A large field that was once an old potato farm, family owned for generations. There is great heart in this land. with apple trees strewed across the wild flowers. Take a break and enjoy the bird songs and the breeze. Hang a hammock, make a fire and connect with nature once again. This is a primitive camping spot- there is a fire pit, two chairs and a small table provided. Parking is near site. ADD ONS: Fire Wood (locally sourced) $25 Two Person Tent Pre Assembled and ready to go $55 Guided Forest Walk $35 Per Person , a light and easy walk with a history of the area and wild flower/native plant identification Please Message in inbox any inquiries, questions or information about an add on. Pets are allowed please let us know you are bringing them, and keep them on a leash if possible. Pets are your responsibility, and be aware there are wild animals.

Parking not far from the spot, ready access- Pitch your tent facing south toward the view of the mountains. Build a nice fire, make a meal. There is a fire pit, and table for two. Perfect for romantic get away, or solitude at its finest. You will notice apple trees and fruit berries, mint and much more growing at your feet, and in your leisure. You can hang a hammock under the poplars and sip your coffee in the mornings. In the evenings on a clear sky the stars are incredible.

This is a primitive camping site carry in carry out on and recreationally family owned property. What was once a pasture, now serves as a bird and butterfly sanctuary, strewn with wild flowers, plant life and streams. The forest meets the meadow. The night sky and views here are stunning. Minutes away from kaaterskill falls, and a plethora of hiking trails. There is a secret disc golf course, on the far side of the property. This is a perfect getaway for a weekend in nature.

Camp mojack, on the east side of the property, located on our very own private disc golf course! It is way into the woods need 4WD - there is not a platform but is a large picnic table, fire pit, plenty of trees. This is a primitive site, please bring amenities like camping toilet and water - Enjoy!

Sites close to parking, beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, close by to many hikes/waterfalls. Not much natural shade so come prepared with a sun shade.

A great place for a private, primitive style camping. This beautiful spot is surrounded by the mountains, with wild flowers growing on the property. Rose communicated clearly and timely, gave us enough information to prepare for the trip. Would highly recommend!

Great view and location. Parking is a 30 second walk to the first spot and about a two minute walk to the second spot. The walking paths were mowed freshly and prepared for my arrival. The only I suggestion I have for guests is to come prepared for ticks - you’ll be good in the short grass but if you wonder off into the tall grass, you will pick up a few hitch hikers.

Great site with amazing views! A little overpriced for the amenities, you're literally just paying for the view, nothing else. Although I figured that ahead of time. But she could have 4 or 5 sites at half the price and make twice as much with that area.. All with great views. FYI for anyone in my situation: I was told I could park on the site (I have a tent ON my suv) but there was no way you could get a vehicle on to the designated site. I set up in another location on the huge property. Very responsive host.

We loved our stay here! The lush wildflower meadows and views of the surrounding mountains were beautiful. The sky was super clear here for stargazing at night. The campground was well set up and enjoyable with the fire pit, cooking grate, tables, and chairs. Distant noise from the road can be heard, but it was mostly silent at night and it was a perk is being so close to town. Rose was accommodating and easy to be in touch with, making our stay even more comfortable. We can’t wait to come visit again!

Great tent spot that was easy to find on the land. Rose sent us great directions and the firewood was appreciated. We heard and saw lots of birds and other wildlife. We will definitely come back and camp here in the future

Camp Mary was absolutely beautiful! A great lookout view of the mountains and quite a variety of birds at the campsite. There is a designated platform for the tent to set up on and the fire pit was great as well. Rose was very accommodating as a host and even provided us with additional water, a citronella candle and bug spray. We could hear some music from the nearby house in the evening but they turned it off pretty early so it was no problem. If you’re debating staying here it is absolutely worth it if you want a private getaway with gorgeous views. We brought our dog and she loved rolling around in the grass and hanging out at camp.

I don’t even know how to start. It’s probably my fault that I booked the campsite without any historical review comments… I would recommend this site if you want to 1) experience the confusion of wrong address 2) not being able to reach the owner even though it says the owner would be there to meet you 3) get stuck in the drive way - - - took us 4 hours to dig the car out. In addition to all of the above…just to be fair…it’s a beautiful site, the night sky is extremely beautiful. Even tho it’s very close to the road, but hardly any car passing by after 10pm, so didn’t bother us at all.
