Our homestead is organic farming with livestock goats, ducks, and chickens. We hatch our own eggs and have an organic vegetable garden. Our property is a very wooded, secluded area on two and a half acres., it is on a hill, parking is about a football field distance from the campsite, rugged walking, very doable, bring appropriate footwear. We are nestled on a private road on top of a hill backed up to 2100 acres of New York Gaundry Hill State Forest. There's waterways with active Beaver ponds between our properties. We do have bear and a mountain lion up here. We are 420 friendly! Get ready to tent up on top of the hill in a very secluded spot with a small campfire. We offer organic vegetables from the garden and work almost everyday in our blacksmith/woodworking shop. For a nice experience for adventurous families, you are welcome to accompany us on our herding of our goats/milking, collect eggs for your own breakfast We do provide pots and pans at the yurt site. We offer a unique place to unwind. Conveniently located near Watkins Glenn, Corning, Bath, and Penn Yan. Perfect get away and an inexpensive alternative to the hotels when you go to the races, lakes, wine tours, museums or many other great attractions around our area. Must go to our local restaurants too. You can't be disappointed with what we have to offer you here, something for everyone. Even small pond for fishing for the kids! Hope to see you soon. everything was absolutely amazing! the goats, chickens, lucky kitty, doggo friends, all the stars, the log bridge, trekking up and down and all over. highly recommend if you need to disconnect and appreciate true outdoor adventures. one night wasn’t enough…

Tent Site 1

Quite the amazing experience.

I just got back from a solo 4 night stay in the yurt at the farm and I could not be more happy with how my time there turned out. First of all, Nathan is as nice of a guy as you could ever want to meet and was a huge help to me. He went WAY above and beyond to make sure that I had the accommodations that I wanted. When I got there, he introduced me to the animals and took me to my campsite, helping me with my gear with a few extra greeters in tow (a pup and some goats). Nathan even gave me some VERY fresh goats milk, some amazing chocolate zucchini bread and a couple fresh picked veggies that I cooked over the fire later in the week. The beautiful walk from the parking spot to the camp sites is quite a ways, up and down a hill, so pack light or plan on making a few trips back and forth (SO worth the small hike). As soon as I got settled, I laid down to rest and woke up to a severe storm passing over. The yurt held up shockingly well in 14 mph winds and sideways rains, with only a bit of water coming in, which was to be expected almost in those conditions. The next night, during a normal amount of rain, I stayed completely dry. Nathan is extremely responsive to messages and is very helpful if problems arise. If you love animals, this is the place for you. The goats were so fun to have around! Nathan was an absolute pleasure to meet, his animals were so lovely and his land is incredible special. I honestly can't recommend this place enough and I'll be back soon!

A beautiful piece of land in a perfect location to explore the finger lakes. The campsite was clean and had cooking equipment which were perfect for the fire. Owner was super nice and helpful, as well as being really nice to talk to. Goats visited us in the morning to get pets and graze on leaves. There was also some chickens near where we park our car. It is a slightly hilly walk to the campground; that can be a bit sketchy if you are carrying a lot at once. But, it's not bad especially in the day. The outhouse was clean and was actually rather pleasant with zero smell. 100% recommend to anybody in the area. We will personally be back if we ever need a place to camp in the finger lakes.

Adventure and Magic!

Spent 2 nights! Nathan’s spot is such a cute camping site, close to the finger lakes and glen Watkins! Goats were cute and friendly! As a host Nathan made sure we got in safe and provided firewood! The bathroom is very well made!! The cute bridge was also magical! 10/10 would love to camp again. When clear skies this spot is perfect for stargazing
