What a fun weekend! The campground was clean and quiet. Our site had a picnic table that was shaded, large fire ring, full hook ups, and was a pull through. The kiddos loved feeding the animals, playing mini golf, swimming in the beautiful indoor salt pool, biking, hiking the clearly marked and cleared trails, playing on the shaded playground, and fishing. The kiddos caught several large bass and catfish. They also have a beautiful indoor koi pond. The store has a large selection of their meads. We enjoyed root beer, elderberry jalapeno, and elderberry lime. We also got elder elixer and elderberry soap. Our pup enjoyed the trails and the large dog park. The owner and staff were knowledgeable and so welcoming.

This camp is a very quiet rural location (45 minutes to Lewes and Cape May Ferry) and has a great list of amenities. The camp hosts are welcoming and very helpful. Shout-out to Dave for assisting us on arrival. The animals are cool and mostly friendly. The pool looked nice as did the meadery- didn't have time to try these. The nature walk was really nice and easy to follow. Now to the sites themselves - if you're looking at a full hook-up site, you will need to bring plenty of waste line and water line as the utility layout is challenging. Our recommendation is to call ahead and ask about site layout. Upon departure we ended up dumping our full grey and black tanks at Killen Pond State Park about 9 miles away. For those with 30-Amp rigs, do have a 50-amp converter in your electric box for flexibility in site selection. Overall, a nice long weekend stay with friendly hosts.

We absolutely loved this campground. Easy access, quiet, lots of beautiful animals to see. There’s a nice walking trail, indoor heated pool, dog park, putput course & Meadery. We were greeted upon arrival & he ensured we got all set up. Would highly recommend & will come back when we’re visiting Delaware again. Thank you! (We have a 30 ft motorhome & 18 ft trailer, no issues maneuvering)

We loved our stay at Adventures Await! A lovely property with friendly people. The shop had a great selection of mead and wines, fresh eggs, etc. the pool was nice and clean and there’s a great little nature trail. The hosts were kind enough to extend our stay when we missed our first night due to truck trouble. Definitely would come back!

Chris, Debbie, and Dave are wonderful hosts!
We were able to arrive on a Sunday and the check-in was as easy as 1 2 3! Dave drove us to our site, which was very spacious, clean, and leveled!
We loved hiking the trail on the property, exploring the pond, and bonding with the animals. We also bought some delicious mead (Pineapple, Watermelon, Elderberry Blackberry Sweet, and Elderberry Blackberry Oak Aged Sweet).
We can't wait to be back!!!

Our stay was awesome. We needed an extra day and they had no problem extending our stay. Loved walking along the lake. There’s also a nice pond, indoor pool and mini golf. We will be back!!!

Cabin was okay but could have been cleaner. There is a sink in the cabin but it doesn't work. Bathroom/shower is acceptable but difficult to maneuver in. The smell was unbearable. Turns out the soap was contributing to the bad smell. Property was okay but not as nice as photos. We did enjoy the air conditioning and the mini golf. It looks like a lot of long term rentals. We have rented mini cabins in many other locations and at this price point we had slightly higher expectations. Not a great experience for us but may be acceptable to others.

We loved staying at Adventure Awaits! The pool, mini golf, animals and pond were great additions to the experience. The bathrooms were close by, just wish the room had running water to wash hands, brush teeth, etc. Overall a beautiful and relaxing place. Can’t wait till our next stay!

My wife and I are new to RVing and this was a test trip. We stayed one night and wanted to stay somewhere with full hookups to test everything out as we are still learning. Excellent location, close enough to civilization but not that close. Very peaceful and the animals were a nice addition. Excellent communication with the host and Dave was very helpful & friendly. We didn't have time to explore the location but we did see the pool and mini golf.

Great place to camp. It was quite peaceful even though it is a working farm with lots going on. The farm animals are a plus. We found it peaceful just watching them. Farm fresh eggs were a definite plus.

We loved Chris’ land! My son got to fish in the stocked pond. He caught 10 fish in two days! He loved going to the little Egg Shack and getting snacks. We also loved the trails! 2 miles one way of wooded easy trails. The whole property was clean and well kept. Really enjoyed the farm animals too. Great spot to camp!

What a fantastic mini vacation, from the second you pull in, you are greeted by the owners. They really take the time to make sure your stay is so enjoyable and explain everything they have to offer at the minifarm. The staff on hand was also just as great, no question ever not responded to. We will definitely be coming back.

We had a great experience! The land is well maintained and they really are trying to bring in families by having a playground and mini golf along with yard games. They even have a dog park. Dave showed us to our spot and was very helpful. We will definitely come back and try out one of the cabins. We were 25 minutes from Slaughter Beach and 50 from Rehoboth. Thanks for letting us spend the weekend here!

Nice grassy sites under tall trees. Also have "cabins" which are more like tiny homes. Fun to visit the farms animals. The trail through the woods was much better than expected. The manager, Dave, greeted us as we arrived and led us to our site. He was very helpful. There is also a little camp store with fresh eggs, firewood, and drinks. We didn't get to play miniature golf due to the rain. Very pleasant and relaxing place. Well maintained. Verizon and T-Mobile signals were good enough for hotspot usage.

We loved it! Really appreciated the space the children had to explore and play, the nature trail, ponds, playground as well as opportunity to visit and interact with the adorable animals whenever they wished. Was very peaceful, quiet, and had everything we needed to be comfortable along with full rv hookups. The owners were on-site and very accommodating. We can't wait to return!

What a lovely spot!! I traveled there in January so I am sure it is ever more spectacular in the height of the season. I was greeted with a warm welcome. I was guided to my site by a friendly and helpful young man. There were goats and chickens. It is in a rich agricultural area that was really beautiful. The grounds are immaculate! Clearly the owners love their property and take great pride in it. I would most certainly stay here again and I highly recommend it!
