The campsite was very nice and well maintained. It also had its own river view which made it very serene. The host was very nice and helpful with any questions that we had.

Site 2 - Countryside Horse Farm Camping

We have stayed at Countryside Horse Fsrm on several occasions and Loredana is far more than a Hip Camp Host. She has become a friend of my wife and I and we not only love staying at her place but we also really enjoy talking and interacting with Loredana. She is an amazing women. We also enjoy staying at clothing optional sites and the horses seem to laugh at us but they don’t seem to object. My wife and I celebrated our 55 wedding anniversary while we were there and Loredana took photos of us that we will always cherish. Thank your Loredana for your kindness and friendship.

Wonderful beautiful campsite! Would definitely recommend. Quiet, next to a beautiful river, very picturesque. Close to Cowtown Rodeo (very fun to visit on Saturday nights). Sites 2 and 3 are close to each other and far from the farm buildings (very private). Site 1 is close to the bathroom but much less privacy.

I loved car camping at Lordana's Horse farm. We had a nice secluded site by the river, a campfire, stars, and fireflies. A perfect way to celebrate the solstice. ☀️

Such a wonderful stay

Our family loves this farm so much. All the horses are happy, healthy, well-cared for, and so sweet. My daughter loves going around and petting them, talking to them, and generally exploring the great outdoors. She also loves the farm kitties, and peeking at the chickens. The property is beautiful and serene, and clean. It’s a joy to visit and unwind. Campsite #1 is our favorite because two horses wander right by the tent grazing. I also love that they have a few lawn games for when my daughter needs some activity. Loredana is the best host, so kind and accommodating. Will keep coming back!!

We arrived after getting drenched at Shenandoah and there was heavy rain approaching at this site. The instructions said to use the small gate next to the large gate but no instructions were given to the actual site. There was no host to ask and we were lost finding the site for quite a long time. We eventually found it down a long inaccessible drive behind two gates then down a hill. We had a tent but there was no flat site to set up on. There was also no cart to haul our gear the quite long distance to the site. We couldn’t make it work well and decided to move on to other arrangements. That said, this is a beautiful farm and on a better day we might have tried more to find the host and make it work somehow. Given the distance between parking and the site a sturdy garden cart to haul a person’s gear is really needed. Signage to the sites would help as well. Description should be updated to show this as a walk-in site and not accessible by car.

I liked it. There were miniature ponies outside my window at night, it was cool to occasionally hear pony sounds when I was in bed. Animals were friendly. She was working on adding extra ammenaties, which I though made it look like she cared. Environment was nice. Asked for extra accomodations and she helped me out. Easy to get in.

Overall this site was okay. The setting is gorgeous and Loredana was very kind. She even introduced me to one of the horses, chickens, and cats. The trailer is decorated nicely and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. The trailer, while set back on the property, is quite loud because the road was busier than I expected, especially with large trucks (presumably carrying farm equipment) not necessarily bad but don’t expect it to be super tranquil until quite late at night. There was also definitely an excess of bugs (like, dozens and dozens of gnats) on the walls and bed. I shook them off and just accepted I was on a farm and camping wouldn’t have been much different. Finally, communication about arrival and where things were was a little lacking. Overall, it was a fine place to stay during my roadtrip, but not sure I would pay that much again when I could stay at a hotel down the road with a bathroom and no bugs on the bed for less than what I paid here. Unless I really liked horses I guess. Oh, I also paid for the fresh eggs add on but didn’t get the eggs. My fault for forgetting to ask before I left, I guess.

Loredana is a warm and welcoming host. The cabin and her land is very well maintained, and she checked on me often enough to ensure that I was comfortable and entertained. As a solo traveler, I also felt safe staying with her. 10 out of 10 was my experience and I would like to stay again.

