.

1 night at Greenbush Farm
It was an incredible campsite! Comfortable and secluded, coffee was great and the stars were unforgettable, owners are nice and friendly, no criticisms except that the bathrooms were a bit far from the hilltop campsite, which is in the works of being fixed :) highly recommend and will be revisiting in the future, great place to unwind and reconnect with your loved ones.

The hosts were super kind and made everything super easy! We were right down by the pond and it was such an awesome view to wake up to, they also have a winery on site and the 3 bottles we got were amazing! Can't recommend this site enough definitely stay here if you have the chance!
Its super close to an awesome brewery to and some killer hikes so there lots to do here!

Dwayne's property was downright picturesque with the hospitality to match. We camped at "Happy Place" which was right across from the swimming hole (backed by a field of wildflowers) and next to the outhouse and we we're lucky enough to have the whole place to ourselves. Dwayne had dry firewood ready for us at camp which was a huge help not having to worry about being able to start a fire during our rainy stay. We used this hipcamp as a base camp for winery tours and Watkins Glen hiking and it was perfect to come back to camp away to some privacy away from the crowds. Will definitely be staying again next time we are in the area

The stone fireplace and pavilion were fantastic. The property is quiet, peaceful, and well maintained. Enjoyed the Amish horse and buggies that passed by as well as the friendly Amish family that were walking by that I got to talk with. AJ is a fantastic host whose priority is making sure your stay is great. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely time staying on Sharon’s property. There is a beautiful little pond that is perfect for a swim, rolling hills with wildflowers, spectacular views and a great place to enjoy the night sky. Sharon is very helpful and friendly and my dog got along well with her pups. I look forward to staying there again!

We have stayed here several times. Every visit just gets better. Ike and Dave are so friendly, prompt replies to messages, very clear instructions. The property is simply amazing. Everything we have tried at the meat store is so good. The high quality is apparent in every bite. Red house ranch is my favorite Hipcamp!

This is a really beautiful place, and my group had a great time during our stay. The pond and pine forest were particularly special! If you and your group are sensitive to dogs being off leash (or have your own dogs that need some space from other dogs or can’t be off leash themselves) I’d maybe pick another spot! But Sharon and her land are both great and I do recommend camping here <3

Pooh’s Corner is the most whimsical campground around! Sheryl and Matt are so kind and accommodating, their recommendations are top tier. 🫡 The rabbit hole was adorable and secluded! Our dogs were welcomed and comfortable.

I was a long term guest on a temporary work assignment as a work camper. The Land was beautiful and clean. I really enjoyed the peacefulness of the area. I would stay in the future.

My dog and I enjoyed camping at the Bare Ridge site, along the creek. Our experience was top notch. We enjoyed our daily walks around the ranch, fires by the water and the outhouses are kept very well. Dwayne takes really good care of his guests. I hope to visit again!

This was my 4th or 5th time staying at this site and as per usual it was perfect! As per usual, The outhouse with the compost toilet was super clean and convenient, the lawn was mowed, the wood we purchased was waiting at the fire pit, Craig was super quick to respond to our reservation and we can’t wait to stay again!

This was our 2nd time at Ken's land, it's really exceptional!! Very chill experience. The first time we were there, we camped right by the waterfall which was of course amazing. This time we were by the creek at site 4, it's quieter there, had a great time there too! And still got to visit the fall. Thanks Ken!

Rick made this long weekend getaway so easy - complete with linens and kitchenette. If you don't want to have an adventure, you can just bring clothes and food. And if you are up for an adventure, there are some to be had right on the farm and more just a short drive away! Just bring your gear! Wonderful weekend on the farm!!!

Beautiful spot, quiet and relaxing. Close to the race track and downtown Watkins Glen.
Owners are wonderful, very friendly and accommodating. Enjoyed watching the cows peak through the woods at us.
