The Mountain Top @Wright&#x27;s Farm

The Pros: We had a lovely stay at the Hill Top site! The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained, with stunning views. Our site was spacious, mostly flat, and equipped with a picnic table and large fire ring. Having a clean porta-potty nearby was also very convenient. The onsite market and brewery are great additions, although we didn't get a chance to visit them this time. The Cons: Finding the Hill Top site was challenging. The site sign faces the opposite direction from where guests arrive via the market, making it easy to miss. Thankfully, the hosts were very friendly and accommodating and personally escorted us to our site when we asked for help. Unfortunately, it seemed we weren't the only ones confused by the signage. Another group had mistakenly set up at our site before we arrived but relocated once we clarified the mix-up. Later that evening, a different couple arrived after dark and spent the night in their car on our site, presumably because they, too, had trouble finding their designated spot. This was particularly unsettling, as we had booked what we understood to be the entire site for our group of eight and hadn't anticipated sharing it with strangers. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the beautiful property and helpful hosts. However, clearer signage and better site identification would go a long way toward preventing confusion and ensuring guests have the privacy they expect.

This was a great campsite! Very close vicinity to many great hikes and having the farm market on site was so nice. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great place to stay near the Catskills.

Perfect fall weekend

We had a great time camping on Wrights Farm. The view from the Ridgeview site was beautiful, and we all enjoyed seeing the parachutes dropping by the ridge throughout the day. We had great weather and never left the farm, between apple picking, the fully stocked farm stand and the brewery for entertainment, we were spoiled. The site itself was moved grass and big enough for our large 10-person tent. Great vibes throughout - both the farm and Gardiner. Hope to be back soon.

Everett’s

Beautiful views! We set up at Everett’s and enjoyed a quiet evening under the stars. Wright’s farm was the perfect one-night stop on our road trip upstate! We caught their market before closing and grabbed local ravioli and farm-fresh marinara from the farm to make for dinner at camp. A sunset hike around the orchard was the perfect way to close out the evening. If you’re in the area, I highly suggest staying at Wright’s. We were in a self-sufficient camper van, but tent camping would be perfect as well. Don’t forget to grab the cider doughnuts! They are made fresh every morning. We grabbed a six-pack of them on the way out and were alllll smiles to the next destination!

Easy to use, smooth experience worked great. Easy to drive there, fortunately had cell reception while on the farm, area was nice and quiet even with a few other campers around the same site. Would go there again, and would use Hipcamp again.

Spacious Sites, Live Music & Brews

We had a wonderful weekend tent camping at Wright's. The open field was gorgeous with great views, and the sites felt very spacious — plenty of room to spread out. Being surrounded by farmland made for such a peaceful, scenic environment. The highlight was easily the weekend evening entertainment: live music paired with a brewery right next to the campground made for such a fun, relaxed vibe, and the bar food hit the spot after a day outdoors. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a mix of nature and a good time!

Stonehenge Camping

What a wonderful experience! I cannot wait to camp at wright farms again. I staid on Stonehenge location. We were surrounded by beautiful apple orchard and wild flower fields. The camping sites were very clean and cared for. The Market had everything you can need, all farm fresh (Peach jam was ridiculously good!). Loved the brewery and live music! The Wright family are all wonderful people! They have an amazing thing going at the farm. I visited with my brother and cousins. Definitely planning on being my wife and son to camp. Portapotties were very clean. Peaceful safe camping Literally have been telling everyone about how amazing the experience was.

Incredible weekend at Wrights Farm. The hilltop campsite was beautiful in views and vibes, and a perfect distance from trails to hike, lakes to swim in, and vineyards to roam. Impressive farm store with so many fresh veggies and VAPs, and we enjoyed an evening at the farm brewery for local music. Thank you!

This camp site was absolutely serene! You’re among an Apple orchard, conveniently close to New Paltz and have a farm stand on site with delicious food! We loved going to the on site brewery as well and enjoying live music after a long day hiking! Can’t wait to go back!

Very nice place. We stayed at the Stonehenge campsite and it was great. Very spacious, only 3 sites in a big field. The porta potty was super clean. Our dog loved the place ! The market is very big and has anything that one can dream of. Just a small thing to be aware for, not far away from the sites is another big field where Harvest Host can park their RV for a night. Some of them had generators, which we could hear a little bit, but I would not worry because it's not that close. It didn't bother us. They were quiet and kept to themselves. Overall very nice place to stay. We will come back for sure.

We loved camping on the Wright farm. Camping area is clean and perfect for a few nights. We stayed at the knob. Ground a little uneven, but nothing that bothered us in any way. Still easy to put up the tent. View is beautiful, toilet clean etc. Make sure to check out their farm market and visit the brewery if they are opened.

Wright's farm never disappoints! This is our third time camping at Wright's farm, except this was our first time at The Knob. The spot had a fire ring and a picnic table, the views were absolutely gorgeous and very well maintained. The only negative issue is that the site slopes at the top where the fire ring is and having the picnic table there is not the best. The flat part is a little further down where you would set up your tent and having the table there is too far for the fire. Regardless, that didn't stop us from enjoying our stay, we recommend it for the views of the valley and mountains, amazing sunrise, bats at dusk helping out eat all the bugs and a Red Tailed Hawk that lives nearby! Lastly, I cannot recommend enough going to their shop for Apple Cider Donuts...their beer is very tasty and the staff is warm and welcoming!

Wonderful Hipcamp!

What an amazing Hipcamp! Absolutely gorgeous views. Plenty of space for our tents (2) and cars (2). Definitely could have had more people as well. Great sunset spot! We had so much fun watching the people skydiving. The farm store and brewery were awesome. Highly recommend the bread, cheeses, coffee, fruit syrups, jam, wine, and cider. Delicious! I would definitely want to come back in the fall during apple picking season. Porta potty was clean. Easy to find great hikes and swimming in the area. Warming: There was no poison ivy in the cleared camping spot, but definitely do not walk into the fields at all. It’s tempting to wander around but definitely stick to the road if you’re sensitive to poison ivy/ watch young kids! Overall, a wonderful place to stay- highly recommend!
