Our horse farm is located in one of the most rural areas of Southern New Jersey. This land was once occupied by The Lanape Tribe. The adjacent creek was named after Chief Alloway. Artifacts of Native Americans have been found alongside this brackish water creek. This farm was for many years a dairy farm which was passed on for 3 generations until the late 80's. Our main horse breeds are 5 Arabians followed by 2 Thoroughbreds and 2 miniature ponies. In addition to horses you will see free range rabbits, chickens and beautiful cows. There are many antique shops in this area which tell the rich History of Southern NJ. Cowen mall and Royal Port are my two favorites. Another must see experience (at least once) in the area is The Cowtown Rodeo, one of the first and oldest in the country, only 14 minutes drive. Camp in a backyard in a quiet area with a barn and horses nearby. Site 1 has water hookup and a 30 amp and 110 outlet available. Site 2 has water access and a 110 outlet available. Site 3 is for tent camping only and is more secluded. It does have water access available. These sites are a great spot to watch the sunset or watch the stars at night. These all are self contained camping spots. I do have two very friendly dogs that will most likely come say hi to you. Dewey Beer is 1 mile away in Harbeson. Lewes beach is only about 10 minutes away and Rehoboth beach is about 20 minutes away. Sports at the beach is only 5 miles away. Tanger outlets is 8 miles away. Delaware Turf sports complex is 24 miles. There are many great restaurants and shopping nearby. You can also bring your bikes and ride the bike trail from our lane to Lewes or Rehoboth! We brought our two smaller dogs, and one of the hostess pups, Chewy, kept us company on and off for the whole visit. What a great basecamp for all the surrounding activities. We chose to just chill at camp most of the time but appreciated the close proximity to restaurants, farm markets, and crabs. Emily's Place is a little sandy oasis covered by a canopy of trees that provided great coverage and a breeze on a hot, sunny day. The owner takes great care of the camp and provides seating, tables, and even access to the RV for use of the bathroom, shower, and sink. The site is a bit close to the owner's home than we are normally used to but the site was very private and amenities helped make our short stay very pleasant. Would definitely stay here again for another short trip to the area.

The kiddos loved feeding the animals, playing mini golf, swimming in the beautiful indoor salt pool, biking, hiking the clearly marked and cleared trails, playing on the shaded playground, and fishing. The kiddos caught several large bass and catfish. They also have a beautiful indoor koi pond. The store has a large selection of their meads. We enjoyed root beer, elderberry jalapeno, and elderberry lime. We also got elder elixer and elderberry soap. Our pup enjoyed the trails and the large dog park. The owner and staff were knowledgeable and so welcoming.

Outstanding site! Beautiful spot nice and private with access to the pond and little beach with some wandering trails. My 3 young children loved it and the canoe is the perfect touch.
