Enjoy the well-maintained fire pit in the Adirondack chairs. Sunrise and sunset are spectacular here and stargazers will be delighted with the expansive views. Amish carriages and work horses are common sites. Park however it suits you for getting the best views. It's easy to back in or out with big rigs and trailers from the quiet road . The driveway entrance is extra large. There's plenty of space for a boat, trailer or second vehicle. YOST RIDGE is located between Cayuga Lake and Seneca Lakes ("Trout fishing capital of the World") in the Finger Lakes wine country, and is just a short distance from numerous wineries; Swedish Hill, Knapp Vineyards, Three Brothers, Thirsty Owl, Ventosa, Buttonwood Grove, and Hosmer wineries. Also located nearby are the National Women's Hall of Fame, and many state parks, including Cayuga Lake State Park, Seneca Lake State Park, Taughannock Falls State Park, Watkins Glen State Park, Buttermilk Fall State Park, within short distances of this site. The “space” is not advertised correctly. It’s NOT a camp ground, it’s a plot! One plot! Access to nothing. We actually drove out to check it out 2 weeks before. THANK GOD WE DID! We didn’t stay and lost money because of short notice. Disappointed is an understatement. I wouldn’t recommend this “spot” to anyone unless you want total seclusion.

The site was clean, flat, and beautiful open space. We had water, electric, and sewer hook up. There was a picnic table and a fire ring. The weather was beautiful, one day of rain and what a blessing that was since it is so very dry here. We did not get to have a fire due to higher winds. We had a wonderful vacation!

Great Overnight for Stargazing

This is my second stay at Yost Ridge. Nice view of the sky for stargazing down by the fire pit. Water and electricity are well placed and work perfectly. EASY to maneuver my teardrop to exactly the right spot. Looking forward to staying here again. Dawn is very friendly and responsive.

Yost Ridge in The Finger Lakes
This was our second time staying here. It is a lovely place. We appreciate the available electric hookup, drinking water and rv sewer dump. The site is level and could fit at least two moderate sized rvs. The view is beautiful and peaceful. There are houses on either side but both neighbors are quiet. There are dogs, goats, ducks and roosters at the one house, which can make for some occasional animal sounds, but we enjoyed the variety. The stars and sunset and sunrise are beautiful from the property. Both stays here were quite windy, but both stays were also in spring. We love the mowed trails through the tall grass as a nice place to walk the dogs.

Nice spot with great views of the sunrise. Had a small teardrop camper, but cold easily accommodate something much larger. Dawn had prompt and friendly communication. Will definitely stay again.

We loved Dawn's property. It has beautiful views and a nice fire pit. Great to find someplace remote with full hookups too. We also saw Amish with their horses pulling farm equipment down the road several times. I highly recommend this site.

We loved camping at Yost Ridge. The site was beautiful and easily fit two travel trailers. The views were amazing and it’s very peaceful and quiet but still close to multiple wineries and breweries and other activities. Dawn was a fantastic host and we’ll definitely be staying here again! Highly recommend.

Hosts are very friendly and gracious. They keep their property pristine. Lovely view with a fire pit and chairs. All amenities available - power, sewer and water It is on a country road but minimal traffic and little noise.

We loved this private rural space! The well water was delicious, and having cows and sheep and turkeys on our road made taking a walk so interesting! It was easy to get to Ithaca and Watkins Glen. Dawn, our host was very responsive and helpful. We even had wifi!

Very large, flat, grassy area for boondocking. As advertised, in the middle of farmland and homesteads along a very dark and quiet country road. Definitely would camp here again.

Dawn's property is very nice. Close to wineries and the lakes. A great place to base out of for some wine tasting or fall foliage viewing. It's our third visit and won't be our last.

We spent 5 wonderful days at Yost Ridge! After a couple nights at crowded state park campgrounds on the way out to the Finger Lakes, it was nice to be in a quiet space with great views. The site is also centrally located with Seneca Falls and Geneva just a few minutes away and Ithaca and Watkins Glenn 30-45 minutes driving distance. There is so much to do in that area. We could get in a hike or two in the morning, visit a winery in the afternoon and finish off the day with ice cream before heading back to the campsite

Yost Ridge was easy to find and had plenty of space for our 5th wheel and truck. It was located near a farm which offered cheese tasting and live music on the weekend. There is a nice bike path along the river. We went back the next day and took our kayaks thru the lock. Will definitely stay again when in the area. Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

The views from Yost Ridge are amazing. Richard kindly helped us position our RV to best capture the views. The site, while between 2 houses, was spacious and well maintained. We would happily return again.

Very nice large lot with full hookups, overlooking huge crop fields. Hosts commuted well. Nice firepit area but unfortunately we never took time to use. The only problem the barking dogs at neighbor next door - they tried to keep quiet. This no fault of our camp hosts.

This was a beautiful and relaxing spot. The sunsets were great and the breeze was amazing! The neighbors dogs were really only out while we set up and broke down camp. And they have a cute goat! 😊 Very nice host. Would recommend

I wanted to love this place , but it was close to the road. Then the Air B@B had lights on the side of the building. All the road traffic and lights made it hard to sleep. The host was super kind and helpful. The site is perfect for a van or someone in a SUV like me. I would say have window coverings to block out the light.

Yost Ridge in The Finger Lakes
This is my second time out at the campsite. I think it was even better than the first! It’s such a lovely piece of land in a beautiful part of the state. It’s quiet and you have so much all to yourself. There is a big beautiful tree that gives you lots of shade and the amenities are top-notch. I can see myself coming back here after year.

We loved camping at Yost Ridge. The property was well maintained. Well water was delicious as described. Neighbors had dogs, only really barked upon arrival and departure. Saw quite a few horse and buggies. Centrally located near wineries, cheese tastings, state parks.
