Hawk Meadow Farm is a 68 acre working woodland mushroom farm. Our camp sites are spacious and private. A generous amount of firewood is included with your booking! All of our sites can be accessed by car. Our farm specializes in log-grown woodland mushrooms such as shiitake, lion's mane, turkey tail and oyster. We use the mushrooms to make medicinal tinctures and sell fresh or dried to local area restaurants. Visit our farm store while you are here! We usually have fresh shiitakes available for purchase as well as our other farm products. We follow organic methods and sustainable practices in all that we do, and our farm is inspired by the principles of permaculture. We have a great love and respect for the natural world and strive to work in harmony with nature not only in all our agricultural practices, but in just living our lives. We loved the privacy of the black locust site! The tree cover gave great shade and we appreciated the firewood. Steve and Anne are fantastic hosts and they grow the best mushrooms I’ve ever had. I hope to visit again soon!

The Bathhouse!! Dreamy!

Had a great stay!! I stayed in the Black Locust site~ it was beautiful and very private. The new bathhouse was definitely a highlight for me!! I’m dreaming about it now 2 weeks after my stay! It’s gorgeous—gaze into the forest and listen to the birds as you cool off after a day in the woods<3. Visit Creekside Cafe, where mushrooms from the farm are served!! I absolutely enjoy my stay, I can’t wait to come again!

Wonderful stay! Very peaceful and quiet. Nice secluded campsite. Short walk to outhouse and shower. Wish I could have stayed a bit longer. If my travels bring me to the area again, I would definitely stay again.

Pine Tree

We loved camping here! A beautiful farm with plenty of firewood to burn at our campsite. My boyfriend was having allergy issues and we were able to get help from Steve’s wife who sold us homemade allergy tincture made of mushrooms and other herbs but they make there on the farm.

We loved our time at the White Pine campsite. Steve was an excellent host. Great views. Plenty of firewood readily available. The firefly's put on a show for us.
