Pooh’s hideaway
The perfect escape from the crowd
Pooh's corner was the perfect get away from the tourist filled Glen. We spent several days exploring the surrounding area. Having this quiet, comfortable space to come back to and decompress was such a blessing. Matt and Sheryl have created a place that feels much like a home away from home. And what home wouldn't be complete without a familiar. Cheech was always present to welcome us back from our adventures, at the start and end of each day... And of course at every meal time. If ever we venture to the Watkins Glen area again, this is the place to stay!

Eeyore’s den
Thank you for an amazing camping experience. We stayed on Eeyore’s den. The site was the perfect size for our SUV roof top tent and regular ground tent. We visited with our two small dogs and teen boys. The property is beautiful with nice trails to tour the property. Our hosts were wonderful! Such nice and accommodating people. We want to come back in the Autumn , and try out the site that’s closest to the bathroom . This site looks great too and there are lots of things to do in Watkins Glen that we still want to experience.
Roo’s hammock swing
Nice spot except for poison ivy
The site was great -- close to the toilet and water, which was convenient. My only issue is that I was literally surrounded by a lot of poison ivy, which I am very allergic to. It's a miracle that I didn't get a rash but I had to be very careful. It was unnerving and is part of the reason I cut my stay short to 2 nights instead of 3. I was not able to use the hammock since it's so close to the vegetation.

Eeyore’s den
I LOVED camping at Pooh’s Corner. Matt and Sheryl were so welcoming and helpful. I had the place all to myself, but my site was Eeyore’s Den. If I’m ever back in the area, I know where I’ll be staying!

Eeyore’s den
Me and my partner loved camping with our dogs to celebrate our anniversary! It was perfect distance from wineries, trails, and great views, but also nice and remote so that our rescue dog who is scared of fireworks was not spooked on the Fourth of July. With firewood provided, we had a great night making a campfire and relaxing with thousands of fireflies surrounding us.
