The Mountain Top @Wright&#x27;s Farm

The mountain top campsite was much better before you added the other 3. It is no longer private as it used to be and you are contantly getting traffic coming and going to the New Campsite which is located further behind. It kind of ruins the whole point of camping there if now your surrounded by people.

We had a fantastic time camping at Wright’s farm - the location surrounded by orchards was beautiful and it was so fun to be able to enjoy the property, farm store, and brewery. The only downside was another campsite was a bit close for my taste, and a bit loud, but even so I loved our stay and would visit again.

Perfect farm life camping!

This was perfect! We stayed for a night on a cool fall night. Lots of space, and included a picnic table and fire ring. The brewery was great (we were there on a Saturday) the portapotty is a bit of a walk from this particular site, but it wasn’t too bad! The farmers market was walkable, but also a short drive. Be sure to check out the farmers market while you are there! Would definitely stay again.

This location was beautiful with great views. Signs made it very easy to find our specific campsite, and close proximity to the market with fresh food and baked goods made for a welcomed bonus to our visit! Would definitely return!

Absolutely stunning skies and blustery mornings. Must-visit farm store woth products grown, picked, and packed in-house. Friendly staff and semi-private sites with ample space between the neighboring fire pits. Nearby some stunning hiking (Minnewaska and Mohank) and great eats (Bacchus in New Paltz especially recommended for vegetarians, beer lovers, and billiards). Just a wonderful getaway.

Wright’s farm is a beautiful location for tent or RV camping. There are several different sites to choose from. I was there at the end of October and all were quiet with beautiful views of the apple orchards and surrounding areas. There is a farm store on site that has all sorts of goodies. And a brewery open on the weekends. Will definitely be back to explore more of this beautiful area.

Really beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. The fall foliage was stunning. It was so fun watching sky divers in the distance right in front of our campsite, ridge view 1. This site felt private and was easily accessible. Also some pretty good stargazing when clouds broke.

Really nice large, private and flat campsite! Beautiful view of the fall foliage in the Gunks. We loved our stay and enjoyed the short walk down to the brewery and farm stand for food, drinks, and music. Quick drive to all the climbing and hiking and biking in the area. Cant wait to come back!

A very nice spot. Off season.. so only a few campers in sight. They sold me a firewood bundle that had 2 dry logs on top and the rest was sopping wet. Lame. We had no fire to enjoy the property outside. Drove up and they basically said - “whatever- drive up and find a spot and bye.” Bought some cheese and crackers for $40 and just gave up and went to sleep in our van. Maybe it’s the off season dulls. Maybe it’s better during summer. Beautiful skyline.

Great location! Just a 10 minute drive from Mohonk Mountain trails which we hiked before setting up camp. We arrived around dinner time and were able to snag a bite and drink at the brewery and listen to awesome live music! The staff were very lovely in both the brewery and attached market. Stayed at the Stonehenge site which was easy to find and equipped with a fire ring and picnic table. Porta potty with sanitizing station was located a short walk away which was convenient even in the dark. There was another group camping in our area but they’re so well spaced that it felt private. If you’re a stargazer, this site is stunningly unobstructed. Would stay again!

This was my first time using HipCamp, and my husband and I loved this site! The grounds were well-maintained, relatively secluded, and the view was beautiful. The people who run the farm are so kind and accommodating; we got a flat tire in the morning, and someone came out to help us try and pump the tire with air! And when it didn’t work, they did point us to the Mavis Discount Tire close by. We didn’t really bring very much in ways of food and instead opted to buy ingredients from the farm market - we got a lovely roasted garlic, roasted red pepper and broccoli rabe pork sausage, some onions, peppers, homemade pesto, and mushroom ravioli to make for dinner and it was all delicious. The apple cider donuts are a MUST - probably some of the best apple cider donuts we’ve ever had. And we sat in the barn brewery for a bit and had a nice beer. The pumpkin beer was phenomenal! There’s a porta potty that you have to drive to from the site. This site is probably the farthest one from the toilet, but it’s definitely worth it for the view. The porta potty is SUPER clean and there’s a little foot-operated sink with soap outside. My only con was that we could hear some music (from an undetermined location), but it wasn’t very disruptive and not necessarily in anyone’s control. All in all, this was everything I had hoped it would be, and now I have delicious sausage and donuts and cider at home.

Our favorite fall weekend

This last trip was our 3rd time camping at Wright’s Farm. Our group always has the best time. The property itself is gorgeous with amazing views, the grounds are well set up with fire pits and plenty of space to spread out, as well as port a potty in the orchard. The farm stand is great and they have so many local treats from apple cider donuts to pies, jams, honey, etc. in addition to all the fresh produce. We also love the brewery and listening to live music there. Also, watching the skydivers jump over the farm is a show in and of itself. Thanks to the wonderful staff at Wright’s Farm! You are all so nice and we can’t wait to go back again.

We camped on the Hill Top site at Wright's land and Check in was easy and the drive up to the site was simple. The shop you check in to is super charming and filled with local stuff. We got the apple cider doughnuts in the morning and they were so soft and delicious. Over all a very lovely time, the view from Hill Top is amazing. I am definitely coming back.

Good spot with amenities

Our group had a great time at Ridgeview #1 in spite of terrible weather. The campsite was spacious with beautiful views, and felt private even though the farm was bustling on a fall Saturday. The port a potty was a minute walk up the hill and clean. Given the rain storms, it was convenient having a farm store and brewery just down the hill, though you can hear the live music up at the campsite. You can also hear the cars on the road at night. We walked around the property and noticed that most of the campsites did not feel as private as ours, though they were all beautifully situated. A great location for campers who want the peace of mind of amenities nearby!

We loved camping here! It was such a unique camping experience because the views were great, we had a large area to ourselves, and the market and brewery on site gave you so much to do! It felt like you had this private sanctuary to yourself then you walk down to the brewery area and it was a packed Saturday afternoon! + apple picking if you wanted something else to do

Privacy with a View!

Wonderfully private site with marvelous views in the midst of an expansive orchard. We enjoyed exploring the many varieties of apples and picked an assortment to take home. Exceptionally warm weekend which made it a great night for a cozy time around the fire pit and star-gazing inside our tent with no need for the rain fly. We wandered down to the brewery for a bit to eat and listened to some good live music. (Our food was delivered a full 52 minutes after placing our order. Not a killer but not what we expected.) The site was listed as having both water and a toilet. Neither was present at this particular site with the nearest toilet being about 200 yards away. (Not sure where the water was but we made to with what we brought from home.) Again, not a big deal. Overall, we will certainly return again and are comfortable recommending the location to others!

We LoVe CaMping @ the Wright's mountain top camp site 💕❤️💕❤️it's become a little historical / milestone staple for my entire little family 💖this time my husband & I went alone 😍 the wright's are embroidered in our hearts & our memories on this hilltop are literally priceless!! As is the scenery & aura on top of this hill Every time we go we unlock another treasure (this tine it was biking directly from our campsite 🏕️ to the rail trail !!!!! And beyond .
