Why Not is a wonderful RV and tent camp out in the country but also a short drive to the beaches. Firewood, grill and charcoal were all provided by the hosts. Camp sites are pristine. Will be back.

Beautiful open field surrounded by woods with plenty of sites to choose from. Perfect place for hammock camping! Also has a clean bathhouse with free shower! Great location, secluded and peaceful, but just minutes from the highway. Hope to camp out there again soon.

Just - amazing!!! We were spoiled! Electricity at our site (moved to 1 from 3 as there had been a lot of rain; can definitely attest that this was brilliant aforethought, Marian and Mike! Thank you!!!), a garbage can, and waterproof container of kindling. Firewood aplenty and a bathroom - a real, warm bathroom with a toilet and sink :) As well as a hot shower and sink for doing dishes! The fire pit was a set up for wood (which we prefer) or charcoal (also provided!!!). We cooked all of our meals at our site and couldn't have asked for a better set-up! It was SO quiet, it was like a dream!! Flat, level ground and many trees made it easy to pitch our tent, put a tarp over the picnic table, and set up the runner for our fur-footed family member! The boys absolutely loved feeding the animals and spending time with them each day. Plenty of space to roam and the holly forest was truly beautiful! This is definitely not just somewhere to camp, it is magical! Thank you, Marian and Mike, for sharing your piece of land and peace of mind, body, and spirit! We cannot wait to come back and visit with you again!!

This is a quiet spot to stay at, and it is/felt very safe. The tent site is in a secluded area behind the barn, which was great. This was my first time in Delaware, and I stayed here as I was participating in a marathon the next day in Rehoboth Beach. I would definitely stay here again! There is a fenced pasture positioned next to the sites so you can see your faithful friend enjoying some grass or hay. We have a new Zinger 29' trailer set up with a bunk room and another bedroom, full kitchen and bathroom. It can easily sleep six people. If you have your own RV, we have a full hook up at the same area. The pasture where your horse stays will also have hay, water and shelter with a run-in. This is a sanctuary for our animals. We have nine animals here, four horses (some minnies) and five donkeys (some minnies). By staying here, you will be helping us to support our animals. We are in Frankford, De which is close to all the beaches and parks. There are many shopping adventures awaiting you, either outlets or upcycle stores. If you just want to relax, there is a small pond out back stocked with bass and turtles. We have 17+ acres but we only use the front five acres and leave the rest for the deer, foxes, eagles, hawks and whatever else shows up. We believe this is Heaven on earth and would love to share it will you. So please come, stay at our farm and relax. We are here year round.