What a fabulous time it was on this farm. I went in December so it was a bit cold. The owner was was very kind. She had already put a space heater in there and warms it up for me. If you don't like the cold then do not go in the cooler months but you ABSOLUTELY should go in the 3 other seasons. I loved meeting the horses and waking up to the sounds of a rooster. On the way out to this farm I saw a few other farms. I saw the biggest bald eagle I've ever seen in my life as well as peacocks. All this in NJ. This was an amazing experience.

Great, easily accessible place. Dog friendly a huge plus with fenced area to roam. Host is very friendly and checked in during our stay how we were doing. Highly recommended if you are in the area! Cabin even in fall/winter has space heater and holds heat well.

We stayed at campsite #1 and had a wonderful time. Loredana was so kind and super helpful in setting up firewood & eggs for our arrival. Beautiful view from our site. Nice balance of being tucked away in nature with access to some comforts.

I loved camping at the farm! I booked last minute as I decided I needed a rest on my way home from a road trip, and Loredana was so accommodating. It was amazing to wake up with the horses visiting my campsite. Loredana left me fresh chicken eggs, and showed me her beautiful art gallery in the morning after making me an espresso. She’s such a lovely soul, and I know I will be returning in the future. Hopefully with my whole family this time!!

Little slice of heaven

What a great place and a gracious host. With a beautiful pastor and lovley stream, this place was heaven. Horses are literally around you and you are in the field with your tent or buscamper. Sunset and sunrise were amazing here, and you have the place all to yourself. The sites are really private and big. The grass was manicured like a football stadium. I felt bad about driving on it. lol All kidding aside. This place was heaven. We are going back soon.

I had an amazing time “Glamping” here! The host is so sweet and friendly. The cabin was clean and perfectly cozy and the facility was super well taken care of. You can’t beat waking up to the sound of horses neighing and the country side right out of your window! I will absolutely be back here to stay again!

Loredana is amazing! We had a wonderful time. We were a group of 19 and rented the entire ranch. The pictures don’t do this place justice but it has everything you need for a great time! The campgrounds are beautiful right by the water and there’s a tub there to bathe with fresh well water. Loredana was so helpful throughout our stay and she welcomed us into her home with open arms. The animals there are worth the trip alone. We loved her horses and ponies. Thank you we can’t wait to come back again soon.

Camping with the Horses!!

We rented the entire site for a retreat earlier this month, with a group of about 25 people. There was plenty of space to accommodate everyone—some stayed in vans, others in trailers, and several in tents. The property itself is absolutely stunning and meticulously maintained. Each site was beautifully arranged, complete with a full bundle of firewood by the firepit. Some spots featured charming tables and chairs perfect for a romantic dinner, while others were nestled by the water. Communication with Loredana was seamless. She responded quickly to our many questions and remained attentive throughout our stay. Her kindness stood out—at one point on Saturday, she even surprised us with the most incredible homemade Caprese. Having horses roam freely around the site added a magical touch, though you do need to watch your step! It was delightful to be greeted by animals wherever we went. The full kitchen was functional but could use some upgrades and additional cookware. Still, it met our needs for preparing shared meals. Overall, the property is truly unique and Loredana is a fantastic host. I’d highly recommend booking this site.

Beautiful and pristine place. I enjoyed my stay. Saw some birds, including a heron, and lots of butterflies and a meteor. The horses and ponies are beautiful. Wood is available for purchase for the fire pit, which of course we utilized. The ground is level for pitching tents (there were 3 of us, 2 tents). The campsite is nice and private and there are trees for shade with a nice view of the water. The port-a-potty is a bit of a walk from Campsite 3, so be prepared for that. Also, nothing can be done about this, but if you are a light sleeper and camping at campsite 3, best to bring earplugs. The campsite is right by a road and vehicles were driving past intermittently throughout the night. I am a light sleeper and woke up a few times. I would have liked to stay another night but we had to leave.

Our stay at Loredana’s farm was amazing! The site was very clean and well maintained. We did a grooming session with Figaro (the horse) and met all of the others as well. It was a terrific experience that we’ll remember forever. Thank you so much!
